Passive optical networks (PONs) will be the pervasive choice in the design of next-generation access networks. One possible solution to implementing Passive optical access network is to rely on wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM). In this paper, we solve the problem of providing real-time service to both hard and soft real-time messages in conjunction with a conventional vest-effort service in WDM. we propose an adaptive scheduling algorithm to schedule and manage the message transmissions in the optical access network. Proposed algorithm is MLF-MQF. Also, we suggest dynamic bandwidth algorithm(DBA) in Loop-back WDM-PON (LPB-PON).our mechanism based on bandwidth reservation protocol.

In this paper, we introduce a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective switchless wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) network based on a quality-of-service supporting reservation-based medium access control (MAC) protocol. The protocol not only provides both packet and circuit switching but also supports multicasting. The network efficiency is significantly increased by spatially reusing wavelengths and exploiting multiple free spectral ranges (FSRs) of arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) employed in the architecture. We have demonstrated the feasibility of this architecture by simulating in $Optsim^{TM}$.

In this paper, We analyzed the protocol to improve the performance of the multicast traffic processing in WDM networks. In the protocol, control channels are devided into contention-less minislots and contention minislots. And the packets which fail to have successful reservation in the present time slot have priority to have successful reservation in the contention-less minislots of the next time slot. Therefore, control channel contentions and destination conflicts can be reduced with the use of contention-less minislots. For the multicast traffic processing, the theoretical analysis and computer simulation are important to estimate the network performance and to calculate the optimized number of contention-less minislots. In this paper, the state transition probability of the number of contention-less minislots and arrival packets are calculated using 4-dimension matrix. The maximum number of contention-less minislots is equal to the number of channels for maximum performance improvement of the system. It is theoretical analysis and prove to computer simulation the performance of the protocol.

Low power laser therapy is internationally certified and is known to be effective in stimulating DNA in living organisms, increasing protein synthesis and activating cell division, smoothing blood circulation, promoting cell activation, cell regeneration and function. It also has anti-inflammatory, anti-edemic, anti-fibrous dysplastic and neuralogic hyperfunctional effects. This study was intended to verify the effect of LED irradiation therapy on wound healing in cell and animal tests by applying LED irradiator using a laser and laser diode, which was independently designed and developed to emit beams of similar wavelength to that of a laser. This equipment was fabricated using a micro-controller and a high brightness LED, and designed to enable us to control light irradiation time, intensity and reservation. In case of cell proliferation experiment, each experiment was performed to irradiation group and non-irradiation group for tissue cells. MTT assay method was chosen to verify the cell increase of two groups and the effect of irradiation on cell proliferation was examined by measuring 590 nm transmittance of micro-plate reader. In the wound healing experiment, 1$cm^2$ wounds on the skin wound of SD-Rat(Sprague-Dawley Rat) were made. Light irradiation group and none light irradiation group divided, each group was irradiated one hour a day for 9 days. As a result, the cell increase of tissue cells was verified in irradiation group as compared to non-irradiation group. And, compared with none light irradiation group, the lower incidence of inflammation and faster recovery was shown in light irradiation group.
In this paper, n study a distributed establishment scheme to setup lightpath in WDM/TDM Network considering user traffic characteristics. We propose a GBTA(guaranteed-bandwidth time-slot allocation) algorithm which assigns time-slots according to the requred traffic so that it can utilize given network resources efficiently in RWTA(routing and wavelength time-slot assignment) schemes. We consider traffic specification on the basis of ATM traffic classes. Also, in order to increase link utilization and minimize blocking probability, we extend distributed lightpath establishment protocol based on GBTA algorithm. In order to establish lightpath in distributed WDM/IDM network, we use backward resonation protocol that resewes resource with recent information. We use DOWTns(Distributed Optical WDM/TDM ns) that is extended from NS(Network Simulator), in order to verify proposed GBTA-based optical wavelength routed network.

