  • This paper presents a methodology how to utilize management of research scheduling plan, processing, and results using Web Knowledge Database System, which integrates research knowledge management model under the Research & Development Environment. Knowledge Conversion between Conceptual Graph Model and Resource Description Framework

  • On the Semantic Web, the content of the documents must be explicitly represented through metadata in order to enable contents-based inference. In this study, we propose a mechanism to convert the Conceptual Graph (CG) into Resource Description Framework (RDF). Quite a large number or representation languages for representing knowledge on the Web have been established over the last decade. Most of these researches are focused on design of independent knowledge description. On the Semantic Web, however, a knowledge conversion mechanism will be needed to exchange the knowledge used in independent devices. In this study, the CG could give an entire conceptual view of knowledge and RDF can represent that knowledge on the Semantic Web. Then the CG-based object oriented PROLOG could support the natural inference based on that knowledge. Therefore, our proposed knowledge conversion mechanism will be used in the designing of Semantic Web-based knowledge representation and inference systems.

  • We will introduce a new web-based knowledge management system in progress, in which XML-based web information extraction and our structuring knowledge technologies are combined using ontology-based natural language processing. Our aim is to provide efficient access to heterogeneous information on the web, enabling users to use a wide range of textual and non textual resources, such as newspapers and databases, effortlessly to accelerate knowledge acquisition from such knowledge sources. In order to achieve the efficient knowledge management, we propose at first an XML-based Web information extraction which contains a sophisticated control language to extract data from Web pages. With using standard XML Technologies in the system, our approach can make extracting information easy because of a) detaching rules from processing, b) restricting target for processing, c) Interactive operations for developing extracting rules. Then we propose a structuring knowledge system which includes, 1) automatic term recognition, 2) domain oriented automatic term clustering, 3) similarity-based document retrieval, 4) real-time document clustering, and 5) visualization. The system supports integrating different types of databases (textual and non textual) and retrieving different types of information simultaneously. Through further explanation to the specification and the implementation technique of the system, we will demonstrate how the system can accelerate knowledge acquisition on the Web even for novice users of the field.

Online 의료웹서비스 품질과 지식제공성과의 관계 연구 (Relationships between Online Web Service Quality and Knowledge Transfer)

  • As information technology had shown tremendous development in late 20th century, various service opportunities appeared in many industries. Also, new types of service are becoming available such as, reservation, teleconsultation, telemedicine. In health care industry, in which, many hospitals are faced operational difficulties and competing impetuously, a web site has become a effective tool to attract patients and transfer tremendous health information to the patients. This study is based on many previous researches on online service quality, try to figure out e-service quality factors of health information sites, and the factors' effect on users' satisfaction on the web site via providing knowledge and trust on the web site. As a result, usability, site aesthetic, responsiveness and security are the 4 factors to measure e-service quality of health information web site. All factors except site aesthetic have significant effects on providing knowledge, security only effects on trust on the web site.

Hybrid Intelligent Web Recommendation Systems Based on Web Data Mining and Case-Based Reasoning

  • In this research, we suggest a hybrid intelligent Web recommendation systems based on Web data mining and case-based reasoning (CBR). One of the important research topics in the field of Internet business is blending artificial intelligence (AI) techniques with knowledge discovering in database (KDD) or data mining (DM). Data mining is used as an efficient mechanism in reasoning for association knowledge between goods and customers' preference. In the field of data mining, the features, called attributes, are often selected primary for mining the association knowledge between related products. Therefore, most of researches, in the arena of Web data mining, used association rules extraction mechanism. However, association rules extraction mechanism has a potential limitation in flexibility of reasoning. If there are some goods, which were not retrieved by association rules-based reasoning, we can't present more information to customer. To overcome this limitation case, we combined CBR with Web data mining. CBR is one of the AI techniques and used in problems for which it is difficult to solve with logical (association) rules. A Web-log data gathered in real-world Web shopping mall was given to illustrate the quality of the proposed hybrid recommendation mechanism. This Web shopping mall deals with remote-controlled plastic models such as remote-controlled car, yacht, airplane, and helicopter. The experimental results showed that our hybrid recommendation mechanism could reflect both association knowledge and implicit human knowledge extracted from cases in Web databases.

