엔진 가진력의 감도해석을 이용한 차실 소음 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Noise Reduction of Compartment of Vehicle Using Sensitivity Analysis of Engine Exciting Force)

  • Vehicle interior noise has become increasingly important in this recent years. The noise of a vehicle is one of the important problems in a vehicle design. The interior noise is caused by various vibration sources of vehicle compartment. The booming noise of a vehicle can be significantly affected by vibrations transmitted from engine excitation forces to the vehicle body. Specially, we are interested in the state of transmission paths such as engine mounts to reduce noise in a vehicle compartment. In this paper, we have been calculated the contribution of each transmission path such as engine mounts to interior noise. To identify contribution of each input sources and transmission paths to output, the effectiveness of each input component to output is calculated. Sensitivity analysis is carried out for investigation of contribution to output due to input variations. With the simulation of magnitude and phase change of inputs using vector synthesis diagram, the trends of synthesized output vector are obtained. As a result, we suggested sensitivity analysis of vector synthesis as a technique of prediction and control for noise in a vehicle compartment.

광로차 보상회로가 부착된 마이켈슨 간섭계에 의한 탄성파 신호검출 (Detection of Elastic Waves Using Stabilized Michelson Interferometer)

  • 탄성파에 의한 미소 동적 변위를 측정하기 위하여 안정화 회로가 부착된 Michelson 간섭계를 개발하였다. 안정화 회로는 외부 진동신호에 따른 광로차의 교란을 보상하기 위하여 압전구동기가 부착된 기준거울을 사용하였다. 안정화 회로를 사용함으로써, 간섭계는 외부 진동신호의 영향을 줄일 수 있었고, 항상 직각조건(quadrature condition)을 만족하여 광검출기의 출력신호가 최대의 감도와 선형성을 유지할 수 있었다. 검출가능한 최소 변위는 10MHz 대역에서 0.3nm 이었다. 개발된 간섭계를 사용하여 유리관 파괴 및 강철구 충격에 의한 진앙점에서의 변위를 검출하여 이론적으로 계산된 값과 비교하였다.

  • This paper presents a the method for estimating the noise source contribution on the road noise of the vehicle in a multiple input system where the input sources may be coherent with each other. By coherence function method, it is found that the biggest part of the noise source in the road noise is generated by structural vibration on the mechanical-acoustic transfer functions of vehicles. This analysis is modeled as four input/single output system because the noise is generated with four wheels that mechanism of the road noise is very complicated. The coherence function method is proved to be useful tool for identifying of noise source. The overall levels of the interior noise be coherence function method are compared with those measured and calculated by the frequency response function approach using mechanical excitation test. The experimental results have shown a good agreement with the results calculated by the coherence function method when the input sources are coherent strongly each other. The estimation of the road noise indicates that significant coherent can be achieved in the vehicle interior noise.

Dynamic Characteristics of the Radial Clearance Flow between Axially Oscillating Rotational Disk and Stationary Disk

  • Dynamic characteristics of the clearance flow between an axially oscillating rotational disk and a stationary disk were examined by experiments and computations based on a bulk flow model. In the case without pressure fluctuations at the inlet and outlet of the clearance, parallel and contracting flow paths had an effect to stabilize the axial oscillation of the rotating disk. The enlarged flow path had an effect to destabilize the axial oscillation due to the negative damping and stiffness for outward and inward flows, respectively. It was shown that the fluid force can be decomposed into the component caused by the inlet or outlet pressure fluctuation without the axial oscillation and that due to the axial oscillation without the inlet or outlet pressure fluctuation. A method to predict the stiffness and damping coefficients is proposed for general cases when the device is combined with an arbitrary flow system.

