Two-way shape memory effect(TWSME) under residual stresses are considered in the present study. The structure using two-way shape memory alloy(SMA) concept returns to its initial shape by increasing or decreasing temperature under the initially given residual stress. In the present study, we use a thermo-mechanical constitutive equation of SMA and laminated composite plates are considered as simple morphing structural components which are based on first order shear deformable laminated composite plate with large deflection. Numerical results of fully coupled SMA-composite structures are presented

To remove nitrogen oxides(NOx) in exhaust gas of diesel engine three-way catalytic process with plasma discharger has great possibilities. Characteristics of NOx removal depends on NO conver-sion to $NO_2$ and /or $HNO_3$ due to high activation energies for NO oxidation and reduction, NOx removal efficiency by using three-way catalytic with plasma discharger indicated about 50% at 40watt power consumption condition.

A major goal of the proposed Korean Neutrino Detector and Telescope is to detect neutrino burst from core-collapse supernova (SN) explosions in the Milky Way, which will provide an unprecedented opportunity to look into the core of an exploding massive star. Detection with high statistics would give important information for the explosion physics. It can also detect neutrino signals from SN events in the Local Group and trigger alert of the event for the astronomical community. In this talk, I will review the SN rates of the Milky Way and the Local Group, and will discuss the implications for the proposed neutrino telescope.

기존의 무선 랜의 보안상의 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 사용자와 인증자사이의 상호인증과 키를 교환하는 메커니즘이 요구된다. 이것을 보안하기 위해 IEEE 802.11i에서 키 체계와 4-Way Handshake를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 언급되는 키 생성 및 교환 메커니즘은 사용자와 서버간의 인증된 마스터키를 통한 사용자와 인증자의 상호인증과, 키 생성과 키 교환하는 방법에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이러한 키를 생성하기 위한 Pairwise 키 체계와 키 교환을 위한 4-Way Handshake, 4-Way Handshake에서 사용되는 EAPOL-Key message에 대하여 분석하였다.

Many procedures for deriving the Moore-Penrose invese $X^+$ have been developed, but the explicit forms of Moore-Penerose inverses for design matrices in analysis of variance models are not known heretofore. The purpose of this paper is to find explicit forms of $X^+$ for the one-way and the two-way analysis of variance models. Consequently, the Moore-Penerose inverse $X^+$ and the shortest solutions of them can be easily obtained to the level of pocket calculator by way of our results.

In the problem of estimating the error variance in the balanced fixed- effects one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) model, Ghosh (1994) proposed hierarchical Bayes estimators and raised a conjecture for which all of his hierarchical Bayes estimators are admissible. In this paper we prove this conjecture is true by representing one-way ANOVA model to the distributional form of a multiparameter exponential family.

For estimating the error variance under the relative squared error loss in two-way analysis of variance models, we provide a class of hierarchical Bayes estimators and then derive a subclass of the hierarchical Bayes estimators, each member of which dominates the best multiple of the error sum of squares which is known to be minimax. We also identify a subclass of non-minimax hierarchical Bayes estimators.

This paper considers a linear regression model with space and time data in where the disturbances follow spatially correlated error components. We provide the best linear unbiased predictor for the one way error components. We provide the best linear unbiased predictor for the one way error component model with spatial autocorrelation. Further, we derive two diagnostic test statistics for the assessment of model specification due to spatial dependence and random effects as an application of the Lagrange Multiplier principle.

Arvesen (1969) has shown a procedure which produces an approximate confidence interval for a variance component in unbalanced one-way classification model. In this paper, his work is extended to the case when the model of interest is unbalanced two-way classification. Following the procedure described in this paper, approximate confidence intervals are computed by a Monte Carlo simulation.

Main purpose of this article is to consider the asymptotic distribution of the rank transformed F statistic for interaction in a two-way layout. Some theorems and sufficient conditions are derived to have the rank transformed F statistic converged in distribution to a chi-squared random variable with (I-1)(J-1) degrees of freedom divided by (I-1)(J-1). These results will be useful for the other theoretical studies of the rank transform procedure in experimental designs.
