In this paper, we have designed and implemented lamp control system in underground parking place using WWW. The proposed system consists of lamp control system which is connected by RS-485 communication bus and monitoring system (WebPL) which can provide web interface using the web server. The lamp control system is controlled through a user command within the monitoring system (WebPL), senses moving object and turns lamps in underground parking place on or off. The monitoring system displays the status values of on or off received from lamp control system on the web browser and can real-timely control lamps in underground parking place on the web browser.

The paper is a design and implementation of the Hybrid Messaging System as integrating electronic mail system and common mail system based on PKI(Public Key Infrastructure), A user writes mail through Web Browser and sends the mail to Web Server. CGHCommon Gateway Interface) program sends the mail that was received through the Web Sever to Post Office Electronic Mail Server using SMTP(SimpleMail Transfer Protocol), The End Process program of the Hybrid Messaging System in a Post Office fetches the mail from the Post Office Electronic Mail Server using POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3), prints it and deliver it to recipients, Also, the Hybrid Messaging System is able to sign the mail with a sign private key that the Certificate Authority publics for users and encrypts the mail with a public key of the Post Office Web Server.

A product is designed through the collaboration among engineers in several fields such as design, analysis, and manufacturing. These series of functions are performed repeatedly during the design process. An easy access and exchange of the model data is one of the important elements that help to shorten production development time. Especially, the importance of data exchange between CAD and CAE applications is increasing in the field of verification and estimation of the products. However, information and knowledge of model which is generated by a CAD software cannot be transferred by a function of CAE software, as an exchange of product data between CAD and CAE applications. It causes a delay in design analysis and eventually discourages a designer's effort in improving his design. Therefore, we need to integrate a commercial CAD and CAE applications effectively and to use the same interface on a product model obtained in a distributed environment. This paper shows how to implement a model exchange between CAD and CAE by a web-service and how to provide a communication environment among engineers.

This paper refers and implements XML Web services, which supports networked interchanges of moving object information. XML Web services are expected to be fundamental building blocks in the move to distributed computing on the Internet. As an interchange format, GML encodes semantics, syntax, and schema of geospatial and geoprocessing-related information resources. It can give great benefits to utilize raw data easily as an XML encoding format does. This paper proposes a full coverage of interoperable location trajectory services consisting of 3 independent modules: a moving object database, a data processing server, and a web services interface module. For communications, SOAP protocols and WSDL documents are used, which can guarantee an interoperability of a system regardless of different platforms and service channels. This paper also designs a GML data format that represents location information of probe cars.

As, the web technology and the computer hardware have been rapidly evolving, the convenient interface and reality are more important than the transmission time and the execution time. For satisfying these requirements, VRML is the most suitable language to implement virtual reality on the Web. However, it is too difficult for non-expert to use. It is also complicated to reconstruct VRML whenever it changes. In order to resolve these problems, this paper implements VRML Authoring Tool based on the web. Also, this paper analyzes the problem of the existing the cooperating VRML and database system, implements the extended VRML supporting system, and evaluates it with the existing system.

Driven by the explosive expansion and acceptance of the Internet and its multimedia front-end, the Web, a new generation of the modeling and simulation tools have come up with the name of Web-Based Simulation (WBS). Most of WBS libraries inherit its powerful advantages from Java. However, there are cases where explicit specification of models or interface objects is more desirable than the black-box programs. This paper presents an XML-based DEVS (Discrete Event System Specification) markup language for sharing simulation models on the Web. DEVS provides a system-theoretic formalism for the language while XML supports platform-independent data access. This paper focuses on the design of such a language.

인터넷 사용자들의 요구에 부응하기 위해 인터넷 트래픽은 점차 멀티미디어화, 고대역화로 나아가고 있다. 이에 따라 초고속 통신망의 구축이 전 세계적으로 활발히 이루어지고 있으며 고속의 백본망에서 고속 라우터의 중요성이 대두되었다. 고속 라우터는 차세대 인터넷 환경의 핵심장비이며, 고속 라우터를 안정적이며 효율적으로 관리하는 것이 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 아울러 현재 고속 라우터에서 제공하는 다양한 응용 서비스를 효율적이고, 편리한 방법으로 제공할 수 있도록 해주는 망관리 매니저의 역할이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 고속 라우터 시스템의 Web 기반 SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) 망관리 메니저 기능과 EWS(Embedded Web Server)을 이용한 운용자 정합기능을 설계하였다.

In this paper, a web based remote control system located at too dangerous field to access for the worker. The system was designed and implemented for three-dimensional stereo camera connected to web server which can be controlled easily by client side person working in the safe monitoring room. The user in the client side can control the vergence/focus control and zoom-in/out and pan/tilt functions through an user interface. The user interface for remote control environment was designed and implemented with Java applet mechanism, and was tested the operation result of the system.

The present Web surroundings is composed of HTML(Hypertext Mark-up Language) and thereby users obtains web informations mainly in GUI(Graphical User Interface) environment by clicking mouse in order to keep up with hyperlinked informations. However it is very inconvenient to work in this environment comparing with easily accessed one in which human's voice is utilized for obtaining informations. Using VoiceXML, resulted from XML, for supplying the information through telephone on the basis of the contemporary matured technology of voice recognition/synthesis to work out the inconvenience problem, this paper presents the research results about VoiceXML Web Browser designed and implemented for realizing its technology.
