  • Although most of all modern Web contents accomplished by passive interface which used 2D, by way of developing super-highway internet net and a 3D compression technology, it gradually changed VR Web3D.   • With the development of GeoWeb technology, 2D/3D spatial information services through the web are also has been used increasingly in the application of disaster management. This paper is suggested to construct a web-based 3D geo-spatial information mapping platform to visualize various spatial information collected at the disaster site in a web environment. This paper is presented a web-based geo-spatial information mapping service plan for the various types of 2D/3D spatial data and large-volume LiDAR point cloud data collected at the disaster accident site using HTML5/WebGL, web development standard technology and open source. Firstly, the collected disaster site survey 2D data is constructed as a spatial DB using GeoServer's WMS service and PostGIS provided an open source and rendered in a web environment. Secondly, in order to efficiently render large-capacity 3D point cloud data in a web environment, a Potree algorithm is applied to simplifies point cloud data into 2D tiles using a multi-resolution octree structure. Lastly, OpenLayers3 based 3D web mapping pilot system is developed for web visualization of 2D/3D spatial information by implementing basic and application functions for controlling and measuring 3D maps with Graphic User Interface (GUI). For the further research, it is expected that various 2D survey data and various spatial image information of a disaster site can be used for scientific investigation and analysis of disaster accidents by overlaying and visualizing them on a built web-based 3D geo-spatial information system.

  • Extensible 3D(X3D) is a software standard for defining interactive web and broadcast-based 3D content integrated with multimedia. The data size of Web3D representation based on polygon meshes is so large that transferring practical data fast is a hard problem. This paper proposes 3D object structure, a new framework for compact 3D representation with high quality surface shape. By utilizing a free form surface technique, qualified surface are transferred with limited amount of data size and rendered. 3D graphic structure can be regarded ad both polygon meshes and free form surfaces. Therefore, it can be easily integrated to existing Web3D data formats, for example VRML & XML. 3D object structure also enables modeling free form surface shapes intuitively with polygon modeling like operations.

  • The web technology related with internet at present is changed into the 3D interactive environment form one sided communication of simple contents. In this paper, a high quality interactive Web3D Contents was realized by using the TurnTool, a authoring tool. This paper suggests the method that can easily and quickly realize the Web3D manual which is more realistic md capable of interaction with user. This method makes up for the weak points in the existing Web3D tool system. Therefore we can realize the contents that able to easily interact through minimizing file size md omitting procedure of additional EAI(External Authoring Interface) by using the Java Script.

  • In this paper we proposed web-based educational multimedia contents development method using Web 3D technology and implemented web 3D contents for use at the education field. A implementation of contents is composed of modeling to specific entity in 3D shape, convert modeling data to enable data at web and include in webpage. A practical use of contents on this research can provide more advanced user experience and immersion.

  • In this paper, we propose a new method for the design and implementation of Cloth Simulation System for 3D fashion shopping mall based on Web. Web 3D shopping mall is implemented by using a Web3D authoring tool, ISB, which provides easy mouse operation. 3D human models and cloth item model are designed by low polygon modeling method of 3D MAX. The designed 3D human models and cloth item model are exported to XML file. Finally, 3D human models and cloth item model are displayed and animated on the Web by using ActiveX control based on DirectX. We also implemented textile palette and mapped it to clothes model by using alpha blending during simulation.

  • 현재 인터넷상에서 서비스되고 있는 컨텐츠는 업그레이드되어 3차원 가상기법인 Web 3D 기술을 적용한 사실적이며 현실감 있는 환경에서 상호작용이 가능한 컨텐츠로 전환되고 있다. 이에 Web 3D의 시장에 많은 저작도구들이 개발되고 활용되고 있다. VRML를 기반으로 하는 표준 기술과 특정분야에 활용될 수 있게 개발된 비표준 기술들로 발전하고 있는 환경에서 Web 3D 컨텐츠 구축을 위한 저작도구의 분석은 필연적이라 생각된다. Web 3D 저작도구의 기본 기능과 확장성, 호환성, 적용분야를 비교 분석하여 각 활용분야와 체형에 맞는 저작도구의 선택을 통한 컨텐츠 제작 효율의 극대화를 제안한다.

  • The proposed cooperative 3D modelling system enables more efficient modeling works by improving current cooperation systems. Current 3D modeling tasks work on off-line and most of works are cooperation systems which communicate by files. These cooperation system cannot be interactive, occurs time delay while feedback and must have some programs which can read the files. This paper solves these problems using web that has the characteristics of network and proposes new cooperation system form. Using WebGL(Web Graphics Library) which is proposing technology in technical realization of Web 3D modeling, we make 3D objects in web browser and these objects can be manipulated by server-client communication. Therefore, if people use this system, they can use real time interaction and feedback. Also this system lowers a software installation necessity and can access everytime if web browser is installed.

  • The purpose of this paper is to implement Web 3D environment that is not provider - oriented but client-oriented in order to provide dynamic information and to analyze knowledges by executing programs on Web pages. For these, The 3D Viewer program that parses and renders ASE files - the most general 3D Model Data file and exported text file of 3D Max Studio - is made and then converted into ActiveX 3D Viewer Component that can be used on the Web. With the purpose of managing ASE and texture file efficiently and interacting between clients and server, ActiveX Component link ASP and Database with Web Service. The 3D View Web Service can make dynamic information and cooperative works easier in Networked Virtual Reality.
