A Case Study on Changing Conditions of Farm Household Economy (농가생활(農家生活) 및 영농여건변화(營農與件變化)에 관(關)한 사례조사(事例調査))

  • This study is purposed to examine how fanner's living conditions and managements have been improved during the last five years(1985 through 1989) on the basis of the information got from the sample survey of 30 farm households chosen in Galma-ri, Buseok-Myeon, Seosan county, Chungnam province. The followings are major results of the study. (1) There have been much improvement of kitchen facilities and increasing number of cultural goods, but not much in the condition of sanitation facilities. (2) The size of farm warehouse and stall have been greatly enlarged and there has been large variation in the heads of big animals such as cattle during the surveyed period. This may reflect the facts that farm managements become more diversified and commercialized. (3) It is shown that fanners more voluntarily accept new fanning techniques about their concerning crops. Also there have been rapid changes in the pattern of upland cropping system, adjusting to the commercialization of agriculture. (4) Currently, fanners tend to react to the price signal of market system more sensitively than before. Accordingly, agricultural income structure is varied subject to price fluctuation in the short run period.

  • Today's manufacturing environment is becoming a distributed manufacturing process in which a unique and specialized technological background is required in specific domains rather than having a single company execute all the manufacturing processes. This phenomenon is especially true in the automotive industry, where the sharing of product data between companies is rampant; however, this kind of interoperability causes many problems. When each company has its own method of managing product data, the sharing of product data in a distributed environment is a major problem. A data translator module or a data mapping module had to be developed for the exchange of data in heterogeneous systems of product data management (PDM); moreover, this type of module must be continually changed and improved due to the fact that PDM systems change for many reasons. In addition, the growth in corporate partnerships deepens the burden of developing and maintaining this module and creates further data exchange problems due to the increasing complexity of the system. This paper introduces a way of exchanging product data among heterogeneous PDM systems through the use of OpenPDM, which is a kind of virtual data warehouse. The implementation of a PDM integrating system is also discussed with respect to the requirement for a logical integration of product data which are physically distributed.

  • Wireless sensor network devotes to improving energy efficient and reducing energy costs.We have to monitor in building for 24hours not to incur expansive energy costs in case of problem about a thermostat of buildings or logistics warehouse. It is to incur serious problems of safety of keeping products and a waste of energy. In this paper, establishes a logistics warehouses system based by Zigbee technology to solve that problem.

  • 에너지 절감을 위해 다양한 분야에서 노력을 기울이고 있지만 전체 에너지 사용량의 약 20% 이상을 차지하는 건물 분야는 정부의 정책과 제도적인 지원 하에 에너지 절감활동을 활발하게 진행하고 있다. 특히 $3000m^2$ 이상의 중대형 건물의 경우 BEMS(Building Energy Management System)기반의 건물에너지 관리가 의무화 될 예정이다. 하지만 기존 BEMS의 경우 특정 기업에 의한 단독 솔루션 형태로 제공되고 있어 BEMS간 데이터 상호호환성을 보장하지 않고, 단순 모니터링 기능에 의존하여 저장/관리 되지 않고 버려지는 데이터들이 많아 차후 문제가 발생한 경우 과거 데이터를 통한 분석 작업에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 건물에너지 통합관리 측면에서 원격지에 설치된 다양한 BEMS들의 센서/미터 데이터들을 웹을 통해 수집하고 데이터 웨어하우스에 저장/관리되며 건물에너지 통계, 분석 및 진단을 가능하도록 하는 데이터 웨어하우스 기반의 원격 건물에너지 통합 관리 시스템 설계에 대해 서술한다.

  • The management and deposit of paper document costs are increased gradually. Specially, it is too expensive to safekeeping paper document in the warehouse. Also paper based document system is exposed in several security problems. Therefore, demands of transformation process from paper document into electronic ones are quietly needed. Electronic document repository system is one of the best solutions for solving paper based document system issues. Electronic document repository system can reduce overall costs and provides some advantages in comparison with paper based document system. But, electronic document repository system has no formal methodology for guarantee safeties. Therefore, we suggest a security mechanism for establish electronic document repository system. Suggested security methodology can help for design of more secure electronic document repository system.

  • This work focuses on the implementation and optimization of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS/RS) which is associated with Logistics Information System(LIS). We survey literature and present a case study for the optimization of Logistics System. In the case study, we examine the adaptation and implementation of AS/RS after we analyzed the processes of the company. Logistics Information System is an important component to keep up with the competitive advantage in the global business environments. The company in the case applies LIS to its efficient physical distribution management. AS/RS leads to some benefits; maximized storage space, increased productivity, reduced labor costs and human error, and improved accuracy. AS/RS is found especially effective when working with narrow aisles and extremely high racks.

  • Background : Recently, Medical Act was amended to encourage the induction of combined treatment between Oriental Medicine doctors and Western doctors. As yet, the information infra for combined treatment has not been studied. Objectives : This study aimed to design the architecture of information system for combined treatment of the Oriental and the Western Medicine. Methods : First, we defined the information of combined treatment through the analysis of research trends from the inside and outside of the country. Because the data compatibility is very important, the definition of information must be ahead of anything else. Second, we designed the architecture of information system based on the prior definition. Results : We classified the information for combined treatment by subject such as law, clinic, research, manpower, facilities, and education. In this paper information system examined in three aspects. First the infra layer is organized as hardware, netware, and security. Second is data warehouse layer for the storing, filtering, and extraction of data. Third is service layer which is related to data transmission. And Finally all information for combined treatment is provided through the portal system for medical consumer, political planner, and R&D researcher. Conclusion : In this paper, we studied the essential factors of combined treatment information in the view point of information system. But the detailed design and implementation of information system must be followed to effect this results.

  • GIS has been rapidly developed since 1995 when the Ministry of Construction and Transportation started the First National GIS Construction Project and built large scale topographic map at local governments level. From that time local governments have been built several application system such as road management system, waterworks management system, sewer management system, underground facilities management system, and urban planning information system, etc. However, the construction of GIS application system at different department level brings the problem of data sharing and overlapping database construction. To overcome this environment Enterprise GIS concepts has been introduced. In case of Seoul Metropolitan government Spatial Data Warehouse have been constructed. However, Seoul Metropolitan government still have the problem of inactive use of GIS system and adaption to the rapidly changing information environment. This study aims to present Strategic plan to uggrade Enterprise GIS concenpt from data centric to service centric architecture at local government level.

  • The IPv6 which solved the exhaustion problem of IPv4's IP address is going to be used for many kinds of industries. As a result, there are some products which can be connected to other connectable things, it called Internet of Things (IoT). With growing new propagated products including networking, each product can get an IP address of IPv6, which means it is possible that things also have their own IP addresses. Thus, IP address management system is more important and needs tracking and collecting system for unused products with IP addresses. This study suggests new distribution tracking and inventory management system for IoT products, which offers a current location of things and manages stocks in the warehouse with the static IP address and the location-based service.

  • Many to U-Campus field research have been processed meet of Ubiquitous and University. This paper re-civil of an inventory system of University and student attendance management service of the U-Campus it used a RFID system and it planned newly and it embodied. The system which is proposed journalist re-relation information is provided with a real-time and it leads to put on, it provides a search the delivery of goods from a warehouse, returned goods and location information back. Also the mouth thread of the students and they it provides the thread and strong will information from the student attendance civil official. It uses the system which is proposed from the dissertation which it sees with it becomes disturbance in the journalist re-civil official and the student attendance civil official it will reduce a many hour and a manpower and an expense with the fact that.
