고속/정밀 위치제어시스템의 모델링 및 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Modeling and Control of High-Speed/High-Accuracy Position Control System)

  • This paper presents a dynamic modeling and a sliding mode controller for the high-speed / high-accuracy position control system. Selected target system is the wire bonder head assembly which is used in semiconductor assembly process. This system is a reciprocating one around the pivot point that consists of VCM(voice coil motor) as a actuator and transducer horn as a bonding tool. For the modeling elements, the system is divided into electrical circuit, magnetic circuit and mechanical system. Each system is modeled by using the bond graph method and united into the full system. Two major aims are considered in the design of the controller. The first one is that the horn must track the given reference trajectory. The second one is that the controller must be realizable by using the DSP board. Computer simulation and experimental results show that the designed sliding mode controller provides better performance than the PID controller.

  • This paper proposed an optimal plate spring design for the optical image stabilizer in mobile phones. The voice-coil motor (VCM) with plate spring is the smallest, lowest-cost solution for auto focus on the market today and it is also the simplest to implement. The VCM is selected in this paper for auto focusing. However, the design process is complex due to the many design variables coupled to each other and some constraints of each directional motion caused by the characteristics of plate spring. Because of the complex formulation of the design objective, a plate spring design is proposed through the design of experiments to find the optimal design satisfying design constraints.

  • A method to focus the object in camera system by applying the Hill climb algorithm from optical lens moving device (VCM; Voice coil motor) is proposed. The focusing algorithm from VCM is focus on the object but in these criteria is a well-known drawback; the focus is good only at same distance objects but the focus is bad (blur image) at different distance objects because of the DOF (Depth of focus) or DOF (Depth of field) at the optical characteristic. Here, the new camera system that describes the Reflector of free curvature systems (or Diffractive Fresnel lens) and the partition of focusing window area is proposed. The method to improve the focus in all areas (different distance objects) is proposed by new optical system (discrete auto in-focus) using the Reflector of free curvature systems (or Diffractive Fresnel lens) and by applying the partition of all areas. The proposal is able to obtain good focus in all areas.

  • Nowadays, the improvement and development of Multi-media, information and communication technology are rapidly processed. And many products, for example, digital camera, digital camcorder, and PDA, are used for them. They need large data storage capacity and small size, light storage system. Due to that, many studies and researches in data storage system have been carried out. Especially, micro drive system was presented by IBM.(1) However, its system is expensive and uneasy to be portable. In ODD technologies, 1 inch drive system is not yet or in processing status.(2) If to be possible and to be come up, it is cheap than HDD system and easy to transfer information. In this paper, a miniaturized actuator(about linch) is designed and tested for ODD system. Specially, it is adapted for NFR(Near-field Recoding) system using SIL(Solid Immersion Lens). It is the dual-servo actuator which consists of a coarse actuator and fine actuator. Its actuating force generation method is VCM(Voice Ceil Motor). The fine actuator has 4-wire suspensions and bobbin wrapped by coil and includes focusing motion as well as tracking motion. The coarse actuator has an actuating coil and V-grooved guide mechanism. Also, the characteristics of the designed actuator is estimated by sine-swept mode and LDV(Laser Doppler Vibro-meter).

VCM의 제어 및 제진 장치 응용에 관한 연구 (Study on the control of VCM and its application to the vibration isolator)

  • 엔진 및 회전기기의 진동은 선체의 피로도를 증가시켜 내구성을 저하시키는 원인이 된다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 엔진 및 회전기기와 선체사이에는 댐퍼를 부착하여 진동을 최소화 하고 있다. 일반적으로 선박에 부착하는 댐퍼는 수동형 댐퍼로 중 고주파의 특정 진동영역에 대하여 제진 특성을 갖도록 설계되어있지만 저주파영역에서는 그 효과를 기대하기 힘들다. 이에 본 연구에서는 보다 광대역의 진동신호에 대해 높은 제진특성을 얻기 위하여 VCM을 이용한 능동형 제진 장치를 개발하였다. 제진장치를 제어하기 위해 라우스휴리츠 안정조건과 한계감도법을 이용하여 PID제어기를 구성하였고, 제어기 출력은 2상한과 4상한 초퍼회로를 이용하여 VCM을 구동할 수 있도록 하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실제 실험을 통하여 제어알고리즘과 제어장치의 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • Since most of small form-factor drives have a load/unload mechanism and the flying height of the head is getting lower as the capacity of disk drives increases, the load/unload velocity becomes one of the important factors to ensure the reliability of the load/unload mechanism. To control the load/unload velocity accurately, velocity sensing is essential. In this paper, we introduce a very practical method that acquires the load/unload velocity from the back electromotive force (BEMF) of a voice coil motor (VCM) and propose a calibration method for measuring the BEMF from a given circuit. Moreover, the effect of calibration error and temperature variation on the measurement of BEMF is shown by simulation. Then, this present method is applied to the load/unload velocity controller and is verified from the experimental result.

