Internet protocol television (IPTV), one of the most emerging services, offers multimedia streaming services with security, reliability, and relevant quality of service (QoS)/quality of experience (QoE). It provides added values to all the involving players and also brings technical and business challenges to them. For IPTV services, we expect to adopt the next generation network (NGN) environment for high quality and the Web technologies for personalization to meet the customer's necessity. Web can provide an open, flexible, and agile platform. Therefore, in this paper, we propose personalized IPTV services based on Web-based open platform in NGN environment and present functional architecture for Web-based personalized IPTV services. Technical issues for deploying the proposed IPTV services using Web are also provided. The objective of this paper is to analyze the critical architectural issues for developing viable and feasible networking platform models for personalized IPTV services.

Recently, broadcasting companies have been faced with changes in social environment, particularly, the emergence of new media, including the internet, cable TV and DMB, and in the political environment, such as convergence in broadcasting and communications media. To cope with these changes, broadcasting companies are showing increasing interest in building new broadcasting information systems. This study presents how to develop a web-based broadcasting information system for the small and medium-sized broadcasting company. For developing the system, the study describes system configuration, business function relationship diagrams and business flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, major programs, and graphic user interfaces. The newly developed web-based broadcasting information system is expected to increase business productivity to a significant extent through faster decision-making and business execution in and out of the company.

범용 컴퓨터가 아닌 홈 네트워크로 연결된 정보가전용 실시간 시스템에 내장되는 운영체제인 정보가전용 실시간 운영체제는 디지털 TV, 웹 TV, WebPad, PDA, Smart Phone 등에 사용된다. 그러나 정보가전용 실시간 운영체제는 선점형 스케줄링, 멀티 태스킹 및 태스크간 예측 가능한 동기화 방법 그리고 짧고 제한된 인터럽트 처리와 작은 실행 이미지 등과 같은 특징들을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 특징들을 만족하는 정보가전용 실시간 운영체제를 DVD 플레이어에 적용하여 설계 및 구현한 내용을 기술한다.

Unlike in the past, when the demand for web content was increasing and the use behavior of watching short videos was changed, unlike the past when only TV dramas and differentiation were mentioned, web dramas are more firmly established through various attempts. A typical form change is commerce of web dramas. Recently, more and more cases have been produced in the form of product sales by securing real-time functioned, which are disadvantages of commerce, through web dramas. In this trend, web dramas are also increasing interest in product sales. This can be said to be a form developed from the concept of a company's PPL, and the number of companies that use web dramas that predict continuous growth as strategic product promotion and marketing means is continuously increasing. Therefore, this study provides basic data on consumer behavior to collect product information and purchase products using web dramas to companies that are using or considering web dramas, and through this, companies design and establish marketing strategies using web dramas.

In this paper, a remote control system called TeleRemote system which can be applied to existing wireless mobile networks or public telephone networks for remote control is designed and implemented. The proposed design employs program technology based on the theory of signal detect control and enables the EPG(Electronic Program Guide) functions such as recording reservation of bidirectional video signals with TV reception card on PC. It can also control recording reservation using remote control program through telecommunication network The PC-EPG system is implemented in Web programs with Server/Clinet architecture and the server system that provides EPG functionalities is in charge of recording reservations and data communications by means of the scheduler program. Data storing to client PCs is performed through TCP/IP and finished by client programs implemented using Visual C++/MFC programs. As remote control system, the developed system can be used for unmanned security system using the Web camera. Building intranet and making connection to internet, the TeleRemote system is believed to create potential for commercial communication system.

These days as smart TVs or android set top boxes have come into wide use, VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) services such as the Skype which can beused on computer system, can be also accessed by smart TVs or set top boxes. and the various kinds of distance learning programs have been developed on smart TVs or set top boxes. but when users have utilized a webcam with smart TVs or set top boxes, users have to go in front of smart TVs or set top boxes In this research paper, the new technology can be solved the problem of webcam use according to chaned environment. This tech is related with the wireless webcam one which can be applicable to open spaces such as living room with some distance between user and smart TV. There are few problems in long distance the test results show high reliability in living room with some distance.

Recently, digital convergence, whose core demand is OSMU (One Sourse Multi Use),has been the main topic in e-learning domain and industry. However, the existing web learning content and the new resource developed toprovide contents to different learning environment must be processed to adapt the new learning settings, which causes the cost and time problem, So in this paper we design and implement a Java based SCORM content transcoding system which can transcode the SCORM-based learning content into MHP-based DiTV content in order to adapt t-learning environment using DiTV, which is closer to our real life. Using this system which has ability of inter-operation, reuse, highly-use, the problem mentioned above can be solved well. Moreover, it is possible for a learner who is not familiar with computer to study using DiTV instead of PC.

This paper proposes a new internet Web based concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for remote intelligent control. The Experimental LonWorks network system using i·LON Web server is designed and fabricated. It is also verified that the developed control modules with LonTalk protocol have available inter offerable, reliable performance characteristics from the experimental results, Especially, the results provide a available technical data for remote home, building & plant automation control.

As security and surveillance have become the center of interest, remote controlled CCTV(Closed-Circuit Television) market has been formed while rapid development of digital image compression technology and Internet triggered the advent of web cameras. The characteristic of web camera is that it can provide users with higher quality image than CCTV at any place where Internet access is available. However, As for the system administrator, the existing web camera have disadvantage in that they allows users only. who are connected to the server of the web camera, to see the image from it. In this paper, in order to make up for this defect, designed multi-vision interface showing multi images on single screen and, for the purpose of the improvement in efficiency, the functions of saving images and of scheduling the time to save the images.
