장소성 강화를 위한 무섬별리문학관 공간스토리텔링 방안 연구 (A Study on the Storytelling Method of Muesom Byeolli Literature Museum to Enhance the Placeness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 무섬마을을 무섬별리문학관으로 공간스토리텔링하는 것이다. 지역문학관의 중요성을 인식하고 무섬마을의 장소성 강화를 위해 닫힌 공간의 문학관이 아닌 열린 공간의 무섬별리문학관을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 무섬마을을 분석하고, 그 가치와 의미를 살폈다. 이론적 고찰과 연구 대상의 분석에 따라 무섬별리문학관의 공간을 구성하여, 조지훈과 관련된 이야기로 방문객이 장소감을 느끼고, 장소성으로 이야기를 완성해가는 주체가 되도록 하였다. 이를 위해 연인의 공간, 사유의 공간, 배려의 공간, 치유의 공간으로 구성하고, 사랑, 마을, 밥상, 유희로 공간을 스토리텔링하여 문학콘텐츠와 문학작품 배경인 마을의 공간을 극대화하였다. 이는 지역의 이미지 제고와 브랜드 가치를 높이기에 좋은 자연과 문화, 문학이 융합된 복합문화공간이 될 것이다.

1970년대 '한국 민속촌' 건립 과정과 시대적 의미 고찰 (Development of Korean Folk Village in 1970s and its Historical Meaning)

  • Korean Folk Village was founded in 1974 as the first open-air museum in Korea. It consists of over one hundred traditional Korean houses and buildings. Most of structures in the Village were reproduced or newly constructed in traditional style. Some houses were used as craft shop and folklore performance. Preservation of vernacular architecture by the government began in the late 1960s in Korea. The development of the Village was initiated by the central government for the sake of attracting both the foreign and domestic tourists. Park Chung-hee administration focused on national culture to justify their dictatorship. The government drove a very rapid economic growth in the 1970s and Korean society was in the midst of modernization leaving many traditional landscapes behind in the memory. The Village was aimed to appeal the Korean people's nostalgia and at the same time to combine their folk into the modern nation.

  • Some projects being in force by the Ministry of Government Administration & Home Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry for farm village area activation offers experience activity of various form to city dwellers, and to farm village inhabitants, affirmative effect is expected in aspect that activation becomes possible for a lot of visitors. But, to farm village(rural district) area activation that huge budget and effort carried out successfully, there are some items that specialist, administration and the persons concerned must inspect together now. First, to project for farm village area activation succeeds; leading participation of inhabitants should be premised. Second, that stagnated economy revives is as rightful result that appears in case farm village area activation effort succeeds. But, can drop more highlights like the value pursuit of life in case put success or failure of all businesses in income enlargement. Third, because inhabitant cultivates own in making process, the attachment and pride for area can be inculcated. Doing not become focus is set to economical logic to do, the heritage of area as well as history culture, must consider that apply eco-museum concept that magnify nature heritage and industry heritage. Fourth, actually the plan period given usually is too shortly than received huge budget. Furthermore, in case it carries out by desirable inhabitants leading type so. Project that not consider the period that is cost to the statement of inhabitants' active opinion and finding out a point of compromise may be hard to get desirable result.

체험형 박물관의 일본 사례 조사연구 (A Case Study of Museums by Experience in Japan)

  • The function and role of museum has changed focused on the experience program and visiter's participation in this time. In Comparison with Korean museums, like this visiter's personal experience has special effects through experience programs of museum in Japan. So, I researched cases of Japan and the survey on experience museum programs should summarized three characteristics as followings implied cultural desire about museum directly or indirectly. 1. Experience programs base on the rural community, identity, and tradition. 2. Boso village museum and Tokusima experience museum harmonized with out-space and institutions, prepare various programs, exhibition, and selling of collections. 3. Through experience programs classifying into visiter's experience at first hand and expert's rehearsal according to difficulty of the job, it is sufficient about visiter's demands.

Image Making As a Planning/Design Principle: A Case Study of Andong Municipal Museum Complex (AMMC)

  • This study addressing the underlying strategies for Andong municipal museum complex development is in timely view that Andong has obtained a worldwide reputation as a treasury of traditional Korean Confucian culture. Thus far, there has been a tendency that various local museums are proposed to meet architectural aspirations architects and users commonly hold. Overall, though, the major role they play in making overall city image has not been considered in a systematic manner. Based on Lee's (2001) two previous studies, this study summarized the utility of cognitive distance and cognitive map concepts, which are proposed by Kevin Lunch (1976) to evaluate city image, in planning Andong municipal museum complex (AMMC). Sample is stratified into city residents and outsiders, and also into the general public and design-related professionals to see if there is any group difference in constructing their mental image. Three major findings are obtained. First, familiarity, so-called the degree of knowing, is the function of the length of stay in a designated area. That is, the longer people stay in Andong, the more likely they are familiar with its overall environmental aspects. Second, mental proximity of Andong municipal museum complex relative to existing cultural landmarks is closely related to the degree of how people value those landmarks in terms of their significance. Dosan Seowon and Hahoe folk village are most highly valued, which means higher proximity. Third, functional diversity turned out to be the most important design dimension, while display mechanism are least valued. Cognitive simulations of this sort are meaningful in that projected composite image might be a rough first approximation of true public image.

