This research is aimed at being a cornerstone to elicit the evaluation methodology of systematic and objective lighting design process on the basis of investigation of documentation and interviews on lighting design of architecture which is drawing more and more attention in an architectural field. In evaluating lighting design in architecture, such factors as appropriate illumination, quality of light, completion degree, reflection of use, visual amenity, understanding, amiability, artistic value, recognition, regional conditions, and extent of glare are to be more considered than anything else. In so far as general sectors of society show ever-increasing interest in lighting design, developments in both its quality and its quantity are also expected; thus, evaluation items shown in this research will be useful in appraisal of interior and exterior lighting of architecture.

This study aimed at developing the through processing system of questionnaire works for public participating village appraisals. With the data-base system of standardized questions menu pool developed in the previous study, the system was developed using Visual Basic 6.0 and Access 97 and consisted of 3 subsystems; Questionnaire Design, Data-in, Analysis/Presentation. Using the system developed in this study, questionnaire works for village appraisal was carried out at the 3 sample villages and processed. The questionnaire results were compared with resources evaluation results from another past study at the same sample villages, which showed much accordance between them.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the concept of self-care in elders with dementia through a review of nursing literature and to provide more understanding of the definition and perspectives of the concept of self-care notion in elders with dementia. Methods: The technique developed by Walker and Avant was used as a guide in analyzing the concept of self-care. Results: Attributes of self-care in dementia may include a single or group of actions needed for sustaining life, a personal effort to maintain functional independence while minimizing other's assistance, an outcome behavior from the person's interaction with inter-personal and/or contextual environment, and a functional ability that may decline in parallel to cognitive impairment. Antecedents of self-care in dementia may include at least presence of a certain degree of cognitive appraisal for the self-care needs, self-willingness for the self-care action, spatial and visual orientation, cultural pre-conception of the self-care behavior, presence of environmental context/equipment available for self-care, and sufficient time available. The consequences may include sustaining of life, feel of satisfaction, achieving independence, extended life expectancy, increased self-confidence, decreased caregiver distress and/or burden, savings in health care costs. Discussion: Defining attributes and antecedents and consequences of self-care in dementia identified in this study provided empirical ground of a middle-range theory of self-care for a clinical population with dementia and generated possible hypotheses to be tested in future studies.

개별공시지가는 현재 자동화 산정 프로그램인 ALPA(Automatic Land Price Appraisal System)에 의해 지가를 산정하고 있다. 그러나 자동화 시스템은 지가를 자동적으로 산출한다는 장점이 있지만 지가의 계산만이 가능하고, 토지특성의 자동 추출에 관한 기능의 부재와 비교 표준지에 대한 취사 선택기능이 없는 등 정확도나 효율성 면에서 많은 문제점을 드러내고 있다. 이러한 문제점에 기인하여, 현재 개별공시지가를 조사ㆍ산정하는데 1년에 약 400억 소요되어 엄청난 국가예산이 소요되고 있다. 또한, 실무자들의 현장 조사와 수작업에 의한 토지특성 조사ㆍ기재로 인하여 개별공시지가 검증과정에서 발견되는 오류 필지의 상당 부분이 토지특성조사 착오로 나타나고 있어 토지특성 조사의 객관성과 정확성이 결여되고 있다. 따라서, 객관적이고 정확한 토지 특성조사와 효율적으로 공시지가를 자동 산정하기 위해서는 토지특성을 정확하게 자동으로 추출할 수 있는 방법론이 시급한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 토지특성 조사 중 객관성과 정확도 측면에서 가장 문제가 되고 있는 필지의 형상특성과 항(방위)특성에 대해 GIS 소프트웨어인 ArcGIS와 Window기반의 Visual Basic을 이용하여 토지특성을 자동 추출할 수 있는 시스템 프로토타입을 구현하였다. 그리고, 자동 추출된 토지특성을 현행 토지특성과 비교ㆍ분석을 통하여 정확도와 효율성을 제시하고자 한다.

