Die steel for plastic molding were used as mold material of automobile parts and electronic component industry. The material of this paper has superior to mechanical properties, such as repair weldability, corrosion resistance and high temperature strength, required mold parts for semitransparent. Laser-induced surface hardening technology is widely adopted to improver fatigue life and wear resistance via localized hardening at the surface of mold parts. The objective of this research work is to investigate on the characteristics of surface hardening of the laser process parameters, such as beam travel speed, laser power and defocsued spot position, for the case of die steel for plastic molding. Lens for surface hardening of large area is plano-convex type with elliptical profile to maintain uniform laser irradiation. According to the experimental results, large size of hardened layer at the surface of die steel for plastic molding was achieved, and microstructure of this layer was lath martensite. Optimal surface status and mechanical property of hardened layer could be obtained at 1095Watt, $0.25{\sim}0.3m/min$, 0mm (focal length: 232mm) for laser power, beam travel speed, and focal position. Where, heat input was $0.793{\times}10^{3}J/cm^2$, and width of hardened layer was 27.58mm.

본 연구에서는 노화에 따른 노년 여성 체형을 보정해주고 체형변화를 지연시킬 수 있는 보정용 ZIGTECHnology 의복을 개발하고자 하였다. 척추의 만곡 등 노화 및 질병에 의해 발생하는 어깨, 등, 허리의 굽어짐 등의 증상별 체형을 분석하여 증상을 완화시키고 체형의 변화를 지연시킬 수 있는 움직임이 용이한 노년 여성용 보정 의복을 개발 제시하고자 하였다. 개발된 ZIGTECHnology 의복 디자인 1, 2, 3에 대한 착의 평가 결과, 기능성에서는 디자인 1이 등각도를 3.17° 정도 완화시켜 우수한 것으로 평가되었으나 맞음새 등을 고려하였을 때 디자인 3이 가장 우수한 것으로 평가되었다. 노년 여성의 의복에서는 신체적 단점을 보완해주는 의복의 필요성이 증대되므로 지속적인 체형완화 장치의 개발이 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

기계부품의 세라믹 코팅 층은 사용 중 그 표면특성이 변하므로 잔류수명 예측과 신뢰성 확보를 위해 비파괴적으로 세라믹 코팅 층의 특성을 평가하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 이를 위해 본 인구는 AISI 1045 강과 오스테나이트 스테인리스 304 강 모재위에 매우 얇은 TiN 세라믹 층을 코팅한 시편에 내하여 누설 레일리(Rayleigh) 표면파를 이용한 TiN 코팅부재의 특성평가를 시도하였다. 후방복사 측정기법으로 코팅 층 내의 표면파의 전파특성이 평가되었고 표면 거칠기, 코팅 층 두께, 마모조긴 둥이 다양한 시편들에 대해 후방복사 프로파일이 측정되었다. 후방복사 프로파일의 정점각과 크기는 시편의 조건들에 따라 민감하게 변하였고, 정점각의 증가는 코팅 층 접합 강도의 저하로 설명되었다. 결과들은 후방복사 기법을 이용한 표면파의 분산성 평가가 코팅 층의 특성 평가에 매우 유용함을 보여주었다.

This study aims to provide definitions and standardization for necessities that elderly people can use conveniently and properly in their daily lives and classify necessities for different purposes. First, standard terminologies were defined by reviewing the literature and the relevant laws related to daily necessities for the elders. Secondly, a concept for necessities for the elders was also defined through consultation with experts. Lastly, the elderly's necessities were selected and classified. The elderly's necessities are defined as aids that ordinary elderly people in normal aging process need for the purpose of the convenience of life and aids they wear or use to maintain or improve their health. In this study, the elderly's necessities are divided into three categories: necessities of health, necessities of Oriental medical aids and necessities of daily living. Each category is further classified as follows: Necessities of health include aids for personal medical treatment, aids for personal care and protection and aids for recreation. Necessities of Oriental medical aids include aids for personal medical treatment, aids for personal care and protection and others. Necessities of daily living include aids for personal care and protection, aids for personal mobility, aids for housekeeping, furnishings, aids for communication, information and signalling, aids for handling products and goods and aids for recreation. The classification of the elderly's necessities in this study can be used as basic information for further studies of demand for necessities for the elderly. The results will lay the foundation for a standardization system for the elderly's necessities and the development of silver industry.

