According to the World Bank statistics, China's contribution to global economic growth during the year of 2013-2016 was estimated at 31.6 percent. This figure is even larger than 29.0 percent, the contribution by summing each contribution of the United States, EU and Japan. The Chinese commodity trade accounts for up to 11.5 percent of world trade volume. Thus, we can consider that the Chinese economy has a strong influence on the global economy. The primary purpose of this study is to analyze the contribution level of Chinese seaborne trade volume on world economy. First, this study conducted a time-lag analysis using Moran test, so we can find that China's level of contribution to global economic growth varies from time to time. The contribution of the first phase (1999-2007) was nearly three times higher than the contributions from the second phase (2008-2016), suggesting that the overall contraction of the global trade volume starting from the subprime mortgage crisis in 2008 has continued until recently and recovery has not even occurred. Second, using the econometrics model, this study conducted an regression analysis of the impact of Chinese imports and exports in chemicals, grain, steel, crude oil, and container on global economic growth. Fixed effects model with time series data has been applied to examine the effect of Chinese seaborne trade volume on global economic growth. According to the empirical analysis of this study, China's exports of steel products, exports of container, imports of containers, imports of crude oil and imports of grain have significant contributions to global economic growth. Estimates of China's exports of steel products, exports of container, imports of containers, imports of crude oil and imports of grain are 1.023, 1.020, 1.019, 1.007 and 1.006, respectively. For example, the estimated value 1.023 of China's exports of steel products means that the growth rate can be 1.023 times higher than the current world GDP growth rate if Chinese seaborne trade volume of exports of steel products increased by one unit (one million tons). This study concludes that the expansion of China's imports and exports should be realized first to increase the global GDP growth rate. The expansion of Chinese trade can lead to a simultaneous stimulus of production and consumption in China, which can even lead to global economic growth ultimately. Thus, depending on how much China's trade will be broaden in the future, the width of global economic growth can be determined.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to suggest strategies and solutions for entering China in the tariff and non-tariff sectors of the cosmetic industry. Design/methodology/approach - This study analyzed the import tariff rate of cosmetics in China, and analyzed the export cost by actually interviewing the exporting companies to derive the economic effect of non-tariff measures. Findings - First, We proposed the use of the FTA business model (basic cosmetics), the use of Korea-China FTA tariffs (foam cleansing, toothpaste), and the use of APTA tariffs (perfume). Second, We proposed cooperation between the governments to facilitate customs clearance procedures and improvement of FTA awareness among corporate practitioners. Third, We proposed the expansion and support of the AEO MRA system and the expansion of Korea-China MOU conclusions regarding the certification system, and the international standardization of domestic licensing system and technical conditions. Fourth, We proposed the use of government-supported projects related to obtaining overseas certifications and overseas expansion through collaboration with the same industry. Research implications or Originality - HS3304 products excluded from the Korea-China FTA should take full advantage of the FTA business model. In addition, the non-tariff measure costs are fixed costs per year, so the ratio decreases as the number of exports and export volume increases.

PURPOSE: This study investigated the immediate effect of inspiratory muscle training with whole-body vibration on the pulmonary function of subacute stroke patients. METHODS: All participants (n=30) were allocated to the following groups: (1) the inspiratory muscle training group with whole-body vibration (n=10), wherein the patients received inspiratory muscle training with whole-body vibration comprising 3minutes of vibration per session and respiratory training of 30 times and 2 sessions for one day. (2) the inspiratory muscle training group with visual feedback (n=10), wherein the patients received inspiratory muscle training with visual feedback. (3) the inspiratory muscle training group (n=10), wherein the patients received inspiratory muscle training. RESULTS: After the experiment, the inspiratory muscle training group with whole-body vibration exhibited significantly higher forced vital capacity, forced expiratory volume at 1 second, peak inspiratory flow rate, maximal inspiratory pressure, and chest expansion (p<.05), compared to the other groups. Inspiratory muscle training group with whole-body vibration had significantly higher peak expiratory flow rate and maximal voluntary ventilation than the other groups (p<.05). CONCLUSION: These results show that pulmonary function, maximal inspiratory pressure, and chest expansion were significantly better in the inspiratory muscle training group with whole-body vibration than in the other groups. Thus, this treatment will help recovery of pulmonary function in stroke patients.
Dispersion condition of Si3N4 powder in molten wax was established by comparing relative viscosity of mixture with 20 vol% solids loading, while the evaluation of compression-molded sample was demonstrated as an effective method for developing a binder system for injection molding. The best dispersion of Si3N4 powder in molten wax was achieved when Si3N4 powder was treated with 5% stearic acid, and the critical powder volume fraction was determined to be about 0.51 from density measurement of compression-molded samples. Samples containing polar secondary binder showed markedly improved green strength, higher thermal expansion and increased wicking rate in the early stage.

