Objective: Final goal of nerve advancement therapy is to provide maximum ability to function independently in life to patients. This paper appraises and describes basic concepts of the virtual reality (VR) based exercise program to improve functional movement for neurologically impaired patients. Design: Review article. Methods: Stroke patients from the physical therapy department while wearing comfortable clothing receive therapy and also VR based motion therapy administered by the therapist in charge. After evaluation of stroke patients, therapy includes an exercise program that is suitable for use with stroke patients; stroke patients wear head-mounted display while in front of the computer, where the camera is located; they follow the action on the screen and the computer perceives the operation of the stroke patients according to subject accomplishment. Results: According to obstacle condition of stroke patients using the method, which is various environments after setting, in stroke patients, there is a possibility of presenting suitable therapeutic environments. The display presentation of the method, which is identical, causes difficulty for all stroke patients. According to subject accomplishment; stroke patients result in execution of repetition training and deepening study, which leads to mobility. Conclusions: The VR based rehabilitation training programs is a difference of the existing video training program, is immediate feedback and compensation method. It will provide rehabilitation training services for the family of the patient whose condition could be improved with rehabilitative therapy where it is a continuous circumstance as a matter of the social welfare facility therapy.

Recently, as living standards have improved, many people are becoming more interested in health, and self-training is increasing through exercise to prevent and manage pre-illness. In general, an imbalance of muscles causes asymmetry of posture, which can cause various diseases by accompanying an adjustment force, circulation action, displacement of internal organs, etc.. In this study, the development of fitness software that can be self - training among smart wears has attracted considerable attention in recent years. In this study, a technology was proposed for the commercialization of self - trainer fitness wear by a simulation through Android - based applications. Self - trainer fitness software was developed by combining a conductive polymer, fashion design, sewing, and electric and electronic technology to monitor the unbalance of the muscles during exercise and make smart wear that can calibrate the asymmetry by oneself. In particular, a polymer sensor was fabricated by deriving the optimal MWCNT concentration, and the electrode signal was collected by attaching the electrode to the optimal position, where the electrode signal line using the conductive fiber was designed and attached to collect the signal. A signal module that converts the bio-signals collected through electrical signal conversion and transmits them using Bluetooth communication was designed and manufactured. Self-trainer fitness software that can be commercialized was developed by combining noise cancellation with Android-based self-training application using a software algorithm method.
As the use of TBM increases, research has recently increased to to analyze TBM data with machine learning techniques to predict the exchange cycle of disc cutters, and predict the advance rate of TBM. In this study, a regression prediction of disc cutte wear of slurry shield TBM site was made by combining machine learning based on the machine data and the geotechnical data obtained during the excavation. The data were divided into 7:3 for training and testing the prediction of disc cutter wear, and the hyper-parameters are optimized by cross-validated grid-search over a parameter grid. As a result, gradient boosting based on the ensemble model showed good performance with a determination coefficient of 0.852 and a root-mean-square-error of 3.111 and especially excellent results in fit times along with learning performance. Based on the results, it is judged that the suitability of the prediction model using data including mechanical data and geotechnical information is high. In addition, research is needed to increase the diversity of ground conditions and the amount of disc cutter data.

The present study aimed to investigate rapid weight loss (RWL) and consequent physical and psychological challenges among judo athletes at the national athlete training center in 2017. The following results were obtained. Judo athletes used weight loss methods such as "gradually reduce meal portion," "skip meals," "limit water intake," "wear sweat suit for training," and "use sauna," and had physical and mental distress from such unhealthy weight management practices. Information about weight loss was obtained from "colleagues or senior athletes," "Internet," and "head coach or coach," and not experts such as nutritionists or physicians. Thus, athletes are recommended to employ healthy weight control methods based on advice from experts, such as nutritionists and physicians.

