Morison 방정식을 이용한 Tension Leg Platform의 동정해석 (Dynamic Analysis of a Tension Leg Platform Using Morison's Equation)

  • 본 논문에서는 Tension Leg Platform(TLP)에 작용하는 파랑하중을 간단한 Morison 방정식을 이용하여 효율적으로 산정할 수 있는 방법에 대해서 연구하였다. 본 방법에서는 MacCamy-Fuchs 산란파이론에 기초를 둔 파동력 감소계수를 도입하여 파의 산란효과를 근사적으로 고려하였으며, Morison 방정식 상에서는 무시되는 연직기둥의 바닥에 작용하는 수직력을 이 면에서의 동압력과 수직방향의 부가질량에 관련된 관성력으로 산정하여 고려하였다. 수치해석은 1000 ft 수심에 위치한 가상적인 구조물에 $0^{\circ}$$45^{\circ}$로 입사하는 파에 대하여 전술한 방법 및 이론적으로 보다 정확한 산란파이론에 의한 방법을 사용하여 수행하였으며, TLP 운동 및 tether의 상단 인장력의 전달함수(RAO)를 구하여 비교 검토하였다.

부이의 특성이 통발어구의 고정력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the characteristics of buoy on the holding power of trapnet)

  • In this paper, numerical modeling is conducted to analyze the tension of an anchor line by varying the size and drag coefficient of a buoy when the trapnet is influenced by the wave and the current simultaneously. A mass-spring model was used to analyze the behavior of trapnet underwater under the influence of waves and current. In the simulation of numerical model, wave height of 3, 4, 5 and 6 m, a period of 4.4 s, and the flow speed of 0.7 m/s were used for the wave and current condition. The drag coefficients of buoy were 0.8, 0.4 and 0.2, respectively. The size of buoy was 100, 50 and 25% based on the cylindrical buoy ($0.0311m^3$) used for swimming crab trap. The drag coefficient of the trapnet, the main model for numerical analysis, was obtained by a circular water channel experiment using a 6-component load cell. As a result of the simulation, the tension of the anchor line decreased proportional to buoy's drag coefficient and size; the higher the wave height, the greater the decrease rate of the tension. When the buoy drag coefficient and size decreased to one fourth, the tension of the anchor line decreased to a half and the tension of the anchor line was lower than the holding power of the anchor even at 6 m of wave height. Therefore, reducing the buoy drag coefficient and size appropriately reduces the trapnet load from the wave, which also reduces the possibility of trapnet loss.

선망어법의 어획과정에 있어서 죔줄의 장력-I -망형별 죔줄의 장력에 관한 모형실험- (A Study on the Tension of a Purseline in the Process of Catch of the Purse Seine Fishing Methods-I -Model Experiment on the Tension of a Purseline by Net Shapes-)

  • The north-west sea area of Cheju Island is where originate two layer current in the summer season. The case of the fishing operations in this sea area is almost impossible for normal expansion of the net gear for shooting net, and is happened to be frequent occasions for rise of tension suddenly in purseline by changes of the net shapes in the operation. Therefore, the safety of the operations is often obstructed by the above mentioned. In connection with the above, model experiments on the purse seine in the circulating water tank was carried out in comparison and analysis on the changes of tension in the pruseline by deformation of purse seine in the sea area of two layer current. THe results obtained are as follows;In the case of the required time for pursing of 20 minutes in the no current set, the increasing curve for tension of purseline can be expressed as:Y=0.0004x3+0.0098x2+0.3000x(r=0.9989)where Y is tension(metric tons) of a purseline, x is required time(minutes) for pursing. And, the maximum value of tension in this time was an increase of 31.3 percent at 15 minutes, and was a decrease of 30.3 percent at 30 minutes than that of 20 minutes.When the bottom margin of net is held on the position in velocity of 0.5 knot at three-eighths of net in the bottom current to the net height, the maximum tension of the required time for pursing of 30 minutes in tight set and loose set were decrease of 29.5 percent and 28.7 percent respectively than that of 20 minutes.The work load during the required time for pursing of 20 minutes were calculated 5.79×106 kgf·m in no current set, 7.89×106 kgf·m in tight set and 5.15×106 kgf·m in loose set, therefore it was an increase of 22.3 percent in tight set, and was a decrease of 11.1 percent in loose set than that of the no current set. Where tight set and loose set is a range of the bottom current with velocity of 0.5 knot at three-eighths of net to the net height.

