As an acronym for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, SCADA is a concept that is used to refer to the management and procurement of data that can be used in developing process management criteria. The use of the term SCADA varies, depending on location. Conventionally, SCADA is connected only in a limited private network. In current times, there are also demands of connecting SCADA through the internet. The internet SCADA facility has brought a lot of advantages in terms of control, data generation and viewing. With these advantages, come the security issues regarding web SCADA. In this paper, we discuss web SCADA and its connectivity along with the issues regarding security and suggests a web SCADA security solution using asymmetric-key encryption.

A nuclear Power Plant is composed of a number of mechanical components. Maintaining the integrity of these components is one of the most critical issues in nuclear industry. In order to evaluate the integrity of these mechanical components, a lot of data are required including inspection data, geometrical data, material properties, etc. Therefore, an effective database system is essential to manage the integrity of nuclear power plant. For this purpose, an internet based virtual reality environment and web database system was proposed. The developed virtual reality environment provides realistic geometrical configurations of mechanical components using VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language). The virtual reality environment was linked with the web database, which can manage the required data for the integrity evaluation. The proposed system is able to share the information regarding the integrity evaluation through internet, and thus, will be suitable for an integrated system for the maintenance of mechanical components.

소프트웨어 공학 측면에서 웹 기반 프로젝트는 상당히 비효율적인 분야이다. 웹 기반 시스템을 개발하기 위해서는 사용자 인터페이스 디자이너가 먼저 화면 레이아웃을 설계한 후 그 화면의 레이아웃 소스를 가지고 다시 비즈니스 로직 개발자가 코딩을 하여 프로젝트를 완성한다. 유지 보수를 하는 경우에도 이와 비슷한 형태로 작업이 진행된다. 이러한 웹 기반의 소프트웨어 개발 방법은 JSP의 태그 라이브러리와 같은 다양한 형태로 제안되었으나 실제로 적용하는데 여러 가지 문제점이 있으며 기존의 C/S 기반의 소프트웨어 개발에 비해 생산성 측면에서도 매우 좋지 않다. 본 논문에서 제안한 웹 폼 시스템은 기존에 제안된 방법들이 해결하지 못한 사용자 인터페이스 디자인과 비즈니스 로직을 분리하여 웹 기반 소프트웨어의 개발 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

In this paper, we developed on internet based assembly information display system for the blind. The system is consist of hardware and software. The hardware is consist of a voice synthesis device and a tactile display for character information, and the software is consist of internet web browser for the blind and braille program. The tactile-device system consists of a control unit, pin array, pin generator, serial port, and a power supply. The pin exerted by a electromagnetic method, solenoid. The internet web browser separates the character and image from internet web page, and character information in the web page is converted to braille and fed to sound system. Also the image in the web page can be printed developed tactile display. As the results of experiment, the blind could access the internet web site by using this system and understand various internet information.

With the development of information technology (IT), various information systems (IS) such as Web-based systems and mobile systems have appeared utilizing different technologies. However, recent studies on IS use and user satisfaction rarely account for technological differences among IS and environmental characteristics where IS are intended to be used. The purpose of this research is to investigate the determinants of the use of Web-based ticketing systems for cultural activities and to empirically validate their relationships. Environmental psychology suggests that human beings respond to external stimuli from environments with their emotions, and their emotional states influence human actions, e.g., IS use in this research. Applying environmental psychology to the use of Web-based systems in the culture and entertainment industry, we propose that web site characteristics first influence a user's internal state of mind (i.e., flow) and then the flow state influences the IS use. Studies related to the state of flow collectively affirm the key role played by the flow construct in shaping individual attitudes and behaviors toward IS. Users' flow states are captured by their shopping enjoyment, perceived behavioral control, and the level of concentration on the IS use. Referring to social presence theory, we have included such web site characteristics as content quality, context of web site, and community quality. In our research model, a second order construct is utilized to represent web site quality, because flow theory suggests that holistic experiences with web-based systems (rather than individual characteristics of the web site) are important in explaining the IS use. Further, we have included trust as another important factor influencing the IS use since business transactions on the web encompass higher uncertainty comparing to offline transactions. In order to test our hypotheses, we have conducted an online survey which results in 1,141 valid responses in the final sample. The data were collected from respondents who have experiences in Internet ticketing systems. Although it was a convenient sample, the sample represents a wide variety of user demographics. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested and research hypotheses were examined using PLS Graph 3.0. The results indicate that web site characteristics significantly influence the level of user concentration, user's enjoyment in shopping, and perceived behavioral control. Further, the use of Internet ticketing systems is influenced by users' flow states and trust in the web channel. User satisfaction is turned out to be affected by the use of Internet ticketing systems. Unlike extant research on the relationship between web site characteristics and its use, our study has found that, in the culture and entertainment industry, the impact of web site characteristics on IS use is mediated by a user's flow state. This finding has a practical implication that web site design should include as many features that enhance shopping enjoyment and concentration. Other practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

