Lately mobile handheld devices such as Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and cellular phones are getting more popular for personal web surfing. However, today most mobile handheld devices have relatively poor web browsing capability due to their low performance so their users have to suffer longer communication latency than those of desktop Personal Computers (PCs). In this paper, we propose an effective pre-refresh mechanism for embedded web browser of mobile handheld devices to reduce this problem. The proposed mechanism uses the idle time to pre-refresh the expired web objects in an embedded web browser's cache memory. It increases the utilization of Central Processing Unit (CPU) power and network bandwidth during the idle time and consequently reduces the client's latency and web browsing cost. An experiment was done using a simulator designed by us to evaluate the efficacy of the proposed mechanism. The experiment result demonstrates that it has a good performance to make web surfing faster.

The web has become indispensable in all of our daily lives. We communicate, study and get information with others through the web. This behavior also continues in the smart phone environment. The biggest problem is that the small display screen of a smart phone degrades the accuracy in selecting or manipulating content for people with low vision. To compensate for this, voice guidance services that combine touch and voice, such as VoiceOver and Talkback, are currently provided to smart phone devices. However, restrictions arise in GUI, TTS control problems, and content expansion and selection. In addition, unnecessary content is also output by voice, which causes fatigue for low vision people to use. In this study, we propose a mobile web browser interface that selects and enlarges a desired area from web browsers and contents, or outputs it as a voice so that people with low vision can easily use the mobile web browser. In this paper, we propose a context selective focusing function that enables selection for each element of web content. In addition, we intend to develop a mobile voice web browser that can enlarge the selected content or output it by voice.

The present Web surroundings is mostly composed of HTML(Hypertext Mark-up Language) and thereby users obtain web informations mainly in GUI(Graphical User Interface) environment by clicking mouse in order to keep up with hyperlinked informations. However it is very inconvenient to work in this environment comparing with easily accessed one in which human`s voice is utilized for obtaining informations. Using VoiceXML, resulted from XML, for supplying the information through telephone on the basis of the contemporary matured technology of voice recognition/synthesis to work out the inconvenience problem, this paper presents the research results about VoiceXML VUI(Voice User Interface) Browser designed and implemented for realizing its technology and also the VoiceXML Dialog designed for the purpose of the browser's efficient use.

지구 온난화로 인한 국제적 위기가 초래됨에 따라 전 세계는 지구온난화의 주범인 온실가스를 줄이기 위해 에너지 소비를 절감하기 위한 여러 기술들을 도입하고 시행 중이다. 우리나라는 총에너지의 30%를 건물에서 소비하고 있으며, 건물 에너지를 관리하기 위해 BAS 및 BEMS을 운영하고 있지만, 현재 BEMS는 효율적인 에너지 관리를 위한 정보표현기술이 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 BEMS의 운영효율향상을 위해 세종시 첫마을에 위치한 참샘초등학교 BEMS를 대상 으로 연구를 진행하였다. BIM을 이용하여 건물 공간정보 Web 모델을 생성하고 에너지 시각화를 위해 로컬데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 그리고 건물 공간정보 Web모델과 로컬데이터베이스를 Web Browser로 연동하여 에너지정보를 시각화 하였다. ISO/IEC 9126 국제표준을 근거하여 정량적 평가를 수행하였으며, 2달간 본 시스템을 운영하여 약 16%의 에너지 절감을 확인 할 수 있었다. 우리는 3D Web Browser를 통해 BEMS의 운영효율향상을 가져올 것이라 기대한다.

In this paper, we design and implement remote servo motor control system with real-time micro embedded operating system. The system, where controller and camera image grabber are mounted, handles control commands transmitted from a remote PC web browser. A hard real-time servo motor driver running on the real-time micro embedded OS and then a digital control application which confirms precise sampling time intervals is constructed. Frame grabber images transmitted from camera are saved in a image data format to view on remote PC web browser.

본 연구는 인터넷 익스플로러 컨트롤을 사용하여 자신만의 웹브라우저를 만들어 봄으로써 브라우저에 대한 이해를 높이고 자신만의 고유목적의 브라우저를 제작하여 사용함으로써 특정인의 특정도메인 이외의 검색을 지양한다든지 청소년과 같은 어린이의 경우 특정도메인에 대한 접속을 방지한다든지 하는 기법들을 활용 할 수 있는 능력을 제고하고자 함에 있다.