장소의 문화화를 타겟으로 한 농촌마을 권역종합정비사업 모델 - 영천시 가상권역 사업을 중심으로 - (Rural Village Development Project Model on Target for Strengthening Culture of Place)

  • This study deals with rural village development project of Gasangri, Yeongcheon city area, based on the use of the cultural factors and strengthening them in study area. Unlike other cases of today's Korean rural village development projects, this plan keenly concerns not only for tourists but also for the village people. Since culture means the quality of life also, this project especially deals with 'community', 'well-being', and 'convenience' for the inhabitants. On the other hand, it attempts to connect with "Cyan Museum", which is the first grade art gallery remodelled from closed school, to make village of culturally abundant atmosphere. In result, seven sub-projects of the expansion of basic living foundation, and two improvement of landscape in area have planned. Among stereotype of rural development projects and similar programs of tourism, the project makes difference on targeting for the meaning and resource of place culture.

  • 성매매집결지 '선미촌'이 위치해있는 노송동은 전주시 구도심 중 한곳으로 현재 도시재생 대상지로 선정되어 민관이 주도하는 다양한 사업이 진행되고 있는 지역이다. 선미촌 한 가운데에는 본 연구의 대상인 노송늬우스박물관이 위치해있다. 이 지역은 낙후된 집창촌으로 낙인되어 외부인의 접근도 뜸한데다 인근에 사는 노송동 주민들에게도 드러내고 싶지 않은 곳이지만 한편으로 성매매여성들과 관련 상인들은 삶을 이어가고 있는 복잡한 이해관계가 얽힌 공간이다. 전주시는 문화예술과 인권마을이라는 키워드를 앞세워 노송동의 다양한 관점들을 엮어내고자 다양한 테마의 전시관과 마을박물관을 개관했다. 주목할 점은 그 과정에서 주민참여를 시도하여 노송동 일대의 물리적·사회적 변화를 이끌어내고자 하였다는 것이다. 본 연구는 노송동에서 진행되는 일련의 도시재생 사업 가운데 노송늬우스박물관을 연구대상으로 삼아 박물관 전시에 참여한 지역주민과 지역예술가, 문화활동가, 시청 담당 공무원 등을 인터뷰하였고 이를 토대로 노송늬우스박물관의 형성배경과 절차, 내용 등을 살펴보았다. 또한 마을박물관으로서 해당 전시가 갖는 의미를 분석하고 향후 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다.

체험경제이론(4Es)에 따른 지역 체험전시관의 경쟁력 강화방안 : 전북 삼례문화예술촌 체험전시관을 중심으로 (Strategies to Increase Competitiveness of Local Experience Space: A Study of the 4Es in the Experience Space of Sam-Rae Arts Village in Wanju-gun, Jeollabukdo)

  • 최근 역사적으로 의미를 가지는 근대건축문화유산을 활용한 체험전시관들이 부상하고 있는데, 본 연구에서는 문화자원을 활용한 지역 체험전시관이 경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이에 전북 완주군 삼례문화예술촌의 체험전시관을 대상으로 체험경제이론의 체험요소(4Es)에 따라 전시관의 성격을 분석하였다. 연구방법은 공무원, 체험관담당자, 전문가 세그룹을 대상으로 심층면접조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 비쥬얼미디어아트미술관은 엔터테인먼트, 김상림목공소는 교육, 책박물관은 현실도피, 책공방북아트는 엔터테인먼트, 디자인뮤지엄은 심미, 문화카페오스는 심미로 나타났다. 또한 영리성을 추구하는 전시관은 김상림목공소, 책공방북아트센터, 책박물관, 문화카페오스이며 비영리성을 추구하는 전시관은 디자인뮤지엄, 비쥬얼미디어아트미술관으로 나타났다. 연구결과 지역체험전시관의 경쟁력 강화방안으로 첫째, 지역민의 문화향유를 위한 공공성 확보방안으로 작품 순환전시, 작품 보조설명 시설구축, 문화적 장소표현을 해야 한다. 둘째, 관광객확보를 통한 수익창출 방안으로 다양한 체험프로그램 제공 및 공간 확보, 기념품 샵 운영 등을 해야 한다. 셋째, 삼례체험전시관의 홍보마케팅 전략방안으로 모바일 앱 개발 및 SNS 등을 활용하여 다양한 이벤트를 실시해야 한다.
