This paper investigates the effects of spatial autocorrelation structures in low resolution data on downscaling without ground measurements or secondary data, as well as the potential of geostatistical downscaling. An advanced geostatistical downscaling scheme applied in this paper consists of two analytical steps: the estimation of the point-support spatial autocorrelation structure by variogram deconvolution and the application of area-to-point kriging. Point kriging of block data without variogram deconvolution is also applied for a comparison purpose. Experiments using two low resolution thematic maps derived from remote sensing data showing very different spatial patterns are carried out to discuss the objectives. From the experiments, it is demonstrated that the advanced geostatistical downscaling scheme can generate the downscaling results that well preserve overall patterns of original low resolution data and also satisfy the coherence property, regardless of spatial patterns in input low resolution data. Point kriging of block data can produce the downscaling result compatible to that by area-to-point kriging when the spatial continuity in block data is strong. If heterogeneous local variations are dominant in input block data, the treatment of the low resolution data as point data cannot generate the reliable downscaling result, and this simplification should not be applied to donwscaling.

This study selected and analyzed filter media that can be applied in non-point pollution reduction devices aimed at processing the source of pollution on site for road runoff that increases rapidly in rainfall-runoff in order to improve the water quality of urban areas. First, the factors that affect the quality of runoff caused by sources of non-point pollution include physical and social factors such as the usage of land around the area of water collection, type of pavement and movement of cars and people, as well as rainfall characteristics such as frequency, intensity, amount and duration of rainfall. Second, the purification tests of the filter media were processed for pH, BOD, COD and T-P, and the filter media showed to have initial purification effect at that items. However, the filter media showed to be very effective for the processing of SS, T-N, Zn and Cd from the beginning to the end. Third, for filter media, zeolite and vermiculite showed to be effective for processing SS, T-N, Zn and CD constantly, and composite filter media including zeolite showed to have strong processing effects. The authors conclude that this study can be applied to technical areas and policies aimed at reducing non-point pollution in urban areas and can also contribute to allowing eco-friendly management of rainfall as well as improvement of water quality.

20대 미혼 여성 182명의 직접 계측치를 이용한 유방유형 분류에 유방전체 형상 요인, 유방상부내측형상 요인, 유방볼륨 요인, 유방하부외측형상 요인 등 4가지 요인이 추출되었다. 군집분석을 통해 '상부발달 유방', '밋밋한 유방', '하부 발달 유방', '돌출한 유방' 등 4유형의 유방유형으로 분류하였다. 유방유형은 목앞점~젖꼭지점길이, 목옆점~젖꼭지점길이, 유방안쪽점 사이간격, 젖꼭지 간격, 유방아래직경, 유방내측깊이, 유방바깥쪽길이, 유방아래길이, 젖가슴가쪽점~젖가슴위쪽점길이, 젖가슴 밑 윤곽선길이 등 10개 항목으로 판별 가능하다.

Our long-standing Metatheorem in Ordered Fixed Point Theory is applied to some well-known order theoretic fixed point theorems. In the first half of this article, we introduce extended versions of the Zermelo fixed point theorem, Zorn's lemma, and the Caristi fixed point theorem based on the Brøndsted-Jachymski principle and our 2023 Metatheorem. We show some of their applications to other fixed point theorems or theorems on the existence of maximal elements in partially ordered sets. In the second half, we collect and improve order theoretic fixed point theorems in the collection of Howard-Rubin in 1991 and others. In fact, we improve or extend several ordering principles or fixed point theorems due to Brézis-Browder, Brøndsted, Knaster-Tarski, Tarski-Kantorovitch, Turinici, Granas-Horvath, Jachymski, and others.

In this paper, we provide 3 detailed and explicit procedure of obtaining some regions of attraction for the positive steady state (assumed to exist) of a well known Lotka-Volterra type predator-prey system. Also we obtain the sufficient conditions to ensure that the positive equilibrium point of a well known Lotka-Volterra type predator-prey system with a single discrete delay is globally asymptotically stable.

An algorithm is proposed to determine the optimal contact forces of robotic hands, where the soft finger contact as well as the frictional point contact are considered. Especially, the algorithm can be efficiently applied to the case of multi-point contact by inner-link as well as fingertip. To show the validities of the algorithm, several numerical exampies are presented by employing a robotics hand with three fingers each of which has four joints.

In this paper, we establish some ĆIRIC type fixed point theorems in α-complete and orbitally T-complete non-Archimedean modular metric spaces. Meanwhile, we present an illustrative example to emphasis the realized improvements. These obtained results extend and improve certain well known results in the literature.

In this paper, we establish a unique common fixed point theorem for T-contraction of two self maps on generalized cone b-metric spaces with solid cone. The result of this paper improves and generalizes several well-known results in the literature. Two examples are also given to support the result.

To improve dimension accuracy and make very small parts are one of the major purpose on the electrochemical micromachining. This paper introduce a small machine tool by using the point electrode. That has a data acquisition system for gathering applied electric condition between the gap. Point electrode on this system was made by this method as well. It was found that variable phenomena occurred through the acquired V-I curve on the process.

In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible maps in Menger spaces with a continuous t-norm of H-type. As application to our results, we obtain the corresponding fixed point theorems in metric spaces. Our results improve and generalize many known results in Menger spaces as well as in metric spaces.