WebView is a vital component in smartphone platforms like Android, Windows and iOS that enables smartphone applications (apps) to embed a simple yet powerful web browser inside them. WebView not only provides the same functionalities as web browser, it, more importantly, enables a rich interaction between apps and webpages loaded inside the WebView. However, the design and the features of WebView lays path to tamper the sandbox protection mechanism implemented by browsers. As a consequence, malicious attacks can be launched either against the apps or by the apps through the exploitation of WebView APIs. This paper presents a critical attack called Supplementary Event-Listener Injection (SEI) attack which adds auxiliary event listeners, for executing malicious activities, on the HTML elements in the webpage loaded by the WebView via JavaScript Injection. This paper also proposes an automated static analysis system for analyzing WebView embedded apps to classify the kind of vulnerability possessed by them and a solution for the mitigation of the attack.

This paper shows the development process for measuring three-dimensional flow velocity components in a web-browser. The system is developed in an embeddable C/C++ interpreter Ch and Ch-CGI toolkit. The interface for the web-based measurement system consists of a set of web HTML files and Ch files for CGI. All of data in web browser are passed to Ch-CGI script to generate the output of new HTML file. PC-Server and PC-Client can submit measurement parameters and receive the text/graphical results each other. PC-Client can control the test equipment by using a parameters that received from PC-Server. It also can pass the test results between the web-based measurement system. In summary, the designed measurement system is evaluated, the outputs shown well on the web browser.

On account of the text based mail system has it's limit to support multimedia applications, GUI based mail system platform was developed to control document flow and automatize information process. The existing mail systems's to transmit data must need additional functions to automate document flow control. The platform of document flow control is deeply related to EDMAS(Electronic document Management System), workflow, Electronic Banking, DMS(Document Management System) automation, so it needs an ability to control proper data and document correctly. To resolve this problems, we are need of browser and engine to design work flow and to control documents flow. In this paper, we develope a mail browser to design document flow by follow user's requirements. This system can generate executive script code for document flow, and we add the function of workflow and process management to automatize the document flow in this system, and then we implement this Data flow engine.

스마트폰 보급화와 함께 누구나 자유롭게 애플리케이션을 개발하여 판매할 수 있는 네이티브 애플리케이션 시장이 성장하고 있다. 애플의 앱스토어를 시작으로 활발해진 애플리케이션 시장은 구글이 구글플레이를 개방하면서 더욱 빠르게 확대되고 있다. 하지만 네이티브 애플리케이션의 플랫폼 종속적인 면으로 인해 개발자들은 각 플랫폼에 맞게 개발해야함에 따라 수익 대비 개발비용이 증가하는 현상이 발생하고 있다. 네이티브 애플리케이션의 종속적인 문제를 해결하기 위해 차세대 웹 기반 언어로 개발된 웹 애플리케이션이 주목을 받고 있지만 각 브라우저의 스토어가 요구하는 매니페스트(Manifest) 형식에 따라 웹 애플리케이션을 제작하기 때문에 브라우저 종속적인 문제를 가진다. 이러한 웹 애플리케이션의 문제는 웹 애플리케이션을 사용하기 위해서 반드시 해당 브라우저를 설치해야만 하며, 타 브라우저의 스토어에 있는 애플리케이션은 사용하지 못하는 현상을 발생시킨다. 종속적인 문제는 사용자의 애플리케이션 선택 범위를 좁히고, 일부 스토어의 편중 현상을 불러올 수 있다. 개방형 웹 애플리케이션 스토어(OWS, Open Web Store)는 다양한 환경을 지원하는 표준 스토어로서, 스토어간 애플리케이션 연동을 통해 플랫폼이나 브라우저에 종속적인 문제점을 해결하고, 소비자의 폭 넓은 선택을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 OWS와 관련하여 연동을 위한 애플리케이션 Manifest 표준과 스토어의 표준 구조를 제안하며, 이를 기반으로 한 연동 시나리오를 제안한다.
