안면도 기후변화감시소의 여름철 PM2.5 OC와 EC 분포 특성 및 배경대기 구분 (Distribution Characteristics and Background Air Classification of PM2.5 OC and EC in Summer Monsoon Season at the Anmyeondo Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) Regional Station)

  • Organic carbon (OC) and elemental carbon (EC) in PM2.5 were measured with Sunset Laboratory Model-5 Semi-Continuous OC/EC Field Analyzer by NIOSH/TOT method at Anmyeondo Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) Regional Station (37°32'N, 127°19'E) in July and August, 2017. The mean values of OC and EC were 3.7 ㎍ m-3 and 0.7 ㎍ m-3, respectively. During the study period, the concentrations of reactive gases and aerosol compositions were evidently lower than those of other seasons. It is mostly due to meteorological setting of the northeast Asia, where the influence of continental outflow is at its minimum during this season under southwesterly wind. While the diurnal variation of OC and EC were not clear, the concentrations of O3, CO, NOx, EC, and OC were evidently enhanced under easterly wind at night from 20:00 to 8:00. However, the high concentration of EC was observed concurrently with CO and NOx under northerly wind during 20:00~24:00. It indicates the influence of thermal power plant and industrial facilities, which was recognized as a major emission source during KORUS-AQ campaign. The diurnal variations of pollutants clearly showed the influence of land-sea breeze, in which OC showed good correlation between EC and O3 in seabreeze. It is estimated to be the recirculation of pollutants in land-sea breeze cycle. This study suggests that in general, Anmyeondo station serves well as a background monitoring station. However, the variation in meteorological condition is so dynamic that it is primary factor to determine the concentrations of secondary species as well as primary pollutants at Anmyeondo station.

  • De-NOx facility using Selective Catalytic Reduction method is the most widely applied one that removes NOx from flue gas emitted from combustion facility such as boiler for power generation engine incinerator etc. Reductant $NH_3\;or\;NH_4OH$ is sprayed into flue gas to convert NOx into $H_2O$ and $N_2.$ Good mixing between flue gas and $NH_3$ is the most important factor to increase reduction in catalytic layer and to reduce unreacted NH3 slip. Therefore the development of mixer device for mixing effect is one of the important part for SCR facility. Objectives of this study are to investigate the relation between flow and concentration field by observation at the wake of delta-wing type mixer. At the first stage qualitative measurement of flow field is conducted by flow visualization using laser light sheet in lab. scale wind tunnel. Also we have conducted the quantitative analysis by comparing flow field measurement using LDV with numerical simulation. On the basis of qualitative and quantitative analysis we investigate the dis-tribution of flow and concentration in flow model facility. The results of an experimental and compu-tational examination of the vortex structures shed from delta wing type vortex generator having $40^{\circ}$ angle of attack are presented, The effects of vortex structure on the gas mixing is discussed, too.

풍력발전(DFIG)의 고압배전선로의 사고특성 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fault Characteristics of Wind Power in Distribution Feeders)

  • 2008년도 지식경제부의 전망에 의하면 신재생에너지전원 중 풍력발전의 보급전망은 2020년 37%, 2030년 42%에 달하고, 2012년부터 시행 예정인 신재생에너지 의무할당제(Renewable Portfolio Standard-RPS)의 도입으로 태양광 및 풍력 등의 신재생에너지가 향후 지속적으로 배전계통에 연계 운용될 것으로 예상된다. 현재 풍력은 배전계통에 전용선로로 연계되어 계통에 미치는 영향은 미미하지만, 3[MW] 이상의 대규모 풍력발전이 일반 배전선로로 확대 운용되면, 풍력발전 연계용 변압기 및 풍력발전기의 %임피던스에 의한 사고전류 변동으로 보호계전기(OCR, OCGR)의 오 부동작을 야기할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 대표적인 풍력발전기인 이중여자유도발전기(Double-Fed Induction Generator-DFIG)가 고압 배전선로에 연계되어 운전되는 경우, 3상단락, 2선단락 및 1선지락의 사고특성을 분석하기 위하여, 전력계통 상용소프트웨어인 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용하여 풍력발전기의 모델링과 시뮬레이션을 수행하고, 대칭좌표법을 통한 이론적인 수치해석의 결과치를 비교/분석하여, 제안한 수법의 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • The overhead transmission wires operating both at warm temperature and tighten state for a long period of time in a power transmission plant are degraded by air pollution, wind, creep and slip between steel wire and aluminium conductor. The objective of this study is to investigate to investigate the characteristics of fatigue properties with tension and bending loading of a high carbon steel wire. The fatigue behaviors have been carried out by tension-tension, 4 points bending and 3 points bending loading. In the present study, a conventional fatigue strengths between 4 points bending and tension-tension fatigue were determined by Gerber, Sorderberg and Goodmans theory and we investigated S-N diagram for bending and tensile loading.

