쌀 취반특성의 품종간 변이 및 이화학적 특성과의 관계 (Varietal Variation of Cooking Quality and Interrelationship between Cooking and Physicochemical Properties of Rice Grain)

  • 벼 품종간 쌀 취반특성의 변이를 구명하여 비슷한 취반특성을 가진 품종군을 분류하고 쌀의 취반특성과 이화학적 특성간의 관계를 검토한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1, 메벼 품종과 찰벼 품종은 밥물의 요드정색도에서 차이가 크게 났으며, 메벼, 찰벼 모두 요드정색도와 용출고형물량에서 품종간 변이가 크게 났다. 2. 메벼 품종을 국내육성종, 한국재래종 및 외래도로 구분하여 취반특성을 비교한 결과 팽창률, 요드정색도 및 용출고형물량의 평균치에서 차이가 났다. 3. 취반특성을 이용한 주성분분식에서 제1및 제2주성분치상 분포에서 취반특성이 비슷한 메벼 품종들은 <장안벼·서안벼>, <진미벼·일품벼·대성벼>, <서해벼·남원벼 ·영덕벼>, <추청벼·봉광벼>, <오대벼·금오벼>, <화청벼·동해벼·팔공벼>등이었다. 4. 취반특성이 비슷한 찰벼 품종들은 <농림나001·수원357호·조도·인부지나도>, <삼남밭벼 ·적도>, <무주도·Daigol mochi>, <대골도(찰)·진도(찰)>, <진부찰벼·대골도(유색)>, <신선찰벼·Hung-Tsan>, <아구도·이락도>등이었다. 5. 메벼 품종의 팽창률은 상온 수분흡수율과 정의 상관이 성립되었으며, 요드정색도는 용출고형물량과 부의 상관, 아밀로스함량과는 정의 상관을 각각 나타내었다 찰벼 품종의 팽창률은 요드정색도, 용출고형물량 및 호응집성과는 각각 정의 상관을 나타내었으며, 요드정색도와 알칼리붕괴도 간에는 정의 상관이 인정되었다.

  • The present volume should address the unique method of deterioration analysis tailorly applicable to the study of traction motor, not existent maintenance works system with the time period standard, such as regular inspection works, maintenance works, selection for the repair works. The present volume has executed various field experiments in this method, should propose the procedures and baselines for anticipating the life expansion of traction motor and building precautional maintenance system for it, on the basis of these field experiments. The improvement scheme of traction motor maintenance system in the present volume should be to keep the out-of-order rate from unexpectedly soaring and make the cost-reduction effect through better maintenance work method.

장기간 고염 섭취한 SHR 고혈압 쥐에서, 급성 혈장량 증가에 대한 Atrial Natriuretic Peptide, Aldosterone 및 Renin 분비 반응의 비교 (Dietary Sodium Effects on Responses of Atrial Natriuretic Peptide, Aldosterone and Renin Release to Acute Volume Expansion in SHR)