Haptic device can be a useful rehabilitation tool in balance training. The proposed system is composed of a body-wear smartphone, Phantom Omni(R) device, and its control PC system. Ten young healthy subjects performed balance tasks with different postures during 30 seconds with their eyes closed. An Android program on the smartphone transferred mediolateral (ML) and anteroposterior (AP) tilt angles to the PC system, which can generate haptic command through haptic device. Statistical data analysis was performed using MATLAB(R). COP (Center of Pressure) related indexes were measured to see reduction in body sway. ANOVA showed that haptic device significantly reduced body sway. Intuitive balance guidance could be generated using an economical and small-sized commercial haptic device, making the system efficient.

In order to understand the influences of wearing clothings with different thermal insula-tions when men were exposed from $25^{\circ}C$ environment to 18$^{\circ}C$ environment, thermoregulatory responses were measured on 4 healthy female college students. Subjects rested wearing T-shirts, trousers, and socks called LC(total weight 541g) at 25$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 50$\pm$5% R.H. and then exposed to the room conditioned in 18$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$, 50$\pm$5$^{\circ}C$ R.H. with LC as it was(LC Type) or with T-shirts, trousers, socks, training wear upper garment, the training wear lower garment called HC (total weight 1368g)(HC Type) for 120 min. The results can be summarized as follows: 1) When subjects were exposed from $25^{\circ}C$ environment to 18$^{\circ}C$ environment, decrease of rectal temperature was significantly smaller in LC Type than in HC Type. 2)Increase of heat production and weight loss had no significant difference between two types of clothing. 3)Internal thermal conductance was higher in HC Type and external thermal conductance was higher in LC Type. Therefore total thermal conductance was higher in LC Type than in HC Type. 4)Decrease of skin temperature was greater in LC Type than in HC Type. 5)Subjects felt colder with LC Type than with HC Type, but did not feel differently in comfort sensation between two types of clothing. It was suggested that less decrease of rectal temperature in LC type inspite of more dry heat loss from body might be ascribed to a shift of blood from the shell area to the core area originating in the vasoconstriction and the lowered internal thermal conductance. In conclu-sion, the importance of the state of internal heat distribution in the homeostasis seemed to be reaffirmed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of clothing habits wearing cool or warm in daily life on motor ability. A group of ten healthy young females were divided into a cold (C) group and a warm (W) group. From autumn to winter, C group was advised to wear cool clothing, and W group, warm Clothing. The subject's physical fitness were tested in October, initial stage of the clothing training and March of the following year, final stage of the training. The measurements were taken after the subjects rested in a thermoneutral room conditioned at 23$\pm$2$^{\circ}C$ over 1 hour. The test items were weight, skinfold thickness, grip strength (right, left), back-lift strength, vertical jump, sit-ups, Irosmax, side step test, single-foot standing test with eyes closed, and standing trunk flexion. Changes in motor ability of each group between initial stage and final stage of the training were compared. 1. Muscle strength, part of the motor revelation capacity, showed no significant change in the both ,Troops. On the other hand, strength and power showed a decrease in the both groups and C group showed a sharp decrease. 2. Muscular endurance and cardio-pulmonary fitness, part of the motor continuation capacity, were increased after the training and the degree of increase was great in C group. 3. C group showed significant increase in motor coordination capacity including agility, balance, and flexibility after the training, while Wgroup showed significant increases only in balance. 4. Weight and skinfold thickness as a part of the physique showed no significant change.
