The web service companies develop the App support technique of the HTML5 base in the smart media system and smart TV competitively while the Web platform of the HTML5 base is legislated with the next generation national standard. It is essential to the web kernel, which is the common library of the operating system including the file, window, resource and network management is provided in order to support the various app developments of the HTML5 base effectually. Additionally, the web application program can support UI/UX function of the desktop user using the web browser and JavaScript drive and administration, window management function, and etc. is needed.

A Smart TV is the multi TV which have not only function ability of general TV but also web service and application as like smartphone based on internet. In this paper, we suggest the web system for cooking recipes as smart TV application. This system have a game function by simulation and we can enjoy this cooking recipes application as a game.

Coupled schemes between service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web 2.0 have recently been researched. Web-based content providers and telecommunications company (Telecom) based Internet protocol television (IPTV) providers have struggled against each other to accommodate more three-screen service subscribers. Since the advent of Web 2.0, more abundant reproduced content can be circulated. However, because according to increasing device's resolution and content formats IPTV providers transcode content in advance, network bandwidth, storage and operation costs for content management systems (CMSs) are wasted. In this paper, we present a user centric CMS for open IPTV, which integrates SOA and Web 2.0. Considering content popularity based on a Zipf-like distribution to solve these problems, we analyze the performance between the user centric CMS and the conventional Web syndication system for normalized costs. Based on the user centric CMS, we implement a social Web TV with device-aware function, which can aggregate, transcode, and deploy content over social networking service independently.

전자제품의 스마트화 열풍으로 임베디드 시스템의 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 발전이 경쟁적으로 이루어지고 있지만, 하드웨어 발전 속도에 비해 그 활용도는 미진한 편이다. 특히, 스마트 TV 는 대형 스크린을 갖고 있다는 장점이 있고, 사물인터넷 시대의 중추 역할을 할 것으로 기대되기 때문에 많은 계산의 신속한 처리를 요구 받을 가능성이 크다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 webOS 기반 스마트 TV 에서, 계산자원을 충분한 활용하기 위한 병렬처리 가능성을 확인하고자 webOS 시스템을 프로파일링하고 그 결과를 분석하였다.

In recent years, there has been a popularity rose up on Smart TV (Smart Television) usage at home. Therefore, it is also have increase the demand on grid computing system. Smart TV has a variety of platform and usage compare to PC (Personal computer). Base on this, it is difficult to apply a traditional grid system on Smart TV. One major reason are concerning the small idle time compare to PC. To overcome this problem, this paper will propose a Javascript grid system and introducing a new scheduling policy that best suit for a smart TV. We have conduct an experiment on the proposed method. The result provides an average of 1.78 percent, which is improved compare to the traditional method which is only provides an average of 0.09 percent.

An increasing number of people in their lifes have used personal web-casting services as a new type of broadcasting, whose power has grown in the broadcasting market and industry. Nevertheless, limited research concerning personal web-casting has been conducted so far. This research explored consumption structures of personal web-casting users in terms of their genre usage based on the theoretical concept of genre repertoire. And it also examined what determinants have influences on these structures by focusing on as an representative case in South Korea. The findings showed that sensation seeking, motivation for getting information and social presence affect genre repertoire of personal web-casting users. They also indicated that there is a moderating effect of social presence in the relationship between motivation for joy and genre repertoire.

Web series, as one of the products in the network era, are different from traditional TV dramas, With the contents preferred by youngsters, wed series, as a form of fast food culture, are increasingly gaining popularity, such as being uploaded on online video platforms like Naver TV and Youtube. This study aims to examine the characteristics of narrative closure and continuing serial form of Youth Web Series through the youth web series production company "playlist original" in Korea and analyze the narrative structure caused by narrative closure and continuing serial form and nonlinear narratives.

인터렉티브 디지털 TV 는 기존의 텔레비전 기능에 인터넷 기능을 결합함으로써 TV 를 이용한 전자상거래, VOD 서비스, 표적 광고 등을 가능하게 한다. 이와 같은 서비스를 위해서는 TV 용 웹브라우저가 필수적인 응용 프로그램으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 일반 웹 컨텐트의 브라우징 기능 뿐만아니라 디지털 TV 의 데이터 방송 수신 기능이 포함된 디지털 TV 용 웹브라우저의 설계를 소개한다. 본 웹브라우저의 설계에서는 실시간 오디오/비디오 플레이어와의 연결성을 고려하였고 WebPIP, TV오버레이 등을 통한 방송 컨텐트와 웹 컨텐트의 통합 기능이 추가되었다.