Wetting Properties of Biopolyester Films Prepared by Thermo-Compression Method

  • Water resistance of three biopolyester films, such as poly-L-lactate (PLA), poly-hydroxybutyrate-co-valerate (PHBV), and Ecoflex, and low density polyethylene (LDPE) film was investigated by measuring contact angle of various probe liquids on the films. The properties measured were initial contact angle of water, dynamic change of the water contact angle with time, and the critical surface energy of the films. Water contact angle of the biopolyester films ($57.62-68.76^{\circ}$) was lower than that of LDPE film ($85.19^{\circ}$) indicating biopolyester films are less hydrophobic. The result of dynamic change of water contact angle also showed that the biopolyester films are less water resistant than LDPE film, but much more water resistant than cellulose-based packaging materials. Apparent critical surface energy for the biopolyester films (35.15-38.55 mN/m) was higher than that of LDPE film (28.59 mN/m) indicating LDPE film is more hydrophobic.

토양수분조건이 시설재배 참외의 수량과 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Soil Water Content on the Yield and Quality of Plastic Greenhouse Oriental Melon during Low Temperature Season)

  • 저온기 시설참외 재배시에 적정 토양수분 관리방법을 확립하고자 플라스틱 하우스내에서 착과 10일전부터 수확 1주일 전까지 관수개시점을 10, 20, 30, 50 kPa로 각각 달리하여 실험한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 전체 관수량은 관수개시점 10kPa구에서는 92.5mm 관수한 반면에 50kPa 관수구는 관수개시점에 도달되지 않아 관수하지 않았다. 참외의 발육에 있어서는 수분이 많을수록 과실비대가 잘 되어 과중은 관수개시점이 50kPa인 구에서 324g인데 비해 10kPa구에서는 456g으로 컸으며, 반면에 수분이 많을수록 발효과의 발생이 많아 상품수량은 오히려 관수개시점 10kPa에서 가장 적었다. 과실의 당도는 30kPa구와 50kPa구에서 가장 높았으며 10kPa구가 가장 낮았다. 결과적으로 당도와 상품수량성 면에서, 토양수분장력이 30kPa 도달시에 관수하는 것이 효과적일 것으로 판단되었다.

흙-수분 특성 곡선을 이용한 불포화모래의 인장강도 모델링 (Modeling of the Tensile Strength of Unsaturated Granular Soil Using Soil-water Characteristic Curve)

  • 본 연구는 불포화 상태 전 범위에 대한 사질토의 인장강도 모델화 가능성을 조사하기 위해 실시 되었다. 새로 개발된 직접인장시험기법을 이용하여 인장시험이 실시되었다. 측정된 결과는 Rumpf 및 Schubert가 동일크기의 이상적인 구에 대해 개발한 이론적인 인장강도 모델들에 의한 예측 값과 비교 되었다. 이를 위해 석션-포화실험을 통해 얻어진 흙-수분특성곡선을 이용하여 이론모델에 있어 중요한 요소인 불포화상태(pendular, funicular, capillary) 구분 및 음의 간극수압 값을 산정하는데 사용하였다. Pendular 상태에서 불포화모래의 비선형 거동이 Rumpf의 모델에 의해 적절이 묘사되었다. Funicular 및 capillary상태의 경우, 함수비가 증가함에 따라 인장강도가 증가하다 최고 값이 도달한 후 다시 감소하는 실험 측정치의 경향도 Schubert의 모델에 의해 적절히 묘사되었다. 본 비교 연구는 이상적인 단일 크기의 입자에 대해 개발된 이론적인 모델이 다양한 크기를 갖는 불포화 사질토의 인장강도를 예측할 수 있다는 가능성을 뒷받침해준다.