12주령 랫트의 양측 난소를 적출한 후, 난소적출이 골다공증 형성에 미치는 영향을 이해하고자 본 연구를 시행하였던 바 아래와 같은 결과를 얻었다. 난소적출 후 매주 골소실이 일어나기 시작하였으며 5주부터 시작하여 7주에서는 정상대조군에 비하여 골소실의 증가가 두드러지게 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면 랫트의 난소를 적출하여 여성호르몬의 결점을 유발하면 난소적출 후 5주부터 시작하여 7주에는 골다공증이 발생되었다.

Purpose - This study illustrates research product industrial engineering, which needs to be promoted to encourage knowledge intensive businesses. Research traditions related to industrial business products and a fuzzy multi criteria decision approach in technology management for product design industries have undergone continuous changes over time. However, there is no clarity on the present situation, and there is a need to reform business enterprises. Research design, data, and methodology - Using fuzzy theory and appraising multi-goal plans, the manner of promoting the competitive advantage of industrial businesses is analyzed using a case study. In the case study, various aspects are examined, such as product design and manufacture, fuzzy set decisions with multi attribute policy making, flaws in the present system, and a review of the related literature. Results - New fuzzy and multi criteria designs can improve the existing keyboard by solving product problems, resulting in a clear and durable typeface for a creative LED keyboard. Conclusion - Using a fuzzy set with multi attribute policy-making influences the achievements appraisal system and can help achieve the anticipated strategy goal of product design.

The focus of this research was to devise a conceptual methodology for drone usage and to assess the viability of safety checklist items specific to drone application in safety oversight. The appraisal was grounded in a focus group interview involving professionals from construction management and safety fields. The proposed process was segmented into four stages: 1) pre-flight phase for flight plan development, 2) drone flight phase for safety condition inspection utilizing checklist items, 3) post-flight phase for visual asset analysis, and 4) documentation and management phase. Furthermore, the research scrutinized the applicability of 32 distinct safety checklist items for drone operations. The primary aim of this investigation was to probe the possible deployment of drones as part of construction safety inspections at work sites. However, it bears mentioning that subsequent research should strive to gather a more extensive sample size through questionnaire surveys, thereby facilitating quantitative analysis. Administering such surveys would yield more comprehensive data compared to a focus group interview, which was constrained by a limited participant count. In summation, this study lays a foundational groundwork for understanding the potential advantages and challenges associated with integrating drones into construction safety management.

본 연구의 목적은 도시내 필지 단위의 지가산정과 그 결과의 시각적 표현을 위한 자동화 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 현재 필지별 공시지가는 건교부의 ALPAS 프로그램으로 매년 산정 되지만, 시스템이 매우 번잡하고, 도시공간분석과 도시계획을 지원하는 기능을 제공하지 못해 개선되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 지가계산을 위해 뉴럴네트워크(Neural Network)이론을 도입하였으며, Matlab 4.0 어플리케이션으로 계산 프로그램을 작성하였다. 계산 결과의 공간표현을 위해 ArcView GIS를 도입하였으며, 두 어플리케이션의 통합은 DDE(Dynamic Data Exchange)방식으로 통합하였다. 이는 Matlab을 서버로 설정하고, ArcView를 클라이언트로 설정함으로써 가능하였다. 사례연구는 진주시를 대상으로 하였으며, ArcView창의 메뉴에서 동명을 선택하면, Matlab에서 해당 동의 네트워크 모형을 구축하고, 필지 속성자료로 네트워크를 교육한다. 그 다음 ArcView 창에 고도제한, 미관지구, 도로 및 공원지정에 의한 지가 변동을 시뮬레이션할 수 있도록 버튼을 추가하여, 자동적으로 계산과 결과의 시각화가 가능한 시스템을 구축하였다. 이 시스템은 부수적인 보완을 거친다면, 도시계획을 지원하기 위한 시스템(Planning Support System)으로 활용 가능할 것이다.
