측정 불확도에 따른 중량충격음 측정편차에 관한 연구 (Measurement uncertainty in heavy-weight floor impact sounds)

  • In a field measurement, measurement errors are produced by measuring environments and systematic errors in the measurement procedure. Measurement errors can be expressed as a measurement uncertainty. In this study, the measurement uncertainty and various measuring factors are investigated in heavy-weight impact sounds. According to KS 2810-2, the model functions, which is the estimation of the maximum SPL measurement in each octave band frequency, are determined. From this estimation model, 3.53dB is shown in 63Hz. This level is caused by the sound field of the receiving room, which does not meet the diffusing field.

  • Empirical equations for the oxide thickness and the weight gain of Zircaloy-4 cladding during the oxidation in high temperature, high pressure steam have been developed. Firstly, the empirical equations for oxide thickness in 1 atm steam in 700~100$0^{\circ}C$ were made, then, the enhancement factor for the steam pressure effects on Zircaloy-4 cladding oxidation in high temperature steam was added. Based on the analysis of the weight fraction of dissolved oxygen in metal layer, empirical equations for the weight gain of Zircaloy-4 in high pressure, high temperature steam were developed. We compare the developed empirical equations with the Baker-Just correlation. The Baker-Just correlation can give a non-conservative estimation of oxidation of Zircaloy-4, depending on the steam pressure. These developed empirical equations can be used for the correct estimation of oxidation of Zircaloy-4 during accident analysis.

일본잎갈나무와 리기다소나무의 중량추정식 및 중량표 개발 (Development of Weight Estimation Equations and Weight Tables for Larix kaempferi and Pinus rigida Stand)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 주요 침엽수종인 일본잎갈나무와 리기다소나무의 생중량과 건중량 도출을 위한 최적 추정식 도출과 최적 중량식에 의한 중량표를 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 중량표를 개발하기 위하여 전국에 분포하고 있는 일본잎갈나무 150본, 리기다소나무 90본, 전체 240본을 샘플링하여 현장에서 생중량을 측정하고, 각 부위별 시료를 채취하여 실험실에서 건중량을 측정하였다. 원목의 생중량과 건중량을 추정하기 위하여 이용한 식은 흉고직경의 1변수식, 그리고 흉고직경과 수고를 이용하는 2변수식으로 구분하였다. 또한 생중량 및 건중량 추정식들에 대해 적합성 검증을 위하여 적합도지수(FI), 평균제곱근오차(RMSE), 추정표준오차(SEE), 잔차도 등의 통계량을 이용하였으며, 도출된 최적식에 의해 중량을 계산하여 적용성을 검토하였다. 이 결과 흉고직경만을 이용할 때 W = bD+cD2 그리고 흉고직경과 수고를 이용할 때 W = aDbHc가 선정되었다. 선택된 1변수 중량추정식 W = bD+cD2의 적합도지수는 0.91였으며, 2변수 중량추정식 식 W = aDbHc의 적합도지수는 0.95로 모두 높게 나타났다. 이들 추정식으로 일본잎갈나무와 리기다소나무에 대한 생중량 및 건중량표를 새롭게 작성하였으며, 20년전의 중량표와 비교할 때 두 수종 모두 생중량 및 건중량이 기존 중량표가 큰 것으로 나타났다.

스틱모델에 의한 차체 경량화 설계 (Light weight vehicle design by stick model)

  • A method of weight evaluation of the load-bearing structural elements of cars is presented and the weight ratio of the analysis model is investigated. Replacing the materials of floor elements of the car into the high-strength steel, a considerable weight-reduction of the model has been obtained. The 1500cc model is selected for the present study and the stick model analysis is employed for the structural analysis. The torsional stiffness of the weight-reduced model is also evaluated and it is shown it has a reasonable rigidity. The ratio of the weight of the load-bearing structural elements to the unladen vehicle weight of cars is about 0.12for the 1500cc model and the weight-reduction of this study can be obtained around 17% of the weight of the load-bearing structural elements.

Development of Preliminary Design Model for Ultra-Large Container Ships by Genetic Algorithm

  • In this study, we carried out a precedent investigation for an ultra-large container ship, which is expected to be a higher value-added vessel. We studied a preliminary optimized design technique for estimating the principal dimensions of an ultra-large container ship. Above all, we have developed optimized dimension estimation models to reduce the building costs and weight, using previous container ships in shipbuilding yards. We also applied a generalized estimation model to estimate the shipping service costs. A Genetic Algorithm, which utilized the RFR (required freight rate) of a container ship as a fitness value, was used in the optimization technique. We could handle uncertainties in the shipping service environment using a Monte-Carlo simulation. We used several processes to verify the estimated dimensions of an ultra-large container ship. We roughly determined the general arrangement of an ultra-large container ship up to 1500 TEU, the capacity check of loading containers, the weight estimation, and so on. Through these processes, we evaluated the possibility for the practical application of the preliminary design model.

