XML is a meta-language as SGML and also can be xonsructed as an Internet versionof simplified SGML being used in confunction with XLL. Xpointer and XSL. Also W3C established DTDless Well-Formed XML document to use XML document on the Web. But it isnt offered system that consists of browsing, link and DTD generating facihty, and efficiently processes DTDless Well-Formed XML document. This paper studies on an implementation and design of system to process DTDless Well-Formed XML document on the client-side. This system consists of Well-Formed XML viewer displaying Well-Formed XML documet, XLL Processor processing Xll and Auto DTD generator constructing automatically DTDs based on multiple documents of the same class. This study focuses on automatic DTD generation during hyperlink navigation and an implementation of extended links based on XLL and Xpointer. ID and Xpointer location address are used as the address mode in the links. As a result of implement of this system, it conforms to validationof extended link facihties, extracts DTD from Well-Fromed XML Documents including same root element at the same class and constructs generalized DTD.

Insurance system has a lot of decision factors which are affected by the kinds of insurance products. and has the features of many exceptions. Since in applying the product attributes to the current system the value definition through tables and the exception treatment logic (if then else) are used in parallel, the cost of a product change and a new product development becomes increased and the prompt market reaction is difficult. In this paper, we propose the well formed rule base system which makes data for the business logic of insurance attributes and discuss the benefit of application of this system to the real project.

The current text based XML document systems are editing text and don't perform syntax check. As a result, the validity of an edited XML document can't be decided it is well-formed or valid until it is parsed. This paper describes a design and implementation of the syntax-directed editing system for XML documents. Because this is tree-based system, it is easy to extend XML document. And this system is designed to validate XML documents in real-time, It is expected that this paper contributes XML related application developments.

Visual inspection systems are widely proposed for the well formed surface materials like electronics parts. But the materials with ill reflection ability have many troubles when visual inspection system is introduced. We have developed a robust visual inspection system that can work well in spite of low reflection ratio and with much noise when truth model is not known in the mixed production line. A workpiece identification technique using k-means has been proposed to identify the type. Based on the identified type, a robust-to-noise segmentation method, called active contour, has been applied to segment the features from the image. Finally, Kalman filter has been applied to adapt the error variation. Experiment shows that performance is about to match the accuracy of manual measurement using projectors.

Effectiveness and its possibility of ELA (Excimer Laser Annealing) for advanced Si TFT system on insulator are described. Currently, extensive study is carried out to realize an advanced SoG (System on Glass) based on LTPS (Low Temperature Poly-Si) technique. By reducing further the process temperature and by improving the fabrication process of LTPS, addressing TFT circuits for FPD (Flat Panel Display) can be mounted onto a flexible plastic as well as onto a glass substrate. Functional devices on the insulating panels are developed to be formed by using ELA. Although technical issues are remained for the fabrication process, Si transistors including 3D TFT structure formed by ELA is expected as a functional Si system on insulator in the ubiquitous IT era.

We introduce a way to generate morphologically and syntactically well-formed English sentences when building Korean to English bilingual dictionary for Machine Translation Systems. It has been proved that basic inflectional or structural descriptions for English sentences are by no means enough to generate proper English sentences because of traditional dictionary structures. Furthermore, much research has been focused only on how to disambiguate semantic ambiguities of words in a bilingual dictionary To take advantage of existing paperback Korean to English bilingual dictionary, its automatic conversion to an electronic version and methodologies to assign proper features to the descriptions for well-formed English sentences with minimum human effort have been proposed on the basis of the dictionary-specific structures. This approach was originally motivated for a glossary-based machine translation system, but it can be also applied to large scale dictionary work.

The sheet parts are formed with dies conventionally. But this conventional forming process is not suited to small volume and varied production for the reason of high cost. For the solution of this problem, a new forming process, which is called CNC incremental sheet forming, is being introduced. This process can form sheet parts without die, and is very well suited to small volume and varied production in space flight and automobile. In this paper, dieless CNC forming system based on a machining center is developed. A special device to grasp and pull the blank sheet built in the machining center and tool path generation S/W from STL file of 3-D model are developed. Several sheet parts are incrementally formed to verify the effectiveness of the developed system.

Application systems of natural language processing such as machine translation system must deal with actual texts including the full range of linguistic phenomena. But it seems to be impossible that the existing grammar covers completely such actual texts because they include disruptive factors such as long sentences, unexpected sentence patterns and erroneous input to obstruct well-formed analysis of a sentence. In order to solve analysis failure due to the disruptive factors or incorrect selection of correct parse tree among forest parse trees, this paper proposes two-level computational grammar which consists of a constraint-based grammar and an error-tolerant grammar. The constraint-based computational grammar is the grammar that gives us the well-formed analysis of English texts. The error-tolerant computational grammar is the grammar that reconstructs a comprehensible whole sentence structure with partially successful parse trees within failed parsing results.
