Since wireless communication cost is relatively expensive, the mobile games using cellular phones or PDAs are mostly played after being downloaded unlike more updated types of phone-to-phone or online games. In particular, the upbringing games, in which garners foster virtual companion animals or vegetables as their avata, have been spotlighted. It is essential to supply variety of items for upbringing avatas. However, due to diverse tastes for avatas and limited storage of mobile terminals, game manias must download their desired items from homepages. In addition, game developers must inform users through SMS messages whenever a new item is created. To do so, they must link WEB server and WAP server to Call Back URL or ARS. This paper proposed a linkage method suitable for JAVA-based mobile phone operating system. The proposed method will consequently increase life cycle of a game and reinforce profitability.

This paper has been studied a implementation of HTML Filter with structured decks. In wireless environment, conventional HTML Filter converts HTML document to WML by once. However, it is more efficient to access a WEB site by transmitting the minimal capacity of core data in WAP environment. Therefore this Paper suggests new HTML Filter that automatically analyze the contents of HTML WEB and transmits it by selecting the one of many Decks that have the structured architecture. Also the protocol between wireless terminal and WAP Gateway is considered. Finally, We test the proposed HTML Filter with structured Decks for some particular web site.

In the case of mobile internet service using WAP, It was connected to http protocol using WAP Gateway. So, Users take increased cost of mobile internet service. and it was generated inner security problem because it watched user information in the WAP Gateway. To solve this problem we use java language. Which is independant of platform and low cost and intensely security and downloadable application. Additional, Using socket connection, Multi Messaging System(MMS) will connect real time between PC-Client and Mobile-Client, Mobile-Client and Mobile-Client, and so on. In this paper, as design and implementation o( multi messaging used SK-VM based on .12ME, It will be foundation to develop various mobile application in the future.

This paper proposes a new architecture for DCT-based motion estimation and compensation. Previous methods do riot take sufficient advantage of the sparseness of 2-D DCT coefficients to reduce execution time. We first derive a recursion equation to perform DCT domain motion estimation more efficiently; we then use it to develop a wavefront array processor (WAP) consisting of processing elements. In addition, we show that the recursion equation enables motion predicted images with different frequency bands, for example, from the images with low frequency components to the images with low and high frequency components. The wavefront way Processor can reconfigure to different motion estimation algorithms, such as logarithmic search and three step search, without architectural modifications. These properties can be effectively used to reduce the energy required for video encoding and decoding. The proposed WAP architecture achieves a significant reduction in computational complexity and processing time. It is also shown that the motion estimation algorithm in the transform domain using SAD (Sum of Absolute Differences) matching criterion maximizes PSNR and the compression ratio for the practical video coding applications when compared to tile motion estimation algorithm in the spatial domain using either SAD or SSD.

Nitrate in edible vegetables is converted to nitrite by nitrate reductase(NR) and/or bacteria in intestines. Nitrite and amino, in the intestine of some animals and human, bind to form nitrosamine, which is toxic and known as carcinogen. This study was carried out to examine the effect of added chlorides and their concentrations on growth, yield and nitrate content in leaf lettuce plants in hydroponics. Seeds of lettuce cv, "Samsunjokchukmyon" were planted on April 29, and seedlings were planted on June 2, and were cultured until July 5 in 1998. KCI and CaCl₂ were used as chloride source and their concentrations were 1, 2 and 4 me/L, respectively, in the lettuce standard nutrient solution for National Horticultural Research Institute(NHRI). Completely randomized design with 3 replications was used. Nitrate content and NR activity were measured 2 and 5 weeks after planting(WAP). The obtained results were summarized as the follows : Leaf weight per plant was difference from harvest dates and treatments, but total leaf weight was not significantly different among treatments. Number of leaves was higher in KCI 2 me/L, CaCl₂1 me/L and control at 2 WAP than the others, and was higher in KCI 1 me/L, and control at 3 WAP than others, and was higher in control at 5 WAP. Total number of harvested leaves was the highest in control with 14, which followed by KCI 2 me/L and CaCl₂1 me/L. Nitrate content was decreased by addition of chloride in nutrient solution. Nitrate content in the 3rd and 9th leaves was significantly decreased. NR activity was higher in control and CaCl₂ addition treatments, while KCI addition treatments reduced NR activity. However, no direct relationship with nitrate was observed. Growth characteristics such leaf length and leaf width were not significantly influenced by chloride addition.

This study was aimed to develop a value-added fermented products from rice and apple pomace using Bifidobacterium fermentation. The Bifidobacterium fermentation system of the mixture of rice and apple pomace was developed, and the physicochemical properties of the products were investigated. After 4 different bifidobacteria were compared for their fermentation capability and sensory properties of the fermented product, Bifidobacterium FBD-13 and FBD-22 were selected as appropriate strains for the fermentation of saccharified rice solution(SRS). The optimum inoculation level was 2% and the optimum fermentation time was 42 hrs. When wet apple pomace(WAP) was added to SRS, it contributed to the improvement of sensory properties of the fermented products and the optimum mixing ratio was 40% WAP and 60% SRS in weight. For the fermentation of the mixture of WAP and SRS, Bifidobacterium FBD-27 and FBD-22 were selected as suitable strains.