  • 장기적으로 소금량을 다르게 섭취시킴에 따라서, 체내의 Na 대사에 관여하는 호르몬인 aldosterone, atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) 및 renin 분비와 신장의 배설 반응에 나타나는 변화를 정상 혈압쥐 Wistar와 spontaneously hypertensive rat (SHR)에서 비교하고자 실험하였다. 생후 7주의 숫쥐인 Wistar와 SHR에게 저염과 고염 식이 (각각 2, 25 mmol Na/100 g diet)를 6주간 먹였다. 그 후 ether 마취하에서 대퇴 동맥과 정맥 및 방광에 관을 삽입한 후, restraining cage에 넣었다. 수술회복 후 안정시 뇨와 혈액을 채취한 후, 0.9% saline을 30분동안 체중의 3%되게 정맥주입(혈장량 증가)하고 뇨와 혈액을 채취하였다. 혈장의 호르몬을 방사면역법으로 측정하였다. Wistar와 SHR의 저염, 고염 식이군의 성장률에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. Wistar 저염과 고염군의 평균 동맥혈압은 각각 113과 110 mmHg로 차이가 없었으며, SHR의 동맥압은 141과 149mmHg로 고염군이 높았다. 저염식이군에서 혈장 aldosterone농도는 고염군보다 월등히 높았고, ANP 농도는 차이가 없었으며, renin은 고염군보다 낮았다. 혈장량 증가 이후 혈장 aldosterone은 모든 군에서 $30{\sim}40%$정도 감소하였고, renin은 $30{\sim}60%$정도 감소하였다. 혈장량 증가 이후 ANP는 증가하였는데 고염군에서의 증가도가 저염군에서보다 월등히 높았다. 혈장량 증가 이전의 Wistar군의 혈장 aldosterone과 renin의 대조치 값은 SHR보다 유의하게 높았고, ANP 농도는 차이가 없었다. 그러나 혈장량 증가 이후의 Wistar와 SHR의 aldosterone과 renin의 감소정도는 유의한 차이가 없었으나, ANP의 증가도는 Wistar가 SHR보다 높은 경향을 보였다. 호르몬들 중에서 혈장 aldosterone과 renin사이에는 양의 대수함수 관계가 있으며, 기울기는 고염군이 저염군보다 유의하게 높았다. 혈장량 증가 이후에 나타나는 뇨량과 소금 배설률의 증가 정도는 고염군과 저염군 사이에 차이가 없었다. 그러나 SHR이 Wistar보다 더 심한 이뇨와 Na 배설항진 반응을 보였다. 이상의 결과는 소금 섭취량에 따라서 aldosterone, ANP 및 renin의 분비 조절이 다르며, 정상 혈압과 고혈압쥐 사이에서도 차이가 있음을 시사해 주고 있다.

의사 커패시터를 위한 WS2 나노입자가 내제된 탄소나노섬유 (WS2 Nanoparticles Embedded in Carbon Nanofibers for a Pseudocapacitor)

  • Tungsten disulfide (WS2), a typical 2D layerd structure, has received much attention as a pseudocapacitive material because of its high theoretical specific capacity and excellent ion diffusion kinetics. However, WS2 has critical limits such as poor long-term cycling stability owing to its large volume expansion during cycling and low electrical conductivity. Therefore, to increase the high-rate performance and cycling stability for pseudocapacitors, well-dispersed WS2 nanoparticles embedded in carbon nanofibers (WS2-CNFs), including mesopores and S-doping, are prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and sulfurizaiton. These unique nanocomposite electrodes exhibit a high specific capacity (159.6 F g-1 at 10 mV s-1), excellent high-rate performance (81.3 F g-1 at 300 mV s-1), and long-term cycling stability (55.9 % after 1,000 cycles at 100 mV s-1). The increased specific capacity is attributed to well-dispersed WS2 nanoparticles embedded in CNFs that the enlarge active area; the increased high-rate performance is contributed by reduced ion diffusion pathway due to mesoporous CNFs and improved electrical conductivity due to S-doped CNFs; the long-term cycling stability is attributed to the CNFs matrix including WS2 nanoparticles, which effectively prevent large volume expansion.

Biofilm Processes for Volume Decrease in Recirculating Water Treatment Systems for Aquaculture

  • The engineering aspect of water treatment processes in the recirculating aquaculture system was studied. To recycle the water in the aquaculture system, a wastewater treatment process was required to maintain high water quality for the growth and health of the cultured fish. In this study, three different biofilm processes were used to reduce the concentration of organic matters and ammonia from the recirculating water - two phase fluidized bed, three phase fluidized bed, and trickling filter. The objectives of this research were to evaluate the optimum treatment conditions of the biofilm processes for the recirculating aquaculture system, and thereby reduce the volume of biofilm processes, which are commonly used for the recycle water treatment processes for aquaculture. The result of this study showed that the removal efficiency of organic matters by trickling filter was found to be lower than that of the fluidized bed. In the trickling filter system, anthracite showed better organic removal efficiency than crushed stone as a media. In the two phase fluidized bed, the maximum removal efficiency of either organics or ammonia was obtained when both the packing rate of media was maintained to $40\%$ of total reactor depth excepting sediment zone and the bed expansion rate was maintained to $100\%$. When 100 tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) of each average 200g was reared, the pollutant production rate was 0.07g $NH_4\;^+-N/kg$ fish/day and 0.06g P04-3-P/kg fish/day, and sludge production rate was 0.39 g SS/kg fish/day. In the two phase and three phase fluidized bed, the volume of water treatment tank could be calculated from an empirical equation by using the relationship between the influent COD to $NH_4\;^+-N$ ratio (C/N, -), media concentration (Cm, g/L), influent ammonia nitrogen concentration (Ni, mg/L), effluent ammonia nitrogen concentration (Ne, mg/L), bed expansion rate $(E,\;\%)$, and influent flowrate $(Q,\;m^3/hr)$. Varietal Difference in Water Absorption Characteristics of Milled Rice, and Its Relation to the Other Grain Quality Components

