波形壁 流路내에서 凝縮이 수반되는 超音速유동에 대한 硏究 (The Study of Supersonic Flow with Condensation Along a Wavy Wall in a Channel)

  • The characteristics of supersonic flow with condensation along a wavy wall of a small Smplitude in a channel is investigated experimentally and numerically. In the present study for the case of supersonic moist air flow, the dependency of location of reflection of oblique shock wave generated by the wavy wall, and the distributions of flow properties in the flow field, on the stagnation relative humidity and temperature is clarified by the plots of streamline, iso-Mach number and iso-flow properties of numerical result and the schlieren photographs of experiment. And. experimental and numerical results are in good agreement.

  • 본 논문에서는 포물선 형상의 팽창부로 설계된 이차원 노즐(M=3)에 톱니 형태의 대칭 및 비대칭 파동 채널을 교대로 설치하여 원형 음속 노즐에서 발생하는 추력과의 추력편차를 측정함으로써, 두 파동 벽면 내에서 일어나는 조파저항의 공진현상을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 미소진폭의 파형벽을 가진 유로내에 응축성 기체인 습공기가 초음속으로 흐르는 경우의 유동에 대하여 정체점에서의 상대습도와 온도의 변화에 따 른 유동장내의 상태량의 변화와 경사충격파의 거동 등을 2차원 수직해석을 통하여 규 명하였다.

  • 파형벽면이 존재하는 채널유동에 대한 난류열전달이 난류모델에 의해서 조사되었다. Park et at.[1]의 비선형 k- f - f$_{모델이 수정되었고, 외재적인 비선형 열유속모델이 사용되었다 선택된 레이놀즈수는 Re$_{b}$ =6760이고 형상변화 (0 $\leq$ $\alpha$/$\lambda$$\leq$0.15 and 0.25 $\leq$A/H$\leq$4.0.)에 따른 열전달을 조사하였다. 모델의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 큰에디모사법이 선택된 경우에 수행되었다. 큰에디모사법의 결과와 비교할 때 모델성능은 일반적인 경향을 잘 예측하였다. 비선형 k- $\varepsilon$ - f$_{모델을 이용하여 파형벽면에 의한 열전달의 증가 특징과 형상의 영향이 조사되었다.

파형 습식클러치의 드래그 토크 저감을 위한 파형내 유로 위치 설정 설계 연구 (A Study on the Flow Path Position Design of Waviness Friction Pad for Drag Torque Reduction in Wet Type DCT)

  • Drag torque reduction in a wet clutch pack is a key aspect of the design process of the dual clutch transmission (DCT) system. In order to reduce the drag torque caused by lubricant shear resistance, recently developed wet clutch pack systems of DCT, as well as automatic transmission and other four-wheel drive (4WD) couplings, frequently utilize wavy wet clutch pads. Therefore, wavy shape of friction pad are made on the groove patterns like waffle pattern for the reduction of drag torque. Additionally, the groove patterns are designed with larger channels at several locations on the friction pad to facilitate faster outflow of lubricant. However, channel performance is a function of the waviness of the friction pad at the location of the particular channel. This is because the discharge sectional area varies according to the waviness amplitude at the location of the particular channel. The higher location of the additional channel on the friction pad results in a larger cross-sectional area, which allows for a larger flow discharge rate. This results in reduction of the drag torque caused by the shear resistance of DCTF, because of marginal volume fraction of fluid (VOF) in the space between the friction pad and separator. This study computes the VOF in the space between the friction pad and separator, the hydrodynamic pressure developed, and the shear resistance of friction torque, by using CFD software (FLUENT). In addition, the study investigates the dependence of these parameters on the location and waviness amplitude of the channel pattern on the friction pad. The paper presents design guidelines on the proper location of high waviness amplitude on wavy friction pads.

2차원 파형 채널의 형상변화에 따른 열유동 특성 (Thermo-Hydraulic Characteristics of Two-Dimensional Wavy Channels with Different Shape Parameters)

  • 본 연구에서는 2차원 파형 채널의 여러 형상($0.5{\leq}{\in}{\leq}1.5$, $0.1{\leq}{\gamma}{\leq}0.4$)에 대한 층류 열유동 수치해석을 수행하고, 형상변화에 따른 열유동특성을 비교 분석하였다. 전자장비 냉각용으로 적용되고 있는 PAO(Polyalphaolefin)를 작동유체로 고려하였고, 균일한 물성치와 주기적으로 발달한 유동 및 채널벽면에서의 등온 조건을 가정하였다. 층류유량조건($1{\leq}Re{\leq}1000$)에서 레이놀즈수에 따른 유선 및 온도 분포, 등온 Fanning 마찰계수, Colburn 계수를 제시하였고, 분석 결과 낮은 레이놀즈(Re<50) 구간에서는 채널주름비가 크고 채널간격비가 작을수록, 높은 레이놀즈($Re{\geq}50$) 구간에서는 채널주름비와 채널간격비가 모두 클수록 열전달이 향상되었다.

  • The objectives of this paper are to study the characteristics of heat transfer and pressure drop of the micro channel heat exchangers using diffusion bonding technology. Four types of heat exchangers are designed and manufactured, which are straight type, long dot type, splited wavy type and straight double side type. Heat transfer and pressure drop performance of each heat exchangers are measured in various operating conditions, and compared each other. The results show that the $(j/f)^{1/3}$ performance of splited wavy type and long dot type increases about 10.3% and 6.1% at the Reynolds number 470 compared to that of straight type, respectively. On the other hand, $(j/f)^{1/3}$ performance of straight double side type decreases 19.7%.

A Comparison Study Between Navier-Stokes Equation and Reynolds Equation in Lubricating Flow Regime

  • For practical calculations, the Reynolds equation is frequently used to analyze the lubricating flow. The full Navier-Stokes Equations are used to find validity limits of Reynolds equation in a lubricating flow regime by result comparison. As the amplitude of wavy upper wall increased at a given average channel height, the difference between Navier-Stokes and lubrication theory decreased slightly : however, as the minimum distance in channel throat increased, the differences in the maximum pressure between Navier-Stokes and lubrication theory became large.
