The purpose of this paper is output oriented, in order to maximize the output level of sustainable development efficiency of foreign trade in western China with limited input. This paper adopts the relevant input-output indicators of sustainable foreign trade development of 11 provinces and cities in western China from 2016 to 2020, and uses DEA model to measure their technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency. Malmquist index was used to calculate the total factor productivity change index of each province in western China from 2016 to 2020. We found that, on the whole, the average values of technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of provinces and cities in western China from 2016 to 2020 are greater than 0.8, indicating that the western region has high technical efficiency, relatively high management and institutional level and high existing scale level. Scale efficiency is lower than pure technical efficiency on the whole, indicating that the current sustainable development efficiency of foreign trade in western China is mainly limited by its scale level. The technological progress index is higher than the technological efficiency change index, indicating that the total factor productivity of the sustainable development of foreign trade in western China is mainly driven by technological progress and more influenced by external factors. We think the conclusion of this study can provide important reference information for the sustainable development of foreign trade of provinces and cities in western China.

It is widely accepted that, at present, the SO$_2$ emissions in China are not increasing thanks to the rigorous Chinese government policies. However, with the development of western China, it is possible that the SO$_2$ emission amounts might increase in regional scale. In this study, changes of sulfur deposition pattern and unprotected ecosystem in east Asia due to the sulfur emission pattern changes in China are studied by using the RAINS-Asia model. Five scenarios have been postulated to understand the effects on east Asia, especially, on Korea and Japan. It is found that the increase of SO$_2$ emission in western China might increase the total emission in whole China. And the amount of sulfur deposition from western China on east Asia would be higher than those from eastern China. The deposition amount of sulfur species on Asia is 3.2 Mt when SO$_2$ are emitted from western China only while 2.6 Mt from eastern China only. Generally, Korea and Japan are influenced more by emissions from eastern China than western China. However, if the SO$_2$ emissions from western China increase by 100% while those decrease by 10% in eastern China compared to the base case, the deposition amount of sulfur species on Korea and Japan would be higher than the base case. The fraction of unprotected ecosystem in Korea and Japan for the base case are 50 and 5%. However, if the emissions from western China increase by 100% while those decrease by 10% in eastern China, the fraction of unprotected ecosystem in Korea and Japan would be 52 and 6%.
The Korea-China FTA and China's huge development policy for its western regions could create a strategic opportunity for Korean Companies. This study suggests a strategy for expanding the domestic activities of Korean logistics Corporations and supporting the activities of Korean Companies operating in China. Using surveys of 32 Korean Logistics Corporations, important factors to consider when expanding into western China were analyzed. The results identified factors in the order of government, local markets, strategy, infrastructure, and finance and budget. The "development of Chinese Logistics specialists," "economic cooperation with the local governments of western China," and "holding investment Fairs and exhibitions" were important government-related factors. "Understanding entry permits and procedures for logistics corporations in China" and "understanding the logistics system of western China" were also shown to be important factors. Furthermore, governmental factors were suggested to be significant by large, medium-sized, and small businesses alike, while the factor of local markets was suggested to be significant by small-scale businesses.
Chinese government has implemented the West Development Strategy since 1999 to boost the region's growth and prevent the environmental degradation. Until now, the regional economy and living standard in Western China have been greatly improved, while it also indicated by the State Council that the ecological environment still deteriorated with part improvement, and pressure of water shortage increased. The paper focus on the relationship of GDP per capita and the volume of industrial waste water discharge of all the 12 provinces in Western China from 1989 to 2004, by the expanded EKC model in the cubic form. Results show that they mainly have down trend in the whole sample space but small up trend in the recent years. That means controlling of industrial wastewater discharge is still an important task to be insisted in the Western China.
China is pushing a policy called China's Western Development in order to balance the continent's development level. They are connecting the rich natural resources of the mid-western areas and the capital of the eastern coastal areas of China. Since Korea depends on China the most for trade, it is necessary for Korea to always consider the trade scale and pattern changes of China. Response to changes in the transport and logistics system between the two countries is also demanded. This study aims to analyze the import and export trends between Korean and Chinese provinces of each item from the trade scale point of view. China's global trade routes reorganization and China's western development are considered and the corresponding direction is presented accordingly. The study also suggests strategies to expand the import and export scale with China based on the analysis.
China's 'One Belt One Road' initiative has had a profound impact on China's relationship with Central Asia, which shares borders at North-western region. Central Asia plays an important role in securing the export market of Chinese products, supply of raw materials, and transportation route to Europe. The inland port is of significance to facilitate the development of logistics, trade and industry in the surrounding areas by enabling the distribution and import and export clearance in the region by performing the role of the seaport on the hinterland. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the development of inland ports in central and western China on the geopolitical relationship between China and Central Asia. To this end, we analyze the status of inland port development in China's Midwest by employing the SWOT-PEST analysis method to analyze the current status as well as prospects of trade, investment and transportation routes with Central Asia in terms of geopolitics. As a result of the analysis, the relations between China and Central Asian Countries are becoming more politically and economically close, but it has brought about serious challenges by domestic and foreign environmental changes. Therefore, the development of the inland ports in central and western China are determined by the geopolitical relations under 'One Belt One Road' initiative between China and Central Asia, while the development of the inland port is also expected to serve as a catalyst for the development of both regions.