  • Nineteen japonica and Tongil-type rices were selected from seventy nine Korean and Japanese rice cultivars grown in 1989 based on the water uptake behavior of milled rice under the room temperature and boiling conditions. The selected rice cultivars were investigated for water absorbability and some physicochemical characteristics of milled rice, proper water amount for cooking and sensory evaluation of cooked rice. The relationships among the tested grain properties were also examined. The highest varietal variation of water uptake rate was observed at twenty minutes after soaking in water. The maximum water uptake of milled rices at room temperature occurred mostly at about eighty minutes after soaking in water. Newly harvested rices showed a significantly lower water uptake rate of milled rice at 20 minutes after soaking, a relatively higher maximum water absorption ratio under the room temperature, and the less water uptake and volume expansion of boiled rice compared with the one-year old rice samples. The water uptake rate and the maximum water absorption ratio showed significantly negative correlations with the K/Mg ratio and alkali digestion value(ADV) of milled rice. The rice materials showing the higher amount of hot water absorption exhibited the larger volume expansion of cooked rice. The harder rices with lower moisture content revealed the higher rate of water uptake at twenty minutes after soaking and the higher ratio of maximum water uptake under the room temperature condition. These water uptake characteristics were not associated with the protein and amylose contents of milled rice ansd the palatability of cooked rice. The water/rice ratio(in w/w basis) for optimum cooking was averaged to 1.52 in dry milled rices (12% wet basis) with varietal range from 1.45 to 1.61 and the expansion ratio of milled rice after proper boiling was averaged to 2.63(in v/v basis). The water amount needed for optimum cooking was the lowest in Cheongcheongbyeo (Tongil-type rice) and the highest in Jinbubyeo, and the amount could be estimated with about 70% fittness by the multiple regression formula based on some water uptake characteristics, ADV and amylose content of milled rice as the independent variables. Nineteen rice cultivars were classified into seven groups based on scatter diagram projected by principal component analysis using eight properties related to water uptake and gelatinization of milled rice.

오미자 발효액을 이용한 호밀 사워반죽(sourdough)의 발효 특성 (Fermentative characteristics of rye sourdough containing Omija extracts)

  • 본 연구는 오미자 발효액을 이용하여 호밀 사워반죽을 제조하여 발효 특성을 살펴봄으로써 제빵 이용 가능성에 대한 기초 자료를 얻기 위해 시도되었다. 오미자 호밀 사워반죽과 호밀 사워반죽의 pH와 총산도, 효모와 젖산세균수, 팽창률을 측정하였다. 오미자 호밀 사워반죽과 호밀 사워반죽 모두 발효 시간이 경과할수록 pH는 유의적으로 감소한 반면 총산도는 유의적으로 증가하였다(p<0.05). 오미자 호밀 사워반죽에 존재하는 젖산세균수는 대부분의 발효기간 중에 호밀 사워반죽 보다 유의적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다(p<0.05). 오미자 호밀 사워반죽의 팽창률은 최고치가 183%로 호밀 사워반죽의 최고치인 129%보다 47% 이상 팽창한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구 결과 효모와 젖산세균이 풍부한 오미자 발효액을 호밀가루에 첨가하여 사워반죽을 제조할 경우 pH가 낮아져 발효 초기 부패균 억제 및 항진균 효과가 있을 것으로 사료되며 풍부한 효모와 젖산세균들로 인해 높은 팽창률을 보인 것으로 보아 오미자 호밀 사워반죽을 이용해 빵을 제조할 경우 부피 증가, 풍미향상 등 제빵 품질 개선에 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