인터넷이 급속도로 발전하고 일반 텍스트 환경의 인터넷 서비스들의 WWW(World Wide Web)환경으로 바뀌어 가면서 쉬운 사용 환경으로 인한 인터넷 응용 서비스의 사용자들도 급속히 증가하고 있다. 따라서, 사용자들이 인터넷을 이용하면서 상대방에게 메시지를 보낼 수 있는 전자 메일 서비스를 이용하는 경우도 크게 증가하고 있다. 웹 기반 전자우편 시스템은 계정과 서비스를 제공하는 서버와 사용자와의 인퍼페이스 역할을 하는 클라이턴트로 구성되며 웹 브라우저가 클아이언트의 역할을 담당한다. 즉. 일반, 메일서버에 계정을 만들수 없는 일반 사용자들이 웹 환경을 통하여 메일서비스를 제공받을 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 웹을 기반으로 하는 전자 우편 시스템을 설계하였으며, 인터넷 익스플로러(Internet Explorer)를 기반으로 하는 사용자 환경과 리눅스 시스템을 기반으로 기존 전자 우편시스템의 문제점을 해결하고 저렴한 가격으로 큰 기대효과를 만족시켰다. 스팸으로 등록된 메일 처리, 다중 메일 처리들을 통한 효율적인 사용자 편의성을 제공하고, 메일의 폭주와 사용자의 급증으로 인한 시스템 저하 현상을 극복하는 효율적인 메일 서비스 엔진을 구현해서 시스템의 안정성을 제공하는 전자 우편 시스템을 개발한다.

The existing remote control system have some inherent disadvantage of direct control in the limit range. In some special cases, for example, a power apparatus, an unmanned factory, a nuclear factory, a security management system, the tele-operation is needed to control remote robot without limit space. This field is based on the Internet communication. Because the Internet is constructed all over the world. And it is possible that we control remote mobile robot in the long distance. In this paper, we developed a remote control system. This system is divided into two primary parts. These are local site and remote site. There are the moving robot and web server in the remote site and there is the robot control device in local site. The moving robot is moved by two stepper motors and the robot control device consists of SA-1100 micro controller and embedded Linux. And this controller is an embedded system. Public personal computer which is connected the Internet is used for the web server. The web server provides the mobile robot control interface program to the remote controller and captures the image for feedback information. In the whole system, a robot control device is connected with moving robot and web server through the Internet. So the operator can control the moving robot in the distance through the Internet.

Recommender systems are a personalized information filtering technology to help customers find the products they would like to purchase. Collaborative filtering is known to be the most successful recommendation technology, but its widespread use has exposed some problems such as sparsity and scalability in the e-business environment. In this paper, we propose a recommendation system, WebCF-PT based on Web usage mining and product taxonomy to enhance the recommendation quality and the system performance of traditional CF-based recommender systems. Web usage mining populates the rating database by tracking customers' shopping behaviors on the Web, so leading to better quality recommendations. The product taxonomy is used to improve the performance of searching for nearest neighbors through dimensionality reduction of the rating database. A prototype recommendation system, WebCF-PT is developed and Internet shopping mall, EBIB(e-Business & Intelligence Business) is constructed to test the WebCF-PT system.

최근 웹 공격 기술의 발달로 인하여 기존 웹 로그 분석에 통한 공격 탐지 기술뿐만 아니라 웹 방화벽 로그, 웹 IDS 및 시스템 이벤트 로그 등과 같이 다수의 웹 관련 감사 자료를 이용하여 웹 시스템에 대한 공격 이벤트를 분석하고 비정상 행위를 탐지할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 웹 서버에서 생성되는 IIS 웹 로그 정보와 웹 방화벽 및 웹 IDS 시스템에서 생성되는 이벤트 로그 정보 등을 이용하여 일차적으로 통합 로그를 생성하고 이를 이용하여 웹 공격을 탐지할 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템은 다중 웹 세션에 대한 분석 과정을 수행하고 웹 시스템 공격과 관련된 연관성을 분석하여 대용량의 웹 로그 및 웹 IDS/방화벽 정보를 대상으로 효율적 공격 탐지 기능을 제공하도록 하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 시스템을 사용할 경우 능동적이고 효율적인 웹 로그 공격 이벤트 분석 및 웹 공격을 탐지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

인터넷의 등장으로 많은 사람들의 다양한 정보를 함께 공유할 수 있도록 되었으며, 사용자들의 요구가 점점 증가되어 어디서든지 인터넷에 접속하여 필요한 정보를 수집하길 원하고 있다. 현재 웹 서비스는 XML에 기반을 둔 플랫폼과 구현언어에 독립적인 컴포넌트 기반의 분산 컴퓨팅 기술로 인터넷 상 분산 애플리케이션 통합 방법의 대표주자로 자리를 잡아가고 있다. 또한, 웹사이트에서 유지, 관리해야 할 컨텐츠의 양은 방대해지고 있고, 컨텐츠의 갱신 주기도 점점 짧아지고 있으며. 웹사이트의 컨텐츠를 보다 효율적이고 편리하게 생성, 유지, 관리하기 위한 시스템 개발이 요구된다. 이에 본 논문은 XML로 작성된 컴포넌트와 JWSDP, 무선인터넷 Server Side Script, WML editor를 활용하여 유$.$무선을 통합한 웹서비스 기능을 제공하는 유무선 통합 서버 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다.
