  • We have been fabricated white organic light emitting diode with two-wavelength ard mixing blue emit in DPVBi (4, 4-bis(2, 2-diphenylvinyl)-1, 1 -biphenyl)layer and yellow emit in rubrene (5, 6, 11, 12-tetraphenylnaphthacene)as emitting layer which are controlled with thickness. This device emits white light emitting in CIE (0.29, 0.33), 1000cd/$m^2$ at DC 18V.

  • In this paper, the 7${\times}$7 MMI Multiplexer is designed. The 1${\times}$7 Splitter and the 7${\times}$7 Coupler are designed and the phase-matched away length is determined. Then this result is confirmed by the simulation considering the intermode coupling. The MMI Multiplexer has The 14nm operating wavelength region, the 2nm wavelength spacing and the 1${\times}$3$\textrm{mm}^2$ size.

  • The atomizing characteristics in a spray injected from a twin fluid atomization nozzle have been investigated. The Sauter mean diameters as mean diameter are compared with wavelength calculated from the instability theory. The Sauter mean diameter are measured by the Fraunhofer diffraction theory using the Malvern particle sizer. The wavelength is calculated using the mean relative velocity instead of the exit relative velocity of nozzle. Also shadowgraphy technique is used to visualize atomization. This paper gives a possibility that the mean diameter can be predicted with the wavelength obtained by the simple instability theory.

  • A sensor system which can measure the transmittance of ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) layed glass is proposed. The sensor system includes a single wavelength laser beam source, photo diodes and electronic circuit processing sensor signal. The wavelength of laser is 543.5 m, this is most sensitive wavelength to photopic and scotopic vision. We applied the sensor to measure transmittance of ITO layer on general manufacturing environment and verified the effectiveness of sensor through experimental measurement.

  • 본 논문에서는 광 네트워크에서 파장(Wavelength)의 라우팅(Routing)문제와 파장할당 (Wavelength Assignment)문제 해결에 필요한 파장의 개수를 찾아내는데 있어서 Ants System의 적용이 기존의 다른 방법과 유사하거나 일부 더 좋은 결과를 나타냄을 보인다. 또한, 광 네트워크에서 각 링크가 균등하게 사용되도록 함으로써 광경로(lightpath)의 개수를 최소화하여, 주어진 네트워크에서의 파장의 최소 개수를 찾아내는데 Ants System이 효과적으로 적용될 수 있음을 보인다.

  • 과장 변환기는 WDM (wavelength division multiplexing) 시스템에서 wavelength relocation을 가능하게 하여 시스템의 유연성과 효율성을 향상시킨다는 측면에서 매우 중요한 기능을 갖는다. WDM 시스템의 채널의 수가 점차 증가함에 따라 채널의 간격이 100 GHz에 이르고 있으며 향후 더욱 조밀해 질것이다. 이러한 DWDM (Dense WDM)시스템에서 사용될 수 있는 파장변환기는 100 GHz단위의 파장변환 기능과 광대역 가변 변위가 필수적이다. (중략)

  • Wavelength division multiplexing technology is a promising solution for the next generation optical networks. Optical buffer is a key component for optical packet switching system. It can be used to hold optical packets and to resolve the contention of optical packets. In this paper, we implemented a optical buffer using optical wavelength converters and demonstrated that optical packets are delayed successfully.

단일 모드 광섬유의 길이에 따른 유효차단파장의 특성 측정

  • The effective cutoff wavelength of $LP_11$mode is measured as a function of fiber length for three types of single-mode optical fiber which have different characteristics in the index profile or the coating structure. The measured cutoff wavelength decreased linearly in a logarithmic scale of fiber length as increasing fiber length, and eventually became constant after 3km for two fiber types. It is found that the length dependence of cutoff wavelength is due to a mode coupling between the $LP_01$ and $LP_11$ modes.

  • The multistage wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network (WDM-PON) with multiple remote nodes (RN) can accommodate widely spread subscribers efficiently and it increases the channel usage. We implemented a multistage RN using band add-drop filters and it was applied to a wavelength-locked Fabry-Petor laser diode based gigabit WDM-PON.

  • We demonstrate a novel OFDR system with compactness and short measurement time based on the use of a wavelength-swept mode-locked fiber laser. The optical source uses an intra-cavity tunable Fabry-Perot filter as a tuning element. The fiber laser sweeps 20 nm in less than 10 ms. Spatial resolution of 100 fm and total measurement range of several centimeters are demonstrate