This study is mainly to investigate the influences of both Western's utopian socialism and cooperatives ideas on the process of China's rural cooperation from 1919(the occurrence of 5.4 movement) to 1958(the completion of People's commune). To accomplish this, first, we will discuss that how these two ideas emerged as an alternative to Western capitalism in the before/early 20th century were introduced into China and how these ideas effected on the process of the China's Communist Revolution. Then, we will review the process of China's rural cooperation during the 1950s' new socialist nation-building period since the foundation of New China(1949), the sharp debates about rural cooperation in the process of its realization, and the reasons of radically promoting rural cooperation in the late 1950s. Finally, through these debates and experiences regarding rural cooperation in rural China during 1919-1958, any implications in solving rural cooperation problems of contemporary China facing difficulties will be provided.
Chinese medical science with long history has experience and theory of cure and prevention as well as the perfect different system with western medicine. Western medical science also was introduced in recent times and has been used in fast development in China extensively. Therefore only China that coexist oriental and western medicine is used the term, the integration of oriental and western medicine. Its object is to make better treatment and prevention value with utilizing their strong point and weak point. That is, its great principle is to develop through interchange together without interference in the other science. For mutual growth of both medical science, national concern and support, medical staffs, administrative system and a lot of fruits, etc should be arranged simultaneously. This paper was obtained the as follows. 1. The system of public health administration is composed a sanitary department for a western medicine and a managing agency for a chinese one in the center. From 2018 to 2020, the United States has repeatedly imposed sanctions on the Chinese company Huawei, which has triggered strong nationalist sentiments on the Chinese Internet. This paper is a qualitative content analysis of Zhihu netizens' views on US sanctions against Huawei to explore how anti-Western centrism influences young people's narratives. The results showed that they believe the Huawei matter is a deliberate hegemonic act by the United States because it fears the decline of its own technological status. Moreover, it is direct evidence that the United States is deliberately destroying China's economic development environment to slow down China's rise, as well as a typical manifestation of the injustice of the liberal international order. A further analysis revealed that their narrative logic is obviously influenced by the following aspects: 1) The mentality of national glory derived from comprehensive national strength leads them to believe that U.S. sanctions against Huawei are an obstacle to China's rise. 2) National humiliation leads them to view U.S. sanctions as a constant insult to China. 3) China's superiority created by China's comprehensive national strength and its scientific and technological achievements in recent years has boosted its confidence to challenge the West's absolute progress. This study examines the impact of anti-Western centrism on Chinese nationalist sentiment and offers a bottom-level perspective on the debate over the crisis of the liberal order.

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between agricultural insurance, agricultural loans, and the agricultural industry and find ways to consolidate and improve the interactive development between these three systems. We collected relevant data from 2009 to 2019 in 15 provinces of China and constructed a coupled coordination model to analyze the data. The results are as follows: First, the eastern part of China was ahead of the central and western parts in terms of agricultural loans and the agricultural industry, while the western part was ahead of the central and eastern parts in terms of agricultural insurance. Second, the coupling degree of the three systems in all 15 provinces reached an extremely high level. Third, all 15 provinces showed an overall continuous rise in coupling coordination degree. In 2019, eight provinces reached the medium-level coupling coordination development, and seven provinces were in a state of barely coupling coordination development. The three systems formed a mutually reinforcing relationship and basically entered a state of coordinated development. Finally, there was a great development gap between different regions of China concerning the coordinated development of the three systems, therefore, innovative development is urgently needed to further promote the coordinated development level.
