여대생의 콘택트렌즈 착용 및 관리 실태에 따른 안구건조증과 눈 피로 (Dry Eye Syndrome and Ocular Fatigue according to the Status of Contact Lens Wearing and Management among Female University Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine dry eye syndrome and ocular fatigue according to the status of contact lens wearing and management among female university students. Methods: The subjects were 195 female university students wearing contact lenses. Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) and Virtual Reality Symptom Questionnaire (VRSQ) were used to determine the level of dry eye syndrome and ocular fatigue. The SPSS/WIN 21.0 program was used for analysis of data. Results: Significant differences in the level of dry eye syndrome were observed according to the period of case solution change (F=3.36, p=.037) and the reasons for the change of lens (F=4.56, p=.004). In ocular fatigue, significant differences were observed according to the price of lens (F=3.53, p=.031), rinse in storing lens in a case (t=-2.57, p=.011), and learning about contact lens (t=-2.01, p=.046). A significant positive correlation was observed between dry eye syndrome and ocular fatigue in the subjects. Conclusion: The results of this study show that some subjects have problems in wearing and management of contact lenses. Therefore, an education program related to contact lenses should be provided to contact lens wearers to improve the status of wearing and management of contact lenses.

한국 교육용 기능성 게임의 역사와 발전 방향 고찰 (A Study on the History and Development of Serious Games for Education in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 교육용 기능성 게임을 1995년부터 2020년까지 3개 시기로 구분하여 분석하고 그 특징을 도출하였다. 한국의 교육용 기능성 게임의 실패 원인을 사회적 환경, 제작 환경, 게임 디자인, 문화적 측면에서 나누어 분석하였고, 기술 수준과 학습 효과, 그리고 게임성과의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 기술 수준과 재미, 교육적 효과에 의한 상관관계 분석을 통해 기술의 난이도, 게임의 플랫폼은 학습 효과와 상관이 없으며, 학생들에게 익숙하고 접근하기 쉬운 캐주얼 게임 방식, 그리고 재미와 학습효과 간에 균형을 잘 맞추는 것이 상업적 성공에 중요한 요인이라는 것을 확인하였다.

3D 가상현실에서 예비교사의 수업연습을 위한 물리적 환경 및 절차적 모형 개발 (Developing a physical environment and a procedural model for pre-service teachers' teaching practice in 3D virtual reality)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 3D 가상공간인 세컨드라이프에서 예비교사의 성공적인 수업연습을 위한 물리적 환경 및 절차적 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서 수행한 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수업 연습 관련 이론 탐색 및 문헌 연구를 통해 성공적인 수업연습을 위한 필수조건들을 탐색하였으며, 이 조건들로부터 수업연습을 위한 절차적 모형의 시안을 개발하였다. 둘째, 세컨드라이프에서 수업연습을 위해 필요한 교실의 물리적 구성요소를 개발하였다. 개발된 교실의 물리적 구성요소는 교실공간, 칠판, 교사용 책걸상, 학생용 책걸상, 출입문, 창문, 게시판, 프리젠테이션 도구 등이었다. 셋째, 세컨드라이프에서 수업연습을 위해 필요한 의사소통 도구를 탐색하였다. 탐색 결과, 텍스트 대화 도구, 음성 대화 도구, 노트카드 사용 도구, 공지사항 사용 도구 등이 의사소통을 위해 필요한 요소로 결정되었다. 마지막으로, 세컨드라이프내의 교실 안에서 의사소통 도구를 활용하여 예비교사의 수업연습을 수행하였다. 이 수행결과에 기반하여 세컨드라이프에서의 예비교사의 수업연습을 위한 절차적 모형을 완성하였다. 이 연구는 예비교사들에게 실제적 수업연습(field-based teaching practice)에 앞서, 3D 가상공간인 세컨드라이프에서 실험적 수업연습(laboratory-based teaching practice) 경험을 가능하게 하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

단일 PSD를 이용한 실시간 3차원 모션캡쳐 시스템 개발 (Development of a Real Time Three-Dimensional Motion Capture System by Using Single PSD Unit)

  • Motion capture systems are gaining popularity in entertainment, medicine, sports, education, and industry, with animation and gaming applications for entertainment taking the lead. A wide variety of systems are available for motion capture, but most of them are complicated and expensive. In the general class of optical motion capture, two or more optical sensors are needed to measure the 3D positions of the markers attached to the body. Recently, a 3D motion capture system using two Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) optical sensors was introduced to capture high-speed motion of an active infrared LED marker. The PSD-based system, however, is limited by a geometric calibration procedure for two PSD sensor modules that is too difficult for common customers. In this research, we have introduced a new system that used a single PSD sensor unit to obtain 3D positions of active IR LED-based markers. This new system is easy to calibrate and inexpensive.

Research on the Influence of the Use of VR Technology in Dance Creation on the Willingness of Dance Directors to Use: Focusing on the Ease of Cognition and the Mediating Effect of Usefulness

  • In the field of dance creation, the use of film and television skills, cyberspace, action sets, computer graphics and other technology and media technology have made the creative environment for dance art that it rapidly improves and presents a new situation. Especially in the dance creation part, VR technology can show many possibilities and can be used as a tool to fully satisfy the choreographer's intention and imagination. Therefore, this study analyzes the acceptance model of virtual reality technology in dance creative education, and we will examine the effect of social influence, shared trust, innovation, interest, and self-efficacy on perceived usefulness and perceived ease. Second, we will examine the effect of perceived usefulness and perceived ease on intention to use. The study is targeted at ordinary dance creators who currently reside in Hebei Province, China. The survey was conducted for approximately 30 days from March 16th to April 17th. The total number of valid samples collected was 377. The results of the identification of the hypotheses between variables based on the questionnaire data are as follows: Firstly, social influence, shared trust, innovation, interest, and self-efficacy have a positive impact on perceived usefulness, perceived ease. Secondly, perceived usefulness, perceived ease has a positive effect on the intention to use. In view of the above research results, the theoretical significance and limitations of this research and the future research directions are discussed in depth.