Performance analysis of the automotive air-conditioning system is conducted by using computer simulation, and performance tests are carried out by using the climate wind tunnel in order to verify simulation. Evaporator and condenser were modeled by using empirical correlation which was obtained from calorimeter data, and compressor was modeled by using map based method. The steady state thermodynamic conditions of refrigerant satisfying mass and energy balance were assumed in the simulation program for automotive airconditioning system. The system performance was analyzed by finite difference method until differential air enthalpy between evaporator inlet and outlet becomes converged. Simulation results are in good agreement with experimental results at most operating conditions. Variation of discharge temperature and pressure of compressor, outlet temperature of evaporator, cooling capacity, and COP were investigated in term of air volume flow rate for evaporator, compressor capacity, compressor speed, superheat of thermostatic expansion valve, and diameter of suction line.
Ultrasonic absorption and velocity spectra in bovine serum albumin (BSA) aqueous solutions have been measured at $20^{\circ}C$ over the frequency range 0.2-3 MHz in the pH range 1.5-13.2. The high-Q ultrasonic resonator and pulse-echo overlap methods were used. At acid pH's, excess absorption over that of pH 7 was explained by double relaxation. The pH dependences of the relaxation frequency and maximum absorption per wavelength, showed that the relaxation at about 200 kHz was related to the expansion of molecules and that about 3 MHz resulted from the proton transfer reaction of carboxyl group. At alkaline pH's, the excess absorption was explained by double relaxation. The relaxation at about 300 kHz was associated with a helix-coil transition, and that about 3 MHz was attributed to the proton transfer reaction of phenolic group. The rate constants and volume changes associated with these processes were estimated.
In the treatment of functional orthodontic problems, timing is not an issue. All orthodontists start as soon as the condition is recognized. However, there is an active dialogue concerning treatment timing for structure problems. The major points in contention center around the operator's ability is to control the growth of the facial bones and to maintain post-treatment tooth position through the maturation period (especially when this position was gained by techniques involving arch expansion or distal driving of posterior segments). Factors taken into account to determine the best time of orthodontic treatment include diagnosis, interception, growth rate, patient cooperation, eruptive state and treatment period. With those exceptions of all functional problems, mild dental discrepancies and skeletal deficiencies with a predictably excellent growth potential (early treatment), the period immediately following the eruption of the permanent second molars is the period during which most orthodontic treatment should be initiated. At this time the full volume of tooth substances is present, the individual growth pattern in well established, there are sufficient teeth to receive nearly any type of appliances and the patient can easily tolerate the wearing of appliances.

The diffusion behavior of liquid into polymer has been described by Fick's law, but the departure from Fickian diffusion is frequently found. In this study, 'noble' expressions for the rates of relaxation and sorption are introduced to eliminate these limitations. The ralaxation-sorption coupled mechanism model are based on the possibility of contacting liquid molecule and the active site which has the numerical concept of free volume. The concept has an analogy of reaction rate expressed by the possibility of collision with molecules and used in adsorption and reactive extraction etc. The new model simulated by Rungc-Kutta method for initial-value problem and Fickian diffusion is caompared with experimental data. The results show that the ralaxation-sorption coupled mechanism is able to account well for Fickian and non-Fickian sorption behavior including sigmoid and two-stage. In addition, this model has a chance of expansion to multi-component sorption with ease.

This study was conducted to investigate the consolidation characteristics of repeated increasing and decreasing load m marine clay. Consolidation test was performed by the whole repetition of increasing and decreasing load and the partial repetition of increasing and decreasing load. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The void ratio e was decreased according to the increase of preloading and the repe- tition of increasing and decreasing load. 2. In case of the partial repetition of increasing and decreasing load the compression index Cc was decreased with the increase of preloading and the repetition of increa- sing and decreasing load 3. The expansion rate was greatly increased with the whole repetition of increasing and decreasing load and it was inclined to be increased with the increase of preloading in case of the partial repetition. 4. The coefficient of volume compressibility were decreased according to the repetition of increasing and decreasing load 5. The secondary consolidation coefficient was decreased with the repetition of increasing and decreasing load. Especially in case of the partial repetition, the peaks of secon- dary consolidation curves could be found to move toward the vicinity of preloading.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of supplemental recombinant bovine somatotropin (rbST) and cooling with misters and fans on renal function in relation to regulation of body fluids in different stages of lactation in crossbred Holstein cattle. Ten, 87.5% crossbred Holstein cattle were divided into two groups of 5 animals each, housing in a normal shaded barn (NS) and in a shaded barn with a mister-fans cooling system (MF). The experiment in each group was divided into 3 phases, early- (Day 75 postpartum), mid- (Day 135 postpartum), and late stage of lactation (Day 195 postpartum). The pre-treatment study was conducted on the starting day of each stage of lactation and the treatment study was performed after the end of the pre-treatment, during which the animal was injected with 500 mg of rbST (POSILAC) every 14 days for three times. During the study, ambient temperature at the hottest period daily in the MF barn was significantly lower, while relative humidity was higher than that of the NS barn. The temperature humidity index (THI) in both barns ranged from 79-85 throughout the periods of study. Cows in the MF barn showed a lower rectal temperature and respiration rate as compared with cows in the NS barn. The effect of rbST administration increased both rectal temperature and respiration rates of cows housed in either the NS or MF barn. Milk yield significantly increased in cows treated with rbST in all stages of lactation. Increases in mammary blood flow, accompanied by increases of total body water (TBW), extracellular fluid (ECF), blood volume (BV) and plasma volume (PV), were observed in both groups of cows receiving rbST in all stages of lactation. No alterations of renal blood flow and glomerular filtration rate were observed in cows receiving rbST, but decreases in urinary excretion and fractional excretion of sodium, potassium and chloride ions appeared to correlate with reduction in the rate of urine flow and osmolar clearance during rbST administration. These results suggest that the effect of rbST supplementation to cows housed either in NS or MF barns on body fluid volume expansion is attributable to changes in the rate of electrolyte excretion by the kidney. The increased availability of renal tubular reabsorption of sodium, potassium and chloride ions during rbST treatment was a major factor in retaining body water through its colligative properties in exerting formation of an osmotic force mechanism.