Optical burst switching(OBS) is a promising solution for building terabit optical routers and realizing If over WDM. Channel scheduling Algorithm for reduce contention is one of the major challenges in OBS. We address the issue of how to provide basic burst channel scheduling in optical burst switched WDM networks with fiber delay lines(FDLs). In OBS networks the control and payload components or a burst are sent separately with a time gap. If CHP arrives to burst switch node, because using scheduling algorithm for data burst, reservation resources such as wavelength and transmit data burst without O/E/O conversion, because contention and void between burst are happened at channel scheduling process for data burst that happened the link utilization and bust drop probability Existent proposed methods are become much research to solve these problems. Propose channel scheduling algorithm that use Release Time of bust to emphasize clearance between data and data dissipation that is happened in data assignment in this treatise and maximize bust drop probability and the resources use rate (RTUC : Release Time Unscheduled Channel). As simulation results, Confirmed that is more superior in terms of data drop and link utilization than scheduling algorithm that is proposed existing. As simulation results, confirmed improved performance than scheduling algorithm that is proposed existing in terms of survival of burst, efficiency resource and delay. However, In case load were less, degradation confirmed than existent scheduling algorithm relatively, and confirmed that is superior in data drop aspect in case of load increased.

Optical burst switching networks usually employ one-way reservation by sending a burst control packet with a specific offset time, before transmitting each data burst Same. Due to such a Property, burst-contentions occur when multiple bursts contend for the same wavelength in the same output link simultaneously in a node, leading to burst losses, eventually degrading the quality of service. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a dynamic routing algorithm using minimum local state information in order to decrease burst-contentions. In this proposed scheme, if burst loss rate exceeds a threshold value at a certain node, a new alternative routing path is chosen according to burst priority and location of burst generation, which enables the contending bursts to detour around the congested link. Moreover, for reducing the effect of sending bursts on the primary path due to the alternative path, we also apply a minimum path-cost based routing on link-cost concept. Our simulation results show that proposed scheme improves the network performance in terms of burst loss probability and throughput by comparing with conventional one.

Network is expected to be developed into optical Internet network collected IP layer and optical layer, but GMPLS is risen at the transitional evolution stage because of the present technology level. GMPLS that MPLS is extended and generalized is able to support not only the packet switching device but also the devices which perform switching in time, wavelength, and space domain. To implement the common control plane to these various switching types, GMPLS extends the existing MPLS signaling and routing protocol. In this paper, we describe the overview of GMPLS technology, and then we will refer to the OSPF(Open Shortest Path First), which was used to exchange the status information of link, as the plan of routing extension to exchange the information of various link type, bandwidth, link protection type etc. And also, we describe the definition of new protocol, so called, LMP that is a signaling protocol for solving complex problem which manages hundreds and thousands of links between two nodes. And we will examine and analyze the plan of signaling protocol extension to apply signaling protocol RSVP-TE(Resource Reservation Protocol) for traffic engineering in MPLS to network, and the message objects and formats associated with modified RSVP.

Optical Burst Switched (OBS) networks usually employ one-way reservation by sending a burst control packet (BCP) with a specific offset time, before transmitting each data burst frame (BDF). Therefore, The quality of service may be degraded because contentions may lead to loss of BDFs. Especially, this phenomenon becomes more serious when burst size is longer. This necessitates an effective method of prevention to avoid burst collision in nodes. OBS networks can employ several methods to avoid such burst losses. One is that burst size is cut short to reduce burst loss probability during scheduling time. In this paper, we evaluate the burst generation and transmission using Sub-Carrier Multiplexting (SCM) in OBS networks. We propose an appropriate burst assembly architecture and transmission scheme based on SCM in OBS networks. The performance of SCM in OBS networks is examined in terms of number of Sub-Carriers per wavelength, burst loss probability, throughput, and total bandwidth of an optical fiber.

The evolving internet-based services demand high-speed data transmission in conjunction with scalability. The next generation optical network has to exploit artificial intelligence and cognitive techniques to cope with the emerging requirements. This work proposes a novel way to solve the dynamic provisioning problem in optical network. The provisioning in optical network involves the computation of routes and the reservation of wavelenghs (Routing and Wavelength assignment-RWA). This is an extensively studied multi-objective optimization problem and its complexity is known to be NP-Complete. As the exact algorithms incurs more running time, the heuristic based approaches have been widely preferred to solve this problem. Recently the software-defined networking has impacted the way the optical pipes are configured and monitored. This work proposes the dynamic selection of path computation algorithms in response to the changing service requirements and network scenarios. A software-defined controller mechanism with a novel packet matching feature was proposed to dynamically match the traffic demands with the appropriate algorithm. A software-defined controller with Path Computation Element-PCE was created in the ONOS tool. A simulation study was performed with the case study of dynamic path establishment in ONOS-Open Network Operating System based software defined controller environment. A java based NOX controller was configured with a parent path computation element. The child path computation elements were configured with different path computation algorithms under the control of the parent path computation element. The use case of dynamic bulk path creation was considered. The algorithm selection method is compared with the existing single algorithm based method and the results are analyzed.