지적장애 학생을 위한 VR 기반 요리하기 기능성 게임 개발 및 적용 효과 (Development and Applied Effects of VR-based Cooking Serious Game for Students with Intellectual Disabilities)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 지적장애 학생을 위한 가상현실 기반 요리 활동 기능성 게임(VR-Cook)을 개발하고, 그 효과성을 검증하는 것이었다. 이에, ASSURE 모형을 활용하여 VR-Cook을 개발하였고, 지적장애 학생 20명을 대상으로 효과성을 검증하였다. 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 10명씩 배치하였으며, 통제집단에는 전통적인 중재를 제공하였고, 실험집단에는 전통적 중재와 VR-Cook을 결합한 중재를 제공하였다. 평가는 중재 전, 중, 후에 총 3회 실시하였고, 평가 자료는 반복측정 이원 분산분석으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, VR 기능성 게임을 활용한 실험집단이 통제집단보다 요리 활동에 대한 학습과 수업 태도에서 유의미한 향상을 나타내었다.

Effectiveness of the Infectious Disease (COVID-19) Simulation Module Program on Nursing Students: Disaster Nursing Scenarios

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop an emerging infectious disease (COVID-19) simulation module for nursing students and verify its effectiveness. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental study was conducted with 78 under-graduate nursing students. A simulation module was developed based on the Jeffries simulation model. It consisted of pre-simulation lectures on disaster nursing including infectious disease pandemics, practice, and debriefings with serial tests. The scenarios contained pre-hospital settings, home visits, arrival to the emergency department, and follow-up home visits for rehabilitation. Results: Disaster preparedness showed a statistically significant improvement, as did competencies in disaster nursing. Confidence in disaster nursing increased, as did willingness to participate in disaster response. However, critical thinking did not show significant differences between time points, and neither did triage scores. Conclusion: The developed simulation program targeting an infectious disease disaster positively impacts disaster preparedness, disaster nursing competency, and confidence in disaster nursing, among nursing students. Further studies are required to develop a high-fidelity module for nursing students and medical personnel. Based on the current pandemic, we suggest developing more scenarios with virtual reality simulations, as disaster simulation nursing education is required now more than ever.

Digital Distribution in Preparation for the 4th Industrial Revolution: Focused on the Beauty Industry

  • Purpose: After using the Internet, the world is changing through several paradigms, and the retail industry, which is essential to living in the world, is also changing rapidly. In this review paper, the requirements that the retail industry should consider and prepare in accordance with the rapidly changing paradigm were reviewed according to the current situation of the times. Research design, data, and methodology: It is a review of technological development using PRISMA flow diagram, retail change, and necessity in April 2022, and a review of the digital environment to be applied to the retail industry in the future. Results As the current situation and changes of retail, and the development of IT technology, reviews on the retail business applying the 4th Industrial Revolution, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence were collected, and the direction of the retail industry was suggested. Conclusions: The direction for the retail industry in preparation for developing technologies was presented. In addition, this study is a review paper that suggests the need for research on active introduction of new technologies to the beauty market that is very close to human life and economically helpful as IT technology for the 4th industrial revolution develops rapidly.

지능형 사이버 훈련장의 기술 동향 (Technological Trends in Intelligent Cyber Range)

  • As the interest in achieving an intelligent society grows with the fourth industrial revolution's development, information and communications technologies technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things, virtual reality, information security, and blockchain technology are being actively employed in different fields for achieving an intelligent society. With these modifications, the information security paradigm in industrial and public institutions, like personal sensitive data, is quickly changing, and it is exposed to different cyber threats and breaches. Furthermore, as the number of cyber threats and breaches grows, so does the need for rapid detection and response. This demand can be satisfied by establishing cyber training programs and fostering experts that can improve cyber security abilities. In this study, we explored the domestic and international technology trends in cyber security education and training facilities for developing experts in information security. Additionally, the AI technology application in the cyber training ground, which can be established to respond to and deter cyber threats that are becoming more intelligent, was examined.

  • 예술과 미디어 기술을 융합한 새로운 장르의 공연콘텐츠 시장의 확장은 전통적인 무대미술 표현범위의 한계를 넘어 창의적인 시공간적 표현을 자유롭게 하며 공연예술분야 내 블루오션으로 성장하고 있다. 이러한 시대적 변화와 요구에 따른 공연예술 산업 발전에 이바지할 예술 기술 융합 콘텐츠 제작이 가능한 융합 인재 수요가 급증하고 있다. 이에 따라 대학의 무대미술 전공 관련학과에서는 기존의 미술교육 외 시대에 상응하는 무대영상 및 다양한 미디어 매체 기술(가상현실. 홀로그램, 인터렉티브 모션센서)등을 공연예술 분야 시각화 과정에 접목시키는 역량제고를 위한 교과목 개발이 시급하다고 판단했다. 본 논문은 최근 10년간 미디어기술 융합공연 사례분석을 통하여 구체적인 기술융합 무대미술 전공 교과목 개발에 관하여 연구하고자 한다. 무대미술과 미디어 기술 융합교육 시도는 기존의 전통적인 무대미술 개념을 기반으로 작품성과 더불어 창조적인 시각적 표현의 한계를 뛰어넘는 융합인재 양성의 초석이 될 것이다.