주식양도소득세 변천과 주식거래에 대한 영향 (The Study Trends of Capital Gain Tax for Stock and Their Effects on Stock Trading)

  • Purpose - This study seeks to summarize the tax changes in stock trading and analyze K-OTC stock trading data in 2017 and 2018 to infer the effects of the application of capital gains taxes by individual investors. Design/methodology/approach - This study analyzes the case of the expansion of the 2018 capital gains tax exemption in the K-OTC market, which exempts capital gains tax on the proceeds from the sale of individual investors of certain stocks under the temporary special law. Findings - In the K-OTC market, the amount of transactions has expanded since the capital gains tax exemption in 2018, but the volume of transactions and transaction turnover have decreased. In particular, the result of lower transaction turnover after the expansion is contrary to expectations. To control the macroscopic effects of the stock market, further analyses the transactions of capital gains tax-exempt stocks and non-exempt stocks. The turnover rate of exemption stocks is higher than that of the non-exempt stocks. In the case of transaction turnover, the two results are not consistent. However, the latter result is more meaningful because the comparison of exempt and non-exempt reduces distortion by macro effects. Research implications or Originality - To mitigate the impact of capital gains taxes on stock market, government authorities need to consider the gradual expansion of the scope of taxation, the application of separate taxation in the introduction of capital gains, the reduction tax rate on transfer income of listed shares, and the reduction tax rate on long-term holdings.

Piston Crevice Hydrocarbon Oxidation During Expansion Process in an SI Engine

  • Combustion chamber crevices in SI engines are identified as the largest contributors to the engine-out hydrocarbon emissions. The largest crevice is the piston ring-pack crevice. A numerical simulation method was developed, which would allow to predict and understand the oxidation process of piston crevice hydrocarbons. A computational mesh with a moving grid to represent the piston motion was built and a 4-step oxidation model involving seven species was used. The sixteen coefficients in the rate expressions of 4-step oxidation model are optimized based on the results from a study on the detailed chemical kinetic mechanism of oxidation in the engine combustion chamber. Propane was used as the fuel in order to eliminate oil layer absorption and the liquid fuel effect. Initial conditions of the burned gas temperature and in-cylinder pressure were obtained from the 2-zone cycle simulation model. And the simulation was carried out from the end of combustion to the exhaust valve opening for various engine speeds, loads, equivalence ratios and crevice volumes. The total hydrocarbon (THC) oxidation in the crevice during the expansion stroke was 54.9% at 1500 rpm and 0.4 bar (warmed-up condition). The oxidation rate increased at high loads, high swirl ratios, and near stoichiometric conditions. As the crevice volume increased, the amount of unburned HC left at EVO (Exhaust Valve Opening) increased slightly.

Freon Gas흡착 및 열처리에 의한 담배조직의 물리적, 역학적 특성변화연구 (Changes in Physical and Mechanical Properties of Freon-Adsorbed and Heat - Treated Leaf Tobacco)

  • In the tobacco industry, it is important to study the change of mechanical property occurring the expansion process. The purpose of this study is to attain basic data for development of a tobacco expansion method. 1 . Freon gas was adsorbed to tobacco under various conditions of temperature, relative humidity and pressure, and then the amount of freon gas adsorbed was analyzed by GC. Freon adsorption rate of Burley 21 was more than that of By104 at the same condition and about 17 $\pm$ 1% moisture content produced better adsorption rate. 2. Freon adsorbed sample were heated to about $150^{circ}C\;to\;230^{\circ}C$ in a drying oven and recycle duct form about 2 to 30 seconds, and then the change of mechanical property were measured. Heated leaf was damaged when the tissue was pressed by the force of above $0.5x10^8dyn/cm^2$. The optimum condition of no damage of the sample was below the temperature of 15$0^{\circ}C$ and heating time of 10 seconds. It was more economically advantages to treated sample in a recycle duct than to be in a drying oven. By this process, the specific volume of the heated sample was increased from 80 to 110 percent in comparison to that of untreated sample.