복잡한 지형의 임해지역에서 대기 분산계수의 평가 (Estimation of Atmospheric Dispersion Coefficients in A Coastal Area with Complex Topography)

  • To estimate the dispersion coefficients in a coastal area with complex topography, several schemes using empirical equations expressed with and in lateral and vertical directions, respectively have been examined. Estimation results using these equations and meteorological data obtained from SODAR system were compared' with previously measured dispersion coefficients in other coastal areas. Validations of estimation results have been performed by comparing the measured concentrations with predicted ones empolying in Boryung coastal area. Important conclusions were drawn as follows; (1) Variations of lateral and vertical wind direction revealed different height dependency in upper and lower mixed boundary layer. (2) Because of turbulent constraint effect by large water body in a coastal region, the lateral and the vertical dispersion coefficients were smaller than those of P-G system. (3) As a result of examining the performance measure of these schemes through checking of coincidence between measured and predicted concentrations, vertical dispersion coefficients were smaller than those of P-G system, and the Cramer scheme was found to be more appropriate rather than others in the coastal area surrounding Boryung power plant.

부산연안에서 관측된 저층대기의 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Low Level Atmosphere Observed in Pusan Coastal Ares)

  • The low level atmospheric obsewation carried out to Investigate magnitude, formation and dissipation of nocturnal surface Inversion layer, also to survey relation to each meterological parameter In Inversion layer at Pusan power plant for Oct. 13, 1996. As coastal area, the surface Inversion layer height was relatively high(186m), and after sunset unstable layer formated firom surface to around 40m, and the Inversion layer was left still in the upper layer. The surface Inversion layer dissipated at 0920LST perfectly. The layer that strong Inversion layer was formated, showed steep variation of potential temperature and wand speed and relative humidity.

  • 풍력 설비 공유 플랫폼은 풍력발전에 참여하고 있는 기업들간에 보유하고 있는 설비나 부품에 대한 정보를 공유하도록 지원해 주는 플랫폼이다. 이를 위해 내 설비관리, 고장이력 관리, 설비공개 현황, 내 계약 현황 기능을 구현하였다. 풍력 설비 공유 플랫폼을 통해 발전소 설비에 문제가 발생했을 시, 주변의 다른 발전소에서 보유하고 있는 예비 부품을 빠르게 공급받을 수 있도록 지원해 줄 뿐만 아니라, 고장이 빈번한 부품에 대한 구매정보, 고장이력정보 등을 사전에 구축 할 수 있도록 관리해줌으로써 추후 문제 발생 시 빠른 대응이 가능하다.

Numerical study on the gaseous radioactive pollutant dispersion in urban area from the upstream wind: Impact of the urban morphology

  • The radioactive pollutant could migrate to the downstream urban area under the action of atmospheric dispersion due to the turbulent mixing under actual pollution accidents. A scenario in which radioactive contaminants from the upstream (for example, a nearshore nuclear power plant accident) migrates to the downstream urban blocks have been considered in this study. Numerical simulations using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) are then conducted to investigate the effects of the urban morphology (building packing density and layout) on the atmospheric dispersion of radioactive pollutants in this scenario. The building packing density and structure can significantly affect urban areas' mean flow pattern and the turbulent kinetic energy (TKE). The flow pattern and the TKE distribution influence the radioactive pollution dispersion. It is found that the radioactive pollution at the urban canyons is significantly affected by the vertical transport at the canyon. A comparison of the distributions of radioactive and traditional non-radioactive pollutants is also provided.

  • 최근, 정부는 경기침체 극복에 대응하고 구조적 변환에 따른 국제활동을 주도하기 위한 국가발전 전략으로 "한국판 뉴딜 종합계획"을 도입하였다. 한국판 뉴딜에서 에너지와 관련된 '그린뉴딜'은 배출 가스 제로화를 목표로 하고 저탄소 녹색 경제로의 전환을 가속화하는 것이며, 이를 위해 정부는 재생에너지 사용 확대를 촉진한다는 계획이다. 본 논문에서는 저탄소 녹색 경제로의 전환을 촉진하기 위해 미활용 저온 열에너지를 활용하는 바이너리 발전과 실제 발전환경에서 무인 자동운전을 통해 저 비용으로 유지관리가 가능한 신경망 기반 제어시스템에 대해 검토한다. 이러한 바이너리 발전의 실현은 태양광, 풍력 등과 더불어 재생에너지의 도입을 가속화 할 것으로 기대된다.