The purposes of this study were to research 1) the background of origination, 2) the process of development and 3) the influences to modern clothing culture of American sportswear. The most Influential sportswear designers in America from beginning period to present : such as Claire McCardell, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan were selected to study their life and achievements in the world sportswear market. The Results were as follows : 1) World War I & II have caused the greatest changes to modern history America became the center of world economy, society and culture. Politically, they have influenced democracy world-wide and raised the social status of women. The free American women enjoyed sports, Jazz drinking and car-driving. The advanced technology have accelerated mechanization and mass-production to the fashion industrv. 2) The above historical backgrounds have caused to change women's clothing to casual, practical and simple form. Dorothy Shaver at Lord & Taylor began promoting American designers who created the original American spirit. Claire McCardell created the seperated American sportswear to become world-wide fashion. Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, the sportswear designers who have the unique American feeling have come to have riches and fames equal to the top designers in Paris. 3) The American sportswear and fashion industry influenced Paris Mode, the traditional Haute Couture to open Pret-a-porter-a-porter. The concept of seperated coordination in American sportswear have promoted the advanced marketing techniques and merchandising systems to modern ready-to-wear industry. Fashion in 1980s have increased the mutual interdepedence between the American sportswear industry and the creative Paris Mode. And then, the fashion world in 1990s and 21C will be changed and developed on the basis of American sportswear mechanism.

This study is aimed at finding out the self-perception and value of clothing they wear to today's businessmen who work in a fast-growing global network society and for developing a suitable image consulting program for businessmen. The purpose of this study is to categorize businessmen into personality types, and then analyzing purchase behaviors for clothing and image perception, self-image satisfaction among categorized groups. The participants of this study are 320 businessmen who are from 20's to 50's and working in Seoul. A total of 302 questionnaires were used for the survey of this study. The questionnaire is composed of 3 different parts as follows: 1) personality types, 2) purchase behaviors for clothing and image perception, 3) self-image satisfaction. The methods of this study are frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, variance analysis, cluster analysis, t-test and reliability analysis. In conclusion, an image consulting education program for businessmen has to be based on one's own personality type, current fashion style and image perception. Each person has to be provided a unique direction to increase his self satisfaction, which will result in improvements in both personal image satisfaction and social satisfaction. These changes will ultimately become the driving force of career life.

The objectives of this study are to identify the self-image and preferred fashion styles that Korean career women seek in different daily situations, and to propose a positioning map in accords with the findings. The study conducted a survey and in-depth interviews. The study used twenty items of self-image adjectives extracted from existing studies, and eighteen fashion style stimuli collected by examining women's wear brands. The study surveyed 329 career women. Their daily situation was classified into five situations; external meeting and presentation, ordinary work, wedding and family gathering, blind date or date, and meeting with friends and acquaintances. The analysis results of this study showed that self-image and fashion style preferences are relevant to daily situation. The image most sought in external meetings and presentation was the 'Elegant' image, and the image most sought in meetings with friends and acquaintances was the 'active' image. Women on dates or blind dates sought the 'feminine' image the most, however they preferred to avoid this image during external meetings and presentations. Among fashion styles, the 'elegant/classic' style was most preferred, and the 'sexy/avant-garde' style had the lowest preference among all the styles. 'Mannish' was preferred in ordinary work and meeting with friends and acquaintances, however, it was shown as having the lowest preference level in blind dates or dates. The 'romantic/natural' style was highly preferred in meeting with friends and acquaintances, however it had a low level of preference for external meetings and presentations. This study has significance in providing practical information to utilize in fashion industry by identifying the relationship between self-image and preferred fashion style sought by career women according to daily situation, and using the results to propose a positioning map.

