  • As use of tunnels and subways increase there also are accidents proportionate to it. Daegu Subway Station fire, Hongjimoon tunnel fire led people to be conscious of disaster protection and as a result, there is a trend to adopt standards for fire protection. Accordingly, this thesis is focused on investigating various fire and water protection related issues for subaqueous tunnel under Ran river. The thesis developed evacuation and disaster prevention plan as fire level increases and have identified the suitability of disaster prevention through evacuation and fire simulation, countermeasure of a water leakage during construction and operation considering the subaqueous tunnel. And we selected EPB shield TBM equipment considering the ground condition and effect of boring hole, and accomplished reasonable water protection design through setting goals using event-tree method, as well as examining model test of boring hole and flooding in heavy rain. Also included structured total system consist of water leakage sensing system, water protection gate, pumping system and fire protection system to respond systematically in emergency.

  • To demonstrate prevention of the leachate leakage out of the landfill with creating inward hydraulic gradient, a tracer test and continuous waterlevel monitoring at the Inside and outside of the barrier wall of a costal landfill were peformed. When the tracers were injected into the well outside of the vertical wall system with high water level, then they were detected at the well inside of the system with low water level. Furthermore the lowered water level at the inside of the landfill than that at the outside prevented leachate leakage out of the landfill. This study reports results of the tracer test and waterlevel monitoring.

국내 공동주택 지하주차장의 누수 실태 및 주요 누수 부위 조사 (Leakage Situation and Main Leakage Areas of Domestic Residential Building Underground Parking Lots)

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 국내 공동주택 지하주차장의 누수실태를 파악하고, 실제 누수가 가장 빈빈하게 발생되고 있는 주요 누수부위를 파악하여 향후 공동주택 지하부위 누수 예방을 위한 기초자료로 기여하고자 하였다. 18개 단지를 대상으로 누수실태 조사를 진행한 결과 외방수를 적용한 전체 80% 단지에서 누수가 발생되지 않았으나, 내방수를 적용한 단지에서는 전부 누수가 발생되고 있었다. 방수와 관련된 건설분야에 종사하는 전문가를 대상으로 진행한 설문조사 결과, 현재 공동주택 지하주차장의 누수 문제는 심각한 수준으로써, 누수에 대한 대책이 요구되며, 무엇보다 정책적 기준 마련이 중요하다고 판단하고 있다. 누수 실태조사 결과와 설문조사 결과를 비교, 분석한 결과 누수가 빈번한 주요 구조부위는 외벽과 최하층 바닥 슬래브이며, 누수 취약부위는 벽체 시공 이음부와 바닥 신축줄눈으로 판단할 수 있었다. 향후 해당부위의 누수 예방을 위한 방수 설계지침 및 시공시방 등에 대한 후속적인 연구가 필요하겠다.

  • 제체의 누수를 탐지하는 방법으로서 물리탐사, 온도 계측, 광섬유 등 다양한 방법이 개발되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 FDR 센서의 유전율상수를 이용한 누수 탐지의 가능성을 파악하기 위하여 취약부와 미취약부로 구성된 물리모형을 제작하였으며 유전율상수, 온도 및 간극수압 센서를 설치하였다. 누수가 형성됨에 따라 유전율상수는 미취약부보다 취약부에서 빠르게 변화되었다. 또한, 취약부에서 간극수압, 온도 및 유전율 상수를 비교하면 유전율 상수의 반응이 가장 빠르고 하류 계측 지점에서도 쉽게 인지되는 특성을 보였다. 이와 같은 특성을 고려할 때, 제체 하류 구간에서 분포형으로 유전율을 측정한다면 누수 탐지에 빠르고 효율적으로 대처할 수 있을 것으로 파악되었다.

부식 및 스케일 억제제에 의한 냉각수 수질향상 (Improvement of Cooling Water Quality by Corrosion and Scale Inhibitor)

  • This study was investigated to control the corrosion and scale at the cooling water system in steel works. Laboratory and field tests were performed for the indirect cooling water system of plate mill. Throughout the experiment, various factors such as leakage of pipes, heating rate and capacity, and the reaction between existing and substitute inhibitors were carefully monitored. The results showed that the harmful effect of high temperature could be minimized, and satisfactory corrosion/scale controls were effectively achieved using inhibitor, even at the increased temperature of $80^{\circ}C$. The batch and field tests in the gas scrubbing cooling water system of blast furnace and cooling water system of corex plant indicated that the new inhibitor was more effective for the prevention of corrosion and scale than the existing one.

  • The owner of water pipeline has a burden of responsibility for the protection of corrosion and the prevention against leakage of water. So, they have been installed a CP(Cathodic Protection) System in oder to protect corrosion. And they also have been measured and analyzed the data about P/S(Pipe to Soil) potential of water pipeline. The P/S potential is basic data of evaluation for water pipeline corrosion. In this paper, results of development about remote wireless corrosion monitoring system for water pipe line are presented briefly.

The P/S potential is basic data of evaluation for water pipeline corrosion. They need remote automatic corrosion monitoring system for easy maintenance. In this paper, The communication method was studied mainly. And the specifications of proposed TRS (Truncked Radio System ) terminal for corrosion monitoring are introduced briefly.

  • A person's body resistance in the waterpark, public bath and similar places is lower than any other places due to effect of water. So low voltage may create a shock hazard for the human body in case of leakage or fault currents from lighting unit etc. We researched the related regulations these are internal standards, NEC, IEC and investigated the actual conditions for the prevention of electrical shock due to lighting units in the waterpark, public bath and similar places.   • This study is an Investigation on the Watertightness Properties of Rain-Block System on the Sliding-Roof Joint of Large-Span Membrane Structures. In this experimental, we test the watertightness performance of joint part of sliding door in roof of large span membrane structure(for pilot project) under environment of rain and wind. A shape of rain water blocking systems of joint part in sliding door verifies the defects and effects of water leakage prevention in precipitation with the wind conditions. For obtaining watertightness of large span membrane structures, it is necessary quality of joints and performance, and quality of membrane material of a retractable roof as well as a closed roof. Also, for obtaining quality in joints, it is essential to make a watertightness guideline for design of large-span membrane.

피지(Fiji)의 농촌관광개발 사례분석 및 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Directions and Case Analysis of Rural Tourism Development in Fiji)

  • Tourism is often considered as one of the main industries to promote development and modernization in small South Pacific islands countries. In Fiji, this was recognized in the 1960s, and resulted in large-scale resort based tourism development in coastal areas. While tourism has obvious advantages to the economy, a lot of problems such as exclusive foreign control of the main hotels and resorts, considerable overseas leakage of earnings, the limited participation by indigenous resource owners, and localized environmental damages to reefs and mangroves are emerging. For sustainable tourism development, it is needed to set growth objectives and targets for tourism in terms of benefits to Fiji, and to concentrate support on 'Rural Tourism' such as community-based tourism that have lower leakage and put more into local economies. Through case study in this paper, to develop rural tourism at the local level, several recommendations are as follows: 1) to introduce various rural tourism programs such as experiencing Fiji's traditional culture, participating in activities, picking fruits and harvesting agro-products, 2) to enhance aggressive promotion and marketing strategies, 3) to build the capacity of local communities for improving the quality of tourism services, and 4) to provide the infrastructure for tourism business such as road accessing, water supply and disaster prevention.