  • This paper presents a macro/micro flip chip mounting head system for precise force control. In the proposed macro/ micro system, the macro actuator is conventional do servomotor with a ball screw mechanism and the micro actuator is a voice coil motor(VCM) that consists of four NdFeB magnets and a winded moving coil. For force control, a sensitive strain-gauge force sensor is mounted in the micro actuator.   • 전자기력을 이용한 소형 회전 무빙 자석 타입 보이스 코일 구동기를 소형 이동 로봇을 위해 개발하였다. 1개의 자석과 1개의 코일 그리고 1개의 요크로 이루어진 간단한 구조이다. DC 모터와 같이 선형으로 근사화한 이론적인 모델링으로 성능을 예측하였고, 유한 요소 해석 프로그램으로 모터 상수와 복원력 상수를 계산하여 자석과 코일 사이의 공극에 따른 성능을 예측하였다. 시작품을 제작하여 실험을 통하여 60Hz 에서 공진 주파수를 가지고 주파수 대역폭이 80Hz를 가짐을 확인하여 모델링을 검증하였다. 그리고 정적으로 1.5V 입력 전압으로 약 20 deg의 회전을 확인하였다. 제안된 구동기는 개루프 제어가 가능하여 회로 구성을 간단히 할 수 있다.

소형 유도무기 날개 작동기용 보이스 코일 모터의 최적 설계 (Optimization of Voice Coil Motors for a Small Guided Missile Fin Actuator)

  • 본 연구에서는 직구동방식의 보이스 코일 모터를 이용한 유도무기 날개 작동기의 최적 설계를 진행하였다. ANSYS Maxwell 상용프로그램으로 전자기장 해석을 수행하여 토크 성능 및 보이스 코일 모터의 특성을 예측하였으며, 운용 각도 범위에서 날개에 작용하는 공력부하가 가장 큰 구간인 양끝단에 해당되는 각도에서 최적화 설계를 수행하였다. 또한, 작동기의 주요 설계 변수를 선정하고, 최적화 설계를 위하여 반응면 기법(Response Surface Method)을 사용하였다. 반응면은 2차 함수로 구성하였고 2차 반응면 구성에 널리 쓰이는 중심합성법을 바탕으로 수치실험점들을 선정하였다. 구성된 반응면의 적합성은 수정결정계수로 판단하였으며, 최종적으로 최적화로 구해진 토크값은 전자기장 해석을 통한 토크값과 거의 동일함을 확인하였다.

PZT를 이용한 광 정보저장기기용 액추에이터의 트랙 추적제어 (Track-following Control of an Optical Pick-up Actuator Using PZT)

  • This paper proposes a swing-arm type dual-stage actuator, which consists of a PZT actuator for fine motion and a VCM(voice coil motor) for coarse motion, for an SFF ODD(small form factor optical disk drive), in order to achieve fast access speed and precise track-following control. Over the past few decades there have been a lot of researches related to the VCM and dual-stage actuator. In this paper, we focus our attention on the design and control of the PZT actuator. Due to the dual cantilever structure. the PZT actuator can generate precise translational tracking motion at its tip to which an optical pickup is attached. and the effect of hysteric behavior of the PZT element is reduced. The dynamic model of the PZT actuator is derived by using the Hamilton's principle, and verified by comparing it with the experimental frequency response. The sliding mode control is designed in order to be robust against modeling uncertainties. Simulations and experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the suggested control scheme.
