In this paper, the web-based monitoring system is developed for the effective process monitoring of mold manufacturing using web. In developed system, the cutting force for monitoring the manufacturing condition is measured using hall-sensor that is low cost and useful to be installed in a machine tool indirectly. Specially, the current of main spindle in a machine tool is converted into cutting force by various experiments. For effective web-based monitoring, the program which runs in the local computer of client is made to exchange message between a server and a client by making of ActiveX control and the result of manufacturing is shown on web-browser by Ch language. The developed system in this study is the foundation of establishing E-manufacturing in mold factory.

The purposes of this study is to investigate the factor structure of web-site characteristics and antecedents factors affected to trust, satisfaction and behavioral intention of web-site. Refined data were consisted of 4 internet shopping mall survey and estimated the perception to visiting web site. Statistical methods are adapted Frequency, Factor Analysis and CFA(Confirmatory Factor Analysis) of LISREL. 8 program. Research findings are as follows. The factors of web characteristics indicated to product information/buying procedure clarification, stability and function of system, usability of web site, security and protection of individual information, design, clarification of enterpriser information, various payment methods and customer service. In regression analysis, dependent variables were trust, satisfaction and behavioral intention. reputation of site were significantly effected variables. External variables consisted of the 4 characteristics of web-site and reputation and trust, satisfaction and behavioral intention were internal factor.

Today, Web Services is very well-known as a middle-ware that can inter-communicate between many different program languages. This paper test web services by implementing two different web services platforms which are MS .NET based server and Apache AXIS based client. Those platforms have different data structure/process, and they could not give the developer seamless data compatibility through web services. However we confirmed that handling data, by some data transforming rules, web services can successfully inter-communicate between MS .NET based server and Apache AXIS based client.

We have designed embedded web sewer system and ported Linux operating system version 2.4.5 at our system. And then We implemented to control and monitor widely separated hardware and implemented to monitor widely separated image using CMOS image sensor HV7131B. Web server is the Boa web server with General Public License. We designed for this system using of Intel's SA1110 ARM core base processor and connecting input and output device at GPIO port of SA1110. Device driver of General purpose I/O for Embedded Linux OS is designed. And then the application program controlling driver is implemented to use of common gate interface C language. User is available to control and monitor at client PC. This method have benefit to reduce the Expenditure of hardware design and development time against PC base system and have various and capacious application against firmware base system.

This study proposed a structural and semantic framework for the characterization of events and segments in Web videos that permits content-based searches and dynamic video summarization. Although MPEG-7 supports multimedia structural and semantic descriptions, it is not currently suitable for describing multimedia content on the Web. Thus, the proposed metadata framework that was designed considering Web environments provides a thorough yet simple way to describe Web video contents. Precisely, the metadata framework was constructed on the basis of Chatman's narrative theory, three multimedia metadata formats (PBCore, MPEG-7, and TV-Anytime), and social metadata. It consists of event information, eventGroup information, segment information, and video (program) information. This study also discusses how to automatically extract metadata elements including structural and semantic metadata elements from Web videos.

In SCADA systems, an RTU is a device installed at a remote location that collects data, codes the data into a format that is transmittable and transmits the data back to a central station, or MTU. An RTU also collects information from the master device and implements processes that are directed by master device. RTUs are equipped with input channels for sensing or metering, output channels for control, indication or alarms and a communications port. In general, the data are transmitted via a wired communication infrastructure such as RS422 or RS485 between RTU and MTU. But, limited range of wired communication doesn't allow the system to cover remote areas over the limitation, and building a wired communication network is not easy in the circumstances. In this Paper, we design and implement a smart cost-effective Web-RTU that can communicate with MTU via Web. Web is of benefit to the Web-RTU, because it is not only free from the distance limitations, but also is built easily and cost-effectively wherever Internet resources are available. Additionally, Web can be easily applied to the SCADA system with the development of hardware and software for communications. The Web-RTU has a program memory, a data memory and a RAM inside, and uses Atmega128, low-cost 8 bit micro-processor with eight AI(Analog Input). It performs well enough to implement all existing roles of RTU.

소프트웨어 공학 측면에서 웹 기반 프로젝트는 상당히 비효율적인 분야이다. 웹 기반 시스템을 개발하기 위해서는 사용자 인터페이스 디자이너가 먼저 화면 레이아웃을 설계한 후 그 화면의 레이아웃 소스를 가지고 다시 비즈니스 로직 개발자가 코딩을 하여 프로젝트를 완성한다. 유지 보수를 하는 경우에도 이와 비슷한 형태로 작업이 진행된다. 이러한 웹 기반의 소프트웨어 개발 방법은 JSP의 태그 라이브러리와 같은 다양한 형태로 제안되었으나 실제로 적용하는데 여러 가지 문제점이 있으며 기존의 C/S 기반의 소프트웨어 개발에 비해 생산성 측면에서도 매우 좋지 않다. 본 논문에서 제안한 웹 폼 시스템은 기존에 제안된 방법들이 해결하지 못한 사용자 인터페이스 디자인과 비즈니스 로직을 분리하여 웹 기반 소프트웨어의 개발 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

For this purpose, most of all, we thought over the theoretical background for the application of Web-resources to the teaching and learning program at the school mathematics. Second, we looked into the applied class and the class pattern with the internet. And then, we arranged the cases using the internet web materials. The last, we mentioned what the matters of learning based on the web are and what the teacher's roles are.

This study was conducted to develop web-based distance learning program of basic nursing physical science which was composed of a multimedia contents such as documents, voices and pictures. This was to advance curriculum of basic nursing physical science based on a proper nursing characteristics related to other major nursing subjects and induce a new and creative method to gain a knowledge. Based on a general learning design model, distance learning program was developed centered on a structure and function of heart physical science in 1999. The stages of development were like this. Firstly, at the analytic stage, specific units and contents for developing multimedia contents were decided and presentation methods for each item were designed and then the evaluation items were developed. Secondly, at the design stage, the most effective design of multimedia construction was selected and interfaces, basic frames, and presentation elements were chosen. Thirdly, at the developmental stage, internet files were designed using Namo web editor 4.0 and this files were modified with Adobe Photoshop.

Purpose: This study was to test the effectiveness of Web-based multimedia contents for Physical Examination and Health Assessment on learning achievement. Method: Multimedia contents based on Jung's teaching and learning structure model were used to enhance learning achievement. Learning achievement was measured by the knowledge of Physical Examination and Health Assessment. The participants of this study were students in a BSN and RN-BSN program in a university located in Seoul. 59 students in the experimental group received lectures using web-based multimedia contents and 75 students in the control group received regular lectures. Results: The mean score of the degree of educational achievement in the experimental group(mean=31.09) was significantly higher than in the control group(mean=25.55)(t=-3.883, p=.000). Conclusion: These web-based multimedia contents were found to maximizethe effectiveness of the teaching process when used as a teaching aid, and yet kept the strength of a face to face teaching learning method. This program is recommended as part of a main text, vital teaching aid or cyber lecture materials in nursing schools and in health care educational institutions.