최근 개인 휴대폰의 대중화에 따라 기존의 유선 인터넷 환경과 휴대폰 서비스가 결합된 무선 인터넷서비스가 각광을 받고 있다. 현재 웹을 기반으로 WAP 인터페이스를 제공하는 회사들은 디스크 기반DBMS를 사용한다. 데이터의 전송 속도가 유선 상에 비해 떨어지고 회선이 불안정한 무선 인터넷의 특성상, 응답 시간이 느릴 결우 사용자는 서비스 이용에 큰 불편을 느낄 수밖에 없고, 이용상에 오류가 생길 가능성이 높아진다. 이에 비추어 볼 때 응답 시간은 기존의 유선 인터텟 서비스에 비해 더욱 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 디스크 기반 DBMS는 이와 같은 요구 조건을 만족하지 못한다. 그에 반해 구조가 간단하면서 높은 성능을 낼 수 있는 메인 메모리 DBMS는 무선 인터넷 서비스에 적합한 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 2세대 고성능 메인 메모리 DBMS인 P＊TIME을 이용하여 무선 인터넷 서버를 구현하고, 그 성능을 상용 DRDBMS인 Oracle을 이용했을 때의 성능과 비교 분석해 본다. WML, WML Script, JSP를 이용하여 PIMS 서비스를 구현해 본 결과, 동시 접속자 수가 늘어남에 따라 Oracle과 P＊TIME의 성능 차이는 더욱 크게 벌어져 동시 접속자 수가 50명일 경우 P＊TIME이 100배 이상의 성능을 보였다.

본 연구는 생명공학 관련 기술개발에 의하여 신소재 물질을 생산하고 사람에게 안전하고 생리활성이 높은 고가의 의료용 단백질 생산기술을 체계화하며 형질전환 가축을 이용한 유용물질 생산에 따른 산업화와 부가가치의 극대화에 그 목적이 있다. 유즙으로 사람의 빈혈치료제인 EPO(Erythropoietin)를 분비할 수 있는 형질전환돼지를 생산하기 위하여 WAP(Whey Acidic Protein) Promoter(2.6kb) 하류에 사람의 조혈촉진유전자(EPO: 2.6kb)를 연결시켜 미세주입용 재조합 벡터(WAP-EPO : 약 7.8kb)를 구축하였다. 구축된 재조합 벡터를 1세포기 수정란에 약 2ng/ul 농도로 미세주입한 다음 외과적 방법으로 이식하였다. 이식 후 분만 모돈으로부터 생산된 자돈의 꼬리조직을 이용 게놈DNA를 추출하고 PCR 검정을 한 결과, 유즙으로 사람의 빈혈치료제를 생산할 수 있는 유전자가 도입된 형질전환돼지 $\boxDr$새롬이$\boxUl$ (♂)를 확인하였다. 또한 이렇게 꼬리조직으로부터 확인된 새롬이의 혈액과 정액을 채취, 게놈 DNA를 추출하여 외래 유전자 삽입여부를 PCR 방법으로 검정한 결과 꼬리조직과 마찬가지로 혈액 및 정액에서도 외래유전자가 삽입되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이렇게 생산된 형질전환돼지 $\boxDr$새롬이$\boxUl$를 이용 계대번식을 통한 F$_1$ 산자의 생산과 유전자 전이율을 확인하기 위하여 $\boxDr$새롬이$\boxUl$정액을 이용한 인공수정을 실시하였다. 인공수정은 1999년 7월 1일부터 2000년 9월 8일 까지 총 78두의 모돈을 이용하였으며, 그 중 21두의 모돈이 분만하여 인공수정에 의한 분만율은 26.92%로 나타났다.(Table Omitted) Table 1에서와 같이 새롬이 정액을 이용한 인공수정에 의해 형질전환된 F$_1$ 자돈의 형질전환율은 17.98%로 나타났으며, 32두의 형질전환자돈 중 8두(암:4두, 수:4두)는 분만과 동시에 폐사하였거나 사육중 폐사하여 현재 24두(암:12두, 수:12두)가 생존하여 F$_1$ 간 교배계획에 의해 사육되고 있다. 이 중 암컷 4두는 현재 F$_2$ 자돈 생산과 함께 유즙내로 사람 빈혈치료제의 분비 유무를 검정중에 있으며, FISH 법에 의한 외래 유전자 삽입 검정을 확인 중에 있다.

현재 세계적인 이동통신 업체들은 대부분 XHTML Basic 을 수용하여 새로운 브라우저들은 WAP 프로토콜을 배제하고 TCP/IP 기반의 통신을 지원하는 경향을 나타내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기술 추세를 반영하여 WAP 2.0 을 지원하는 PalmOS 용 XHTML 브라우저를 개발하였다. 본 브라우저의 특성은 이식성을 높이면서 휴대용 단말기의 자원 제약을 극복하기 위하여 이미지 변환 프락시를 활용하는 방식을 채택한 점이다.

In a ubiquitous society, the world is changing to the place where we can access to network anytime, anywhere, on any device. The mobile internet is leading the ubiquitous world and the most commonly used medium is a cell phone. However, it is uncomfortable to link to cafe, blog, and mini homepage. Because we have to stop wap service in order to upload the mobile contents like photos, videos, sound recordings produced by mobile phones. Also we have to re-access. So, in this paper content management system was designed and implemented which mobile users don't have to stop wap service in order to upload photos, videos, sound recordings produced by mobile phones. Also it supports upload in wap service integrative medicine diagnosis and contents can be managed by category.
