This study was conducted to develop a Web-GIS based monitoring module of smart city that can effectively respond, manage and improve situation in all stages of illegal dumping management on a city scale. First, five technologies were set for the core technical elements of the module configuration. Five core technical elements are as follows; video screening technology based on motion vector analysis, human behavior detection based on intelligent video analytics technology, mobile app for receiving civil complaints about illegal dumping, illegal dumping risk model and street cleanliness map, Web-GIS based situation monitoring technology. The development contents and results for each set of core technical elements were evaluated. Finally, a Web-GIS based 'illegal dumping monitoring module' was proposed. It is possible to collect and analyze city data at the local government level through operating the proposed module. Based on this, it is able to effectively detect illegal dumpers at relatively low cost and identify the tendency of illegal dumping by systematically managing habitual occurrence areas. In the future, it is expected to be developed in the form of an add-on module of the smart city integration platform operated by local governments to ensure interoperability and scalability.

실세계의 분석에서부터 3D 가상도시를 구축하는 GIS는 매우 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 3D 가상도시는 GIS 기술, 컴퓨터그래픽스 기술, 가상현실 기술, 공간 데이터베이스 기술에 의해 컴퓨터 속에 구현이 되는 도시를 말한다. 본 연구에서는 수치지도를 이용하여 실세계 지도좌표를 포함한 3차원 지형 기본맵을 구축하였다. 그리고 높이값을 가진 건물과 3차원 지형 기본맵을 통합하여 Cyber City를 구축하였다. 여기에 Server/Client 시스템을 이용하여 3차원 Cyber City 웹서비스 실시하였다. 기존의 이미지 또는 벡터 기반의 웹서비스방식보다 벡터와 이미지의 합성인 하이브리드(Hybrid)방식으로의 개선을 제안하였고, 공간검색 속성검색 기능을 제공함으로써 기존의 Web 3D 기술의 단순한 가시화의 한계를 넘어 Web 3D GIS로의 발전방향을 제시하였다.

지도는 지표공간을 표현하기 위해 점 선 면의 그래픽 언어를 사용한다. 지도는 지리교육에서 지역학습과 도해력 향상을 위한 학습도구로서 이용되어 왔다. GIS와 인터넷이 급속히 발달하면서, 지도의 활용이 다양한 분야로 확대되었다. 본 논문은 WebGIS를 이용하여 자기주도적인 지리학습을 수행할 수 있도록 웹기반 학습교재 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위한 학습도구로서, 충청북도 행정구역도, 1:25,000 조치원 수치지형도, 통계 자료 및 이미지를 이용하여 지형도와 주제도를 위한 WebGIS가 구축되었다. WebGIS의 기능은 지역에 대한 정보 수집과 검색을 가능하게 하고, 공간현상의 지역적 차이를 파악할 수 있게 제작하였다. 인터넷을 이용한 개별 학습은 학습자중심 학습 및 문제해결력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 정보사회의 청사진으로서 교육을 위한 한 방향이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

According as IT environment changes from client/server system to the open system based on web service technologies, the exchange of data and services between independent applications and service servers in web environment is observed Recently. In this points, it is necessary that Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Imagery Information Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Global Navigation Satellite Systems based on the location and geometry information are inter-related each other. But, the inter-relation of these systems is very difficult because of the closed system architecture, different information format, and the absence of interoperability technologies. In this Paper, we describe 4S integration system based web service technologies that accept the international standard as WFS, WCS, WRS of OGC (OpenGIS Consortium) and UDDI, SOAP, WSDL of W3C. In detail, we study the system architecture design and implementation of traffic information service, routing service, and tracing service. These services are consisting of the data schema based on XML and GML, various functions of each layered service, each server platform, and web server. Specially, we represent that GML is being applied to a wide range of location-based services, telematics, and intelligent transportation

LBS(Location Based Service)와 GIS(Geographic Information System)는 사용자의 위치 정보를 이용하여 지리정보를 제공하는 시스템으로서 점차 다양한 플랫폼에서 서비스 가능하게 되었다. 그러나 PDA와 같은 이동 컴퓨팅 환경은 일반적인 컴퓨팅 환경에 비해 기능적인 측면에서 심각한 제약사항이 존재하기 때문에 다양한 정보를 제공하기 위한 GIS 시스템을 개발하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동 환경에 적합하도록 수치지도 경량화 기법과 웹 연동이 가능한 수치지도 포맷을 제안한다. 제안된 수치지도 생성결과 지도의 용량은 기존 지도보다 약 $99.34\%$ 축약되었다.

최근 메모리 가격의 하락과 함께 주기억 장치 기반 데이터베이스 기술의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 또한 불특정 다수가 인터넷 환경을 통해 이용하는 Web GIS(Geographical Information System)는 데이터의 변경보다는 분석을 위한 데이터 검색이 많으며 고속의 처리를 요구한다. 그러므로 Web GIS를 위한 데이터 저장 하부구조로서 디스크를 기반으로 하는 것보다 메모리를 기반으로 함이 바람직하다. 이 논문에서는 Web GIS에서 널리 사용되고 있는 다차원 공간 데이터를 주기억 장치에 보다 적은 저장 용량으로 표현할 수 있는 방법으로서 상대 좌표값과 MBR(Minimum Sounding Rectangle)의 크기를 이용한 데이터 표현법을 제안한다. 그리고 점 질의나 영역 질의를 간단한 방법으로 처리하는 메모리 기반 공간 색인 기법을 제안한다. 실험 결과 색인의 크기와 MBR 비교 연산의 횟수 측면에서 불균일 분포 데이터에서도 좋은 성능을 보임을 알 수 있다.

환경, 생물 다양성, 기상 등의 많은 과학 자료들을 과학적으로 표현하고 관리하기 위해서는 지리 정보를 사용할 필요가 있다. 이러한 자료 관리 주체 대부분은 환경 단체, 지방 단체, 연구 단체들이고 이러한 단체의 수가 많고 지역적으로 분산되어 있다는 특성이 있다. 때문에 고가의 상업용 GIS 소프트웨어에 의존하여 엄청난 외화 지불을 야기하고 국내 GIS 기반 기술의 축적을 어렵게 하는 현재의 국내 상황은 적절치 않다. 본 논문은 이러한 상황을 타개하기 위한 하나의 대안으로서 공개 소프트웨어 기반한 Web-GIS 시스템 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델에서는 공간 자료 관리를 위해서는 GRASS, 텍스트 및 멀티미디어 자료 관리는 MySQL, 이들을 하나로 통합 운용하고 웹에 접속하기 위해서 GRASSLinks와 CGI를 사용한다.

In this Paper, we Propose web-based Media GIS architecture using 3D geographical database and GPS-related data resulted from 45-Van. We introduce a novel interoperable geographical data service concept; so-called, Virtual World Mapping (VWM) that can map 3D graphic world with real-world video. Our proposed method can easily retrieve geographical information and attributes to reconstruct 3D virtual space according to certain frame in video sequences. Our proposed system architecture also has an advantage that can provide geographical information service with video stream without any image processing procedures. In addition to, describing the details of our components, we present a Media GIS web service system by using GeoVideoServer, which performs VWM technique.