  • 주파수 비선택적 Rayleigh 페이딩 채널에서 준 최적 빔 형성과 페이딩 상관이 폐루프 송신 안테나 다이버시티(CTD) 시스템에 주는 영향을 분석하였다. 이동국에서 채널을 완벽하게 예측하는 것은 빠르게 변하는 채널의 페이딩으로 매우 어렵기 때문에 각각의 송신 안테나에 불완전한 가중치를 곱하게 된다. 이 불완전한 가중치는 준 최적의 빔을 형성하게 되고, CTD 시스템의 성능을 저하시킨다. 무선 채널의 페이딩 상관 역시 다이버시티 이득을 감소시키는 하나의 요소이다. CTD 시스템의 비트오율을 채널 예측 에러, 채널 상관계수, 궤환지연, 그리고 페이딩 지수의 함수로 해석적으로 유도하였다. 해석 결과 채널 예측에러가 채널상관보다 시스템성능에 더 많은 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 공간에서 원하는 신호를 추정하기 위해서 도래방향 MUSIC 공간 스펙트럼 알고리즘에 대해서 연구한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 MUSIC 공간 스펙트럼 알고리즘은 모델 오차와 베이즈 정리를 적용한 방법으로 목표물의 위치를 정확히 추정한다. 적응 배열 안테나를 사용한 수신기의 배열 응답 벡터는 베이즈 방법을 이용하고 모델 오차방법으로 수신 신호의 가중치를 갱신하여 원하는 목표물의 도래 방향을 정확히 추정한다. 본 연구에서 원하는 도래방향 목표물의 신호 추정은 입사 신호의 간섭과 잡음을 제거한 후 배열 응답 벡터를 신호 공분산 행렬의 가중치에 적용한다. 모의실험을 통해서 본 논문에서 제안한 방법과 기존의 도래방향 알고리즘을 비교 분석한다.

경화 콘크리트의 배합비 추정기법 개발에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental Study on the Development of Estimation Technique for the Mix Proportion of Hardened Concrete)

  • It is difficult to change or remedy concrete structure after hardened. It is usual to evaluate the quality of hardened concrete using several test method. This study was performed to make fundamental data that could be used to evaluate the quality of hardened concrete. This study is to estimate mix proportion of hardened concrete. Each elements of concrete needed different estimation methods. First, the cement that handled by the most important compounds measured by XRF(X-ray fluorecence) machine with scanning Ca-K${\alpha}$. Second, the coarse aggregate that divided by maximum size measured by the area comparison method that starts from the assumption of uniform distribution. Third, the fine aggregate measured by the weight comparison method that needs several prerequsite constants which concerned cement hydration reaction. Fourth, the water content would be estimated by expert system that has data base of design data, the contents of above estimation results, the characteristics of concrete strength. As the result of the above research, some conclusions are as follows. The cement estimation method resulted by reliability of mean 96.7%, standard deviation 3.92. The area comparison method resulted by reliability of mean 95.3%, standard deviation 2.08. The weight comparison method resulted by reliability of mean 93.3%, standard deviation 3.35.

Improving $L_1$ Information Bound in the Presence of a Nuisance Parameter for Median-unbiased Estimators

  • An approach to make the information bound sharper in median-unbiased estimation, based on an analogue of the Cramer-Rao inequality developed by Sung et al. (1990), is introduced for continuous densities with a nuisance parameter by considering information quantities contained both in the parametric function of interest and in the nuisance parameter in a linear fashion. This approach is comparable to that of improving the information bound in mean-unbiased estimation for the case of two unknown parameters. Computation of an optimal weight corresponding to the nuisance parameter is also considered.

  • The mean birth weight and weaning weight estimated from 777 kids from 30 bucks of Teddy goats were $1.67{\pm}0.31$ and $8.50{\pm}2.18kg$, respectively. The estimates of heritability of birth weight and weaning weight by half sib correlation method were $0.048{\pm}0.022$ and $0.101{\pm}0.012kg$, respectively. The high heritability estimates of birth weight indicates that selection on the basis of individual's own record will be effective. The low estimates of heritability of weaning weight indicates more emphasis should be given to improve environmental conditions for better achievement.
