This study analyzed the difference of selection criteria when buying socks and wearing satisfaction related to socks according to demographic characteristics and fashion interest degree for the adults in their from 20s to 40s. Factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan multiple range test were used for data analysis. The result of factor analysis for selection criteria when buying socks showed that the drawn factors were design and coordination, hygiene and wearing comfort and practicality. The difference analysis results about selection criteria when buying socks showed that design and coordination, hygiene and wearing comfort, and practicality were significantly different according to gender, age, and occupation, and that design and coordination and practicality were significantly different according to marital status. The result of difference analysis for selection criteria when buying socks according to fashion interest degree showed that design, coordination, hygiene, wearing comfort and practicality were significantly different. The result of factor analysis for wearing satisfaction of socks showed that the drawn factors were wearing comfort, hygiene, durability, and design. The difference analysis results about wearing satisfaction of socks showed that design was significantly different according to gender and marital status, wearing comfort and design significantly different according to age, wearing comfort, hygiene, and design were significantly different according to occupation. According to fashion interest degree, wearing comfort and design showed the significant difference.

Wearing degree and uneven wearing detection algorithm using horizontal edge information is proposed in this paper. The noise in the input image is removed by bilateral filter, and then edges are extracted from the filtered image by using the proposed mask. As the tire is worn, grooves of tire shoulder or sipes are changed more than the vertical grooves. Therefore the edges from grooves of tire shoulder or sipes have more information about the tire wearing than the edges from vertical grooves. Proposed mask that is reflected this feature is used to extract the horizontal edges. After edge extraction, the edge image is represented in two-level system. The edge pixels of the binarization image are used to decide the wearing degree and uneven wearing. This proposed method can be used easily without any other equipments. The proposed method is conducted with a real vehicle, and the experimental results show the good performance of the proposed method in detecting wearing degree and uneven wearing.

This study investigated the difference of the purchasing realities and the degree of satisfaction of maternity dress according to occupation and age. The purpose of this study was to collect data needed to the maternity dress maker for the better quality of their product and the more comfortable maternity dress wearing of pregnant women. The results of study were as follows. The attitude of purchasing and the degree of satisfaction of maternity dress according to age showed significant differences as follows. First, the dress styles were the significant difference in the kind of formal trousers and casual trousers, one-piece dress, jumper skirt+shirt, vest+trousers. Second, the purchase place was the significant difference in the shop of clothes made, market, maternity dress shop, wearing together. Third, at the purchase time of dress, the satisfactory degree of an appraised standard was the significant difference in the period of wearing, the easiness of exchange and repayment, the wearing numeral degree of other people, price, discount sale, degree of brand recognition, encouragement of other people.

The purpose of this thesis is to conduct research on the degree of satisfaction (for both wearing and functioning) of cycle wear; to present the basic data to develop cycle wears which can lesson the trouble for human body and have an excellent feeling in wearing. To inquire the degree of satisfaction, the method of questionnaire was used for 100 peoples consisted of male cycling players. As the result of the satisfaction degree in wearing, it can be certain that the users are satisfied overall and yet they express the lowest satisfaction at material among material, design, color and function. When it comes to unsatisfactory factors of wearing cycle wear, the most unsatisfactory one is the poor function of clothing on the whole. As the result of the site suitability of cycle wear, we can find the problems on the girth of neck and armhole of the upper garment, and on the part from waist to hip length and the girth from thigh through knee to calf of lower garment. As the result of the motion suitability of cycle wears, we can acknowledge that there are problems on the part of neck, armpit, and abdomen of the upper garment rather than the lower one.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of difference in materials of aerobic wear on both human body's physiological reactions and subjective wearing sensation by comparing and analysing not only cotton sparidex A, B and C but nylon spandex D, E and F used as actually wearing materials. The rectal temperature of type A and I remained at high degree, the type C was higher from after high-speed running but dropped sharply when taking a break finally. Both skin temperature and mean skin temperature dropped sharply due to sweat occurred during physical exercise, and then rose slowly when taking a break. Type A -D and B-I showed that the mean skin temperature remained at high degree when wearing a cotton spandex. Type C's temperature within its aerobic wear was lower than type F while its relative humidity was higher than type F. Wearing sensation showed a change similar to wearing, particularly, which was remarkable in type B-E. Also, it was shown that humidity sensation, tactile sensation and comfort sensation were good when wearing the cotton spandex.

The Purpose of this study was to the basic informations about the wearing stagte according to body satisfaction of the middle aged women. For the research method the actual wearing state of the foundation and the degree of body satisfaction were checked by questionaire survey from 350 middle aged women and analyzed 280 sheets. The results were as follows: 1. At the body satisfaction survey the respondent reply lower score about the girth items especially abdominal girth. According to the body shape and age there were meaningful differences. 2. The actual wearing state of the foundation had meaningful differences according to the body shape and age. The most important was about the fit for their bodies. 3. The most important dissatisfaction was about the fit for their bodies. Also there was meaningful differences according to body shape and age. 4. for the result of the feelings of wearing the foundation the feelings of wearing the girdle were more inconvenient than the feelings of wearing the brassiere Also there were meaningful differences according to the body shape and age. older and obeser women feel more inconvenient.