효과적인 지식창출을 위한 웹 상의 지식채굴과정 : 주식시장에의 응용 (Knowledge Discovery Process from the Web for Effective Knowledge Creation: Application to the Stock Market)

  • This study proposes the knowledge discovery process for the effective mining of knowledge on the web. The proposed knowledge discovery process uses the Prior knowledge base and the Prior knowledge management system to reflect tacit knowledge in addition to explicit knowledge. The prior knowledge management system constructs the prior knowledge base using a fuzzy cognitive map, and defines information to be extracted from the web. In addition, it transforms the extracted information into the form being handled in mining process. Experiments using case-based reasoning and neural network" are performed to verify the usefulness of the proposed model. The experimental results are encouraging and prove the usefulness of the proposed model.

Recently, the Web 2.0 that makes the interpersonal communication, and it is for Blogshpere is formed for communication. As a result of the analysis of correlation with the factors in creation of knowledge, and knowledge sharing, there are some correlations to each other.

  • 세계는 지식정보사회(knowledge information society)에 돌입하였다. 정보기술은 지식경영을 등장시킨 요인중의 하나이며 지식경영발전을 가속화시키는 원동력이라고 볼 수 있다. 그리고 최근 정보기술과 인터넷은 눈부신 발전을 해오고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 급변하는 디지털 환경하의 방대한 인터넷 데이터에서 웹 데이터 마이닝을 통해 고객에 대한 숨겨진 지식을 창출하고, 그 지식을 지식경영프레임웍에 적용한 지식-기반디자인 패러다임을 구축하여 디지털 환경에서 실시간에 고객에 대한 유용한 지식을 창출하여 고객의 욕구를 충족시키는 디자인을 개발 할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 먼저 이론적 고찰에서 지식경영프로세스와 웹 데이터 마이닝에 관련된 다양한 사전 연구들을 살펴보고 지식경영프로세스와 웹 데이터 마이닝을 결합하여 새로운 지식-기반 디자인 패러다임(본 연구에서는 웹 데이터 마이닝과 지식경영프로세스가 통합하여 구현된 진정한 의미의 eCRM을 지식-기반 디자인패러다임이라 칭한다)을 제안한다.

  • 시맨틱 웹 포탈은 시맨틱 웹 기술들을 이용하여 기존의 웹 포탈의 단점을 극복함으로써 보다 정확하고 효과적인 지식공유의 수단이 될 것으로 기대되고 있다. 시맨틱 웹 포탈은 각 분야의 지식을 표현하는 온톨로지를 구축하고 이를 연결함으로써 검색을 통해 상호 연결된 지식을 검색하도록 지원하여 그와 같은 목표를 달성하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 디스플레이 산업을 모델로 하여 이상과 같은 요구조건을 만족시키는 시맨틱 웹 포탈을 설계하고, 그 과정에서 각기 다른 분야의 지식을 상호 연결하는 온톨로지를 구축하고자 한다. 그리고 온톨로지에 대한 효과적이고 자동화된 검색 및 탐색 방안을 제안함으로써 온톨로지의 구조에 대해 잘 모르는 사용자가 보다 쉽게 원하는 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 지원하고자 한다.

  • 오늘날 지식관리시스템은 효과적으로 지식 프로세스를 지원하고. 다양한 비정형의 지식들을 처리하기 위한 다양한 시도들을 하고 있다. 그러나 지식 검색, 정보 추출, 관리 등에서 근본적인 약점을 갖고 있으며, 다양한 지식 자원들을 통합하고 연동하는데 어려움을 갖고 있다. 이런 한계들을 극복하고 지식관리 방식을 개선하기 위한 다양한 연구들이 시도되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근 주목받고 있는 시맨틱 웹 기술을 적용함으로써 지식관리시스템들이 직면한 한계들을 극복할 수 있는지, 그리고 어떤 장점과 기회들을 얻을 수 있는지 고찰하였다. 그리고 기존 지식관리시스템 아키텍처와 비교하여 변경되는 부분들을 살폈으며. 새로운 시맨틱 지식관리시스템 아키텍처와 향후 전망, 그리고 나아갈 바를 제시하고자 하였다.