This study conducted a survey and investigated students' opinions and design preferences to physical education (PE) uniforms for elementary, middle and high school students using PE uniforms for the following purposes: to increase satisfaction with PE uniforms; present basic data for the development of PE uniforms helping to improve the quality of school life; and propose the development direction of PE uniforms. PE uniforms shall be developed with the components of uniforms, symbolism, functionality and aesthetics. The symbolism of PE uniforms expresses the affiliations of people wearing them and makes them have a sense of affiliation. The functionality presents convenience in students' physical activities and intramural/extracurricular activities. The aesthetics reflects the aesthetically sophisticated sport wear trend in PE uniforms. The development direction of PE uniforms was organized based on the result of analyzing and investigating students' opinions and design preferences to PE uniforms. There were differences in students' opinions and preferences to PE uniforms according to the type of student groups (elementary, middle and high school). In addition, there were clear gender-differences in the same student group. An effort might be required to reflect students' preferences because PE uniforms which students had currently worn at school had been manufactured without the reflection of students' opinions.

항공기 등에 사용되는 Flexible PTO(Power Take-Off) 샤프트는 스프링 특성을 좋게 하기 위해 여러장의 얇은 멤브레인을 용접한 형태로 1950년대에 이미 개발됐으며, AMAD(Aircraft Mounted Accessory Drive) 기어박스와 EMAD(Engine Mounted Accessary Drive) 기어박스 사이에서 회전동력을 전달한다. 이런 종류의 샤프트는 가볍고 특히 스프링 특성이 좋기 때문에 축 정렬이 틀어진 고속회전 상태에서도 안정적으로 회전동력을 전달할 수 있어 대부분의 전투기에 사용된다. 이번 연구에서 티타늄 합금으로 개발된 Flexible PTO 샤프트의 구조해석을 통해 제품의 안전성을 확인하였고, 실제 실험실에서 진행된 고속회전 시험에서 굽힘과 비틀림 부하를 동시에 인가하여 샤프트의 고주기 피로에 대한 내성을 실증하였다. 또한, 고주기 피로 시험 조건에서 항공기용 볼 조인트의 마모 특성 분석을 통해 수명을 예측하였다.

The purpose of this study is to survey the system of the Korean Shaman's costume and its formative character and to find out the symbolic meaning of it. This study focuses on a shaman's costume in Seoul-Gut Seoul-Gut belongs to 'Gangsin-mu' Therefore a shaman's costumes in Seoul-Gut remains even today. Korean shamanistic ritual is gut. Its basic structure generally consists of 12 'Geori(a process is made up Gut)' In Gangsin-mu a shaman changes his/her spirit's costumes in each Geori so that a shaman's costumes means the spirit. The shaman's costumes of 12-Geori in Seoul-Gut has only 5 or 6 kinds be-cause shamans wear the same costume when the spirit's characters are similar with each other. Therefore shaman's costumes in Seoul-Gut are consistsof Poungsangbok pulsajang-sam cjulik Kugunbok Monduri and Wonsam There are some differences between modern shaman's costumes in Seoul-Gut and traditional costume in the basic pattern and the wearing method,. Modern shaman's costumes in Seoul-Gut has become simpler in the basic pattern and more gergeous in the color or adornment and more various in the kinds of shaman's costume than that of Yi Dynasty. This tendency in modern shaman's costumes reflects modernized folk's viewpoint in dress. which thinks highly of their individuality and function and variety in it. Korean shaman's costumes means the extintion of the earthly world and symbolizes the holy symbolizes the holy symbolizes the spirits character, Ying Yang Theory and represents shaman's wishes. The wishes are the desire of prefection and stability in this world the desire of ideal love and rebirth and the desire of lofty life in this world.