Objectives : This study was conducted to investigate the actual state of dental hygienist's behavior for infection control during dental practice and radiologic examination and to evaluate the dental hygienist's awareness of the importance of infection control in dental office. Methods : A survey on 218 dental hygienists was carried out. The respondents to complete a questionnaire were the dental hygienists who were in dental office on Gwang-ju area or attended complementary training conducted by the Seoul Branch of Korean Dental Hygienists Association in April 2010. The data were collected and analyzed with $x^2$ test, t-test, ANOVA using SPSS program. Results : The ratios of educational experience for infection control in dental practice and radiologic examination room accounted for 87.6% and 30.3% respectively. Behavior degree of mask-wearing in the dental practice and radiologic examination room were $4.60{\pm}0.70$ and $3.77{\pm}1.09$ respectively. Behavior degree of glove-wearing in the dental practice and radiologic examination room were $4.40{\pm}0.91$ and $3.68{\pm}1.17$ respectively. In case of the relation between educational experience and behavior degree in mask-wearing or glove-wearing, there was no significant difference in the performance of mask or glove wearing during dental practice, and mask-wearing during radiologic examination. However, there was a significant difference (p<0.05) in the performance of glove-wearing during radiologic examination, which revealed that behavior degree between the respondents having educational experience and the others no having it were $3.92{\pm}1.19$ and $3.58{\pm}1.14$ respectively. The surface disinfection control for radiation and protective equipments used in radiologic examination room was done by occasional needs without premeditated schedules. Conclusions : The result of this study shows lower behavior degree during radiologic examination compared with one during dental practice. We suggest that there are needs to raise the awareness of infection control and to improve infection control behavior, and through this study, the importance of education was verified.

This study is purposed to analyze the degree of content and wearing style of fur cloths in order for women to buy them effectively and to wear them contentedly. So scrutinized buying style and wearing condition of fur clothes. To show whether women's buying fur clothes are suitable for their body or not, this study was examined characteristics, sorts, method of fabrication and manufacture, buying pattern and trends of fur clothes. The conclusion from this study examining the degree of possession, decision making of buying and recognition of fur clothes are as followings: 1. When women wears fur clothes, style of fur clothes have nothing to do with their body and height, and women who are 150∼160cm tall content to fur clothes commonly. 2. Condition of buying fur clothes, many 40's women whose only husband earns family's bread belong to fur clothes, and buy them, talking with a husband. Also, according to income a month, and to the ind of a job, in case of a couple's earning family's bread together, women whose whose income is 800,000 to 1,000,000￦ level. 3. Condition of wearing fur clothes, the cause that women feel like wearing fur clothes is as following: economic stability their own pride, and contentment to wear them. Women want to wear those different from fur clothes that they possess, and half coat, because of working conveniently. As the above mention, purchasers recognite the conception of fur clothes for themselves, and buy economically them, and must wear those of which design and style are suitable for body.

There are approximately 1,000 patients who undergo mastectomies each year in Korea. However, there is no company who manufactures mastectomy brassieres and breast prosthesis in Korea. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the wearing conditions of the imported mastectomy brassieres with breast prosthesis and to develop the better-fitted and comfortable mastectomy brassieres in reasonable price. 254 patients participated in this survey. In the results of our survey, 117 out of the 254 patients were wearing mastectomy brassieres and breast prostheses, which have been imported mostly from USA. The degree of satisfaction at wearing mastectomy brassieres was low. The patients generally feel hot when wearing mastectomy brassieres, specially in summer and also pointed out the heavy weight of breast prosthesis and the discomfort in wearing mastectomy brassiere for a long period of time.

This study was performed to analyze the wearing practice and the purchasing characteristics of brassieres in order to offer basic data to produce superior brassiere and to improve the wearing comfort. The questionnaire were 146 Korean college female students. For data analysis, descriptive analysis, crosstabs, factor analysis and one-way ANOVA were used. The results were as follows, first, most subjects didn't know the sizing system of brassiere and their own breast size. So the degree of satisfaction of wearing brassiere was low than subjects who knew their own breast size. And they replied that the most unsatisfaction factor was brassiere size. Second, when subjects decided to purchase a brassiere they considered size, design, color, cost, fabric and brand and so on. Among them size and design were considered the most important. Third, the subjects who wear brassiere all day long, they considered wearing comfort and cost rather than design and collar. Therefore, the markets with brassieres would be able to segmented based on consumers' characteristics. Firth, the subjects were dissatisified at size, the taking off wire and shape modification after washing. And they requested the development of various size, fabric and cost improvement and fittness of brassieres. These results imply that to improve the wearing comfort of brassiere, it is so important to produce and develop various types of size first of all. And consumers should know size system of brassiere and their own breast size.