Previous studies have investigated stepping over obstacles in treadmill walking training (TWT-OS) and treadmill walking training (TWT) alone for walking capacity not considering real physical activity. As such, we investigated the effects of TWT-OS on physical activity and changes in different levels of physical activity based on community ambulation in stroke patients. Thirty subjects were randomly assigned to either the experimental group or the control group, with 15 and 15 subjects, respectively. However, one subject from the control group was excluded because of inadequate treatment sessions. All subjects underwent routine physical therapy in the form of treadmill walking. The subjects in the experimental group underwent simultaneous training in obstacle-stepping while walking on the treadmill for 30 min/day, five times/week, for four weeks. Subjects were given a three-axis accelerometer to wear at the hip on a belt for one-week pre- and post-training physical activity. Step counts for seven days, average daily step counts, and the average of minutes spent in sedentary, light, and above moderate activity were chosen as outcome measures of physical activity. No significant differences between the groups were found in terms of step counts for seven days, average daily activity, or daily activity spent at sedentary levels after four-week interventions. However, the average daily activity spent at light levels (-42.60 min vs. -6.71 min) was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the controls. Conversely, average daily activity spent at above moderate levels was higher (19.86 min vs. 11.07 min) (p<.05) after adjusting for each baseline value. Significant pre- and post-training differences were found in all variables of the experimental group (p<.05). Thus, TWT-OS could improve physical levels above moderate activity as a community-oriented task more than simple repetitive waking on a treadmill, and it could provide an opportunity for patients ambulatory after stroke to participate in the community again.
The purpose of this study is to examine, specifically, the external and internal characteristics of anti-fashion expression in the Korean student movement after the 1945 Liberation. The dress expressed in the student movement represented the purity of student and characterized resistance, and this character expressed strongly in 80s, faded from middle of 90s. Until the 60s, the student movement was not characterized by, so activist students wore dress and suits. It symbolized students as an elite group of society. They added on head-bands to express resistance. In the 70s, activist students wore school uniforms, school military training wear, blue jeans and loose shirts in demonstrations. They tried to express re-bellion against the government and the older gen-eration. In the 80s, the period was remarkably distingusihing by the economic growth at that time. Activist students wore T-shirts with Korean letters and popular paintings specially made, Korean costumes, wrapped in the Taggeuki (Korean national flag), and refused wear on jeans because of anti-Americanism. They also wore masks, muffled their faces, and got their heads shaved. These anti-fashions are very strong expressions for the national independence spirit, national traditional heitage, anti-foreign power and anti-American. In the early 90s, activist students wore reformed Korean costumes specially made group uniforms, after that they wore casual everyday clothes with caps. They tried to express remarkable resistance in the early 90s, but after the mid-90s expression of resistance weakened and faded, so there was no distinction between activist and non-activist. There are the reasons why the student movement changed after the peaceful transfer of political power.
The purpose of this thesis is to make an effective Korean Hip Hop culture and suggest a new style direction in classifying the types of fashion styles of the Hip Hop musicians and studying their features. They are surveyed in stage costumes, hair styles, make-ups, accessaries, and total fashion styles, and then classified into Normal Hip Hop Style, Casual Hip Hop Style, Sporty Hip Hop Style, Mix & Match Hip Hop Style, and Classical Hip Hop Style. The results of the study are as follows: First, Normal Hip Hop Style is the most general and universal Hip Hop fashion type. They wear clothes in bigger sizes and exaggeratively. And also a cornrow hair style, a tattoo, and a piercing represent marked individualities. Second, Casual Hip Hop Style is more active and practical than Normal Hip Hop Style. Their blue jeans and T-shirts express more simple and polished style. And also they make variable fashion styles and hair styles such as a cornrow hair and a buzz cut. Third, Sporty Hip Hop Style is from B-boy's clothes when they do active and violent break dancing. As NBA basketball games are popular, they wear training clothes, breeches, big T-shirts, and jumpers & caps on embroidered sport team's names. Their hair style is short or natural and also they have caps or hoods to present active mood. Fourth, Mix & Match Hip Hop Style is existed variable elements in one style. The typical type of this style is jacket & blue jean. It is characterized by dress shirts, neck ties, blue jeans, sneakers, beards, and moustaches. Fifth, Classical Hip Hop Style is from African Americans. They try to express assimilated appearance of Anglo-Saxons. They wear black suits, shoes, hats, and sunglasses to represent formality and elegance. In the above results, there are variable fashion styles in one Hip Hop music genre and also fashion style is changed with musical inclination. This thesis is an important guide to produce variable and creative Hip Hop fashion styles in Korean Hip Hop culture.
