본 연구는 웹 기반 PBL 환경에서 배경지식 수준과 메타인지 지원 도구 제공여부가 학습자의 PBL 활동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 본 연구를 위하여 웹기반 PBL 프로그램을 활용하였고 실험집단에 별도의 연구 제작된 메타인지 지원 도구를 포함시켰다. PBL수행과정에 있어서는 메타인지 지원 도구를 제공한 집단의 경우 평균이 3.82점 높아 유의도 수준 .05에서 의미있는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 PBL 수행결과에 있어서 배경지식 수준과 메타인지 지원 도구의 제공여부간의 상호작용효과가 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 보였다. 결국 배경지식이 하위인 학습자 집단에 메타인지 지원 도구를 제공하여줌으로써 문제를 해결하고 결과 보고서를 작성하는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

Backround : The paradigm of recent education has been shifting from existing style of professor-oriented, passive and rote teaching to learner-centered education. Rather than mere delivery of knowledge, today's idea of education uses various audiovisual media to let learners gain more problem-solving skills, judgment, cognitive thinking ability, and creativity to apply to real practice. Also, while current trends and change in policy ask for related industry to require practice-centered teaching learning model, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is quite effective that it activates problem-solving skills as well as application of National Competency Standards (NCS). Purpose : The purpose of this study was to suggest a teaching learning model article as an approach to apply web-based PBL for patient & medical charge management practices. Discussion & Conclusion : This paper the cases on PBL and presents the teaching learning model on web-based PBL as an approach to applying web-based PBL, which fits Medical Information System Department that combines health-medical treatment and computer applications, to practical health administrative affairs.

본 연구의 목적은 컴퓨터 교과에서 요구되는 정보소양 뿐 아니라 문제해결능력을 함양시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 컴퓨터 교과의 대안적 교수 학습 방법으로 주목을 반기 시작한 문제중심학습(PBL)을 중학교 컴퓨터 교과에서 적용가능한 웹기반 수업을 설계하며, PBL 수업의 구체적인 실제를 살펴보기 위하여 중학교 2학년 PBL 수업에서 다루어진 과제에 대한 학습지의 문제해결 과정을 분석하는 것이다.

본 논문은 문제기반학습모형(Problem-based learning model)접근방법을 공학회계라는 다분히 학제 간 성격(공학과 회계학)을 갖는 교과에 어떻게 적용할 지를 다룬다. PBL 접근방법은 급변하는 기업 환경에서 공학회계와 관련한 기업 문제를 제기하고 다룰 수 있을 것이며, 또한 이를 시스템적 관점해서 해결하려는 공학 측면에서도 적절할 것으로 판단된다. PBL모형의 현실적인 적용을 위해서 학생들이 해결해야 할 문제를 생성하고, 해결하는 과정을 수행할 수 있도록 웹 기반 실습 시스템을 개발, 제안한다.

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is one of methods which has been developed to promote student-centered learning and to pursue self-directed learning for life-long learning. The purpose of this study is exploring the possibility of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in college Earth science course. The participants of this study were fourteen students attending an Earth science class at Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul. PBL was implemented in the form of group project with utilizing Web-based course tool. We provided questionnaires and conducted interviews to figure out students' perception about PBL. The findings were as follows: Through a given experiences, (1) students participated more actively than LBL (Lecture Based Learning), (2) more students were engaged with self-directed learning, and (3) students made higher cognitive efforts. LBL seemed to be more efficient way to acquire factual knowledge. In the meanwhile, PBL did not seem to affect the improvement of communication skills. Students could not make use of Web-based course tool effectively in communicating with other team members. In this study, we found that college student participants preferred problems related to everyday life, environmental issues and interesting but unusual incidents. On the other hand, they felt difficult in open-ended problems, especially when they were asked to provide their own evaluation. On the basis of PBL experiment in this paper, we present one method of successful implementation of PBL and suggest topics which should be studied in the future.

웹기반 교육 시스템의 경우 학습자간의 상호작용이 교육적 교류와 사회성을 증진하는데 도움을 주기 때문에 인터넷을 통하여 상호작용을 증진하는 방법이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 상호작용 향상을 위한 웹기반 문제중심학습(PBL) 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 실제 웹기반 PBL 수업에서 설계된 상호작용 증진 방안이 PBL 활동에 어떤 영향을 미치고, 학생들이 웹기반 PBL 학습경험을 어떻게 인식하는지 조사하였다. 실험결과 제안한 시스템이 학습자들의 자기 주도적 학습과 정과 상호작용을 촉진하는 것으로 확인되었다.

This study explores factors to facilitate web-based collaborative learning and the effect of learning, based on the PBL(Problem Based Learning) from the constructivist approach in e-learning. A research model, using the key variables such as situations, interactions, and systems, was developed. In order to test this proposed model, experimental design and post-survey was conducted to the learners who took on-line and off-line course with team project. In the research model, situation category was divided into instructor's support, unstructured problem, and self-directed learning. Interaction category was divided into three factors; 'interaction between learners', 'interaction between learner and instructor', and 'interaction between learner and technology'. System category was divided into.monitoring and incentives. As a result, it was found that collaborative learning can be improved by situations, interactions, and systems, and the effectiveness of learning can be improved by situations and interactions in PBL.

본 연구에서는 ICT 활용 교육을 위한 웹 기반 문제중심학습 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 위해 선행 연구된 웹 기반 문제중심학습의 특성과 모형을 탐색한 후 6개의 구성요소로 시스템을 설계하고 그에 따라 시스템을 학습 안내, 학습 문제, 모둠 학습실, 학습 결과, 학습 도우미, 자유 게시판 등 6개의 요소로 구성하였다. 또한, 구현된 시스템을 실제 ICT 활용 초급자에게 적용한 결과 '웹 기반 문제중심학습 시스템'이 기존의 off-line 강의식 수업 방식에 비해 워드프로세싱 기능 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었고 학습 흥미도, 토론 참여도, 맞춤 클리닉 활용도, 학습자의 태도 변화에 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

e-PBL based on constructivism adopted PBL(Problem Based Learning) and WBI(Web Based Learning), and it becomes the advanced model of instruction to be achieved PBL on-line. In this thesis, I applied e-PBL to 'the changing weather' part in the high school earth science I, compared to the lecture centered instruction, and analyzed how it affected on. On the basis of these, this study predicts the applicability on the cooperative learning and self-directed learning in the high school and suggests the improving of the teaching-learning with the results. The following shows the conclusion with as the central result of research. Firstly, the instruction applied e-PBL proved more effective academic achievement than the lecture centered instruction. Secondly, the instruction applied e-PBL proved more effective on the improving self-directed learning ability. Thirdly, the instruction applied e-PBL proved more effective self-efficacy than the lecture centered instruction.

지식의 습득은 개인적으로 일어나지만, 그 지식은 동료, 교사와 같은 사회적인 맥락으로부터 만들어지고 지식과 기술이 적절하고 효과적이었는지에 대한 피드백이 일어난다. 학습은 문제를 같이 이해하고, 문제 해결을 위한 다양한 도구들을 공유하는 환경 내에서 효과적으로 발생한다. 본 연구의 목적은 창의적 문제해결력 증진을 위해 창의적 문제해결의 주요원리들을 응용하여 창의적 문제해결력 증진을 위한 e-PBL을 개발하는데 있다. 본 연구의 결과 웹 2.0 기반의 e-PBL로 학습한 집단이 e-러닝을 사용하여 학습한 집단보다 수업만족도와 문제해결력에서 더욱 효과적으로 나타났다.