금속가공유용 수용성 폴리에스테르의 합성 및 용액특성(II) (Synthesis and Solution Properties of Water Soluble Polyester for Metal-Working Fluids (II))

  • 아디픽산 및 세바식산의 이염기산을 폴리에틸렌글리콜(PEG)과 축합 반응하여 여러종류의 PEG-ester를 합성하였다. 합성된 PEG-ester의 화학적 구조 및 분자량을 FT-IR, $^1H-NMR$, HPLC 및 GPC에 의하여 분석하였다. 또한, 임계미셀농도(CMC), 표면장력, 알루미늄판에 대한 접촉각 등을 통하여 수용액상에서 계면활성제의 역할을 함을 알 수 있었다. PEG-ester의 농도에 따라 표면장력은 72.5에서 45~50 dyne/cm로 감소함을 알 수 있었고, 세바식산을 사용하여 합성한 PEG-ester가 아디픽산을 사용하여 합성한 PEG-ester보다 같은 농도에서 낮은 표면장력을 나타내었다. CMC는 구조에 따라 차이를 나타내었는데 세바식산을 함유한 PEG-ester의 CMC는 $0.9{\times}10^{-5}{\sim}5.3{\times}10^{-3}mol/L$로 폴리옥시알킬렌 단위체가 길어질수록 증가하였으며 아디픽산을 함유한 PEG-ester의 경우, 변곡점을 뚜렷하게 관찰할 수가 없었다. 알루미늄에 대한 젖음성을 알루미늄 시편에 대한 접촉각을 측정하여 검토하였는 바, PEG-ester의 농도가 증가할수록 작아짐을 알 수 있었고 임계점을 관찰할 수가 있었다. 2.5 wt% PEG-ester를 함유한 수용액의 알루미늄에 대한 접촉각은 $45{\sim}53^{\circ}$이었으며 알루미늄 가공 절삭시간은 CMC를 나타내는 농도에서 가장 짧게 관찰되었으며 CMC 농도보다 큰 농도에서 길게 나타났다. 즉, 알루미늄을 가공할 때 PEG-ester의 CMC가 절삭성능에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단되었다.

  • The Intervertebral disc is a composite structure made up of the nucleus pulposus (NP) core surrounded by the multi-layered fibers of the annulus fibrosis (AF)[1]. Water is drawn into the NP by the presence of hydrophilic proteins called proteoglycans [2]. The AF, with successive layers oriented in alternating directions, surrounds the NP. 독도해역의 해양자원과 그 가치 (Marine Resources and Its Values Near Dokdo)

  • Recently, there are severe tension between Korea and Japan around Dokdo area. Because the marine resources near Dokdo are much plentiful. Especially, development of deep sea water and natural gas are hopeful in this area. In order to preoccupy a development plan of marine resources, many scientific investiment for ocean research are needed. We must have continuous concern about marine resources near Dokdo area.

황견에서 폐장의 산소가 온열 허혈후 재관류 시폐손상에 미치는 영향 (Effect Oxygen in Inflation Gas for Warm Ischemia-reperfusion Injury in the Lung of a Mongrel Dog)

  • Background: Hyperinflation during lung ischemia has been known to improve pulmonary functions after reperfusion which may be exerted through a pulmonary vasodilation and avoidance of atelectasis by an increased surfactant release and been known whether the improvement of pulmonary function was the effect of hyperinflation itself or the oxygen content in inflation gas. Therefore we attempted to clarify the effect of hyperinflation with oxygen in pulmonary inflation gas during warm ischemia on pulmonary function after reperfusion to solve the problem of ischemia-reperfusion injury after lung transplantation. Material and Method: sixteen mongrel dogs were randomly divided into two groups: the left lung was inflated to 30-35 cm H2O with 100% oxygen in oxygen group and 100% nitrogen in nitrogen group. The inflated left lung was maintained with warm ischemia for 100 minutes. Arterial and mixed venous blood gas analysis and hemodynamics were measured before ischemia and 30, 60, 120, 180 and 240 minutes afer reperfusion. Lung biopsy was taken for the measurement of lung water content after the end of reperfusion. Result: In oxygen group arterial oxygen tension the difference of arterial and mixed venous oxygen tension and the difference of alveolar-arterial oxygen tension at 30-minute after reperfusion were not significantly different from those before ischemia and were stable during the 40hour reperfusion. However in nitrogen group these values were significantly deteriorated at 30-minute after reperfusion. there was no significant difference between two groups in hemodynamic data peak airway pressure and lung water content. Conclusion : The results indicated that the oxygenation one of the most important pulmonary functions was improved by pulmonary inflation with 100% oxygen during warm ischemia but the hemodynamics were not. Oxygen as a metabolic substrate during warm ischenia was believed to make the pulmonary tissues to maintain aerobic metabolism and to prevent ischemic damage of alveoli and pulmonary capillary.