소형 추적 레이다 와이어 하네스 설계 (Wire Harness Design of Compact Tracking Radar)

  • 소형 추적 레이다는 여러 구성품들이 유기적으로 연결되어 있어서 와이어 하니스 설계가 매우 중요하다. 구동부 위인 김발을 지나서 안테나와 초고주파수신기로 연결되는 배선은 연결되는 path에 따라서 전기적 특성에 영향을 준다. 또한 김발의 구동 성능에도 영향을 미친다. 디지털 신호가 많은 신호처리부 및 서보부와 연결되는 케이블은 전자파 노이즈에 의하여 신호처리부의 CPU가 오동작을 하지 않도록 대책을 마련해야 한다. ◯◯ GHz 대역의 신호전송을 위한 케이블은 온도, 진동, 충격에 대한 설계가 반영되어야 한다. 좁은 공간에 와이어 하네스를 설계하기 위해서는 컨넥터의 크기를 최소화 해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 소형 추적 레이다의 와이어 하네스 설계에 고려해야 할 사항들에 대하여 설명하고 설계 방안을 제시하였다.

강선율 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Design of Rifling Rate)

  • Rifling force has a torsion impulse effect on the gun tube and thus generates undesirable vibration of the gun tube about its bore axis, putting additional stress on the projectile. High rifling force at the muzzle of the gun tube may adversely influence the trajectory of the projectile. And, the service life of rifled gun barrels is known to depend on the rifling force. Rifling force along the path of the projectile in the longitudinal direction of the gun tube can be described with projectile mass, projectile velocity, gas pressure curve and rifling angle. Under the same conditions, the character of the rifling of the gun barrel decisively influences the rifling force curve. To reduce the above mentioned harmful effect, locally distinct maximum of rifling force has to be avoided and maximum rifling force needs to be minimized. The best way to minimize the maximum rifling force is to design a rifling angle function so that the rifling force curve has a near trapezoidal shape. In this paper a new approach to make the optimal rifling force curve is described. The rifling angle determining the rifling force is developed by combined Fourier series and polynomial function to satisfy both the convergence and boundary condition matching problems.

ANALYSIS PROCESS APPLIED TO A HIGH STIFFNESS BODY FOR IMPROVED VEHICLE HANDLING PROPERTIES

  • This paper describes the process of analyzing vehicle stiffness in terms of frequency band in order to improve vehicle handling. Vehicle handling and ride comfort are highly related to the systems such as suspension, seat, steering, and the car body design. In existing analytical processes, the resonance frequency of a car body is designed to be greater than 25 Hz in order to increase the stiffness of the body against idle vibration. This paper introduces a method for using a band with a frequency lower than 20 Hz to analyze how stiffness affects vehicle handling. Accordingly, static stiffness analysis of a 1g cornering force was conducted to minimize the deformation of vehicle components derived from a load on parts attached to the suspension. In addition, this technology is capable of achieving better performance than older technology. Analysis of how body attachment stiffness affects the dynamic stiffness of a bushing in the attachment parts of the suspension is expected to lead to improvements with respect to vehicle handling and road noise. The process of developing a car body with a high degree of stiffness, which was accomplished in the preliminary stage of this study, confirms the possibility of improving the stability performance and of designing a lightweight prototype car. These improvements can reduce the time needed to develop better vehicles.

500MW급 화력 발전기 냉각수 온도에 따른 고정자 권선 절연재의 흡습 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Water Absorbtion Characteristics of Generator Stator Bar Insulation by Cooling Water Temperature in 500MW Capacity Power Plant)

  • The mechanical integrity of generator stator windings is one of the critical point because the electric power is generated and conducted to power system through these windings. De-mineralized water is used to cool stator bars during the normal operation of generator in large power plants because the water cooled method has highest cooling efficient. Water absorption of bar insulation is progressed by several causes such as generation of water leak path by corrosion, delamination of insulation by vibration, and inadequate water treatment, etc.. Reliable water absorption diagnostics of generator stator bar is important to ensure the availability of power plant and to reduce maintenance cost by generator accident. It is described that the water absorption characteristics for generator stator bar insulation used in 500MW capacity standard fossil power plant by cooling water temperature. It is verified that the management of stator cooling water temperature is one of the important factors to decrease water absorption rate of generator stator bars.

모바일 에드-혹 센서 네트워크를 위한 에너지 효율적 라우팅 기법 개발 (Development of Energy Efficiency Routing Technique for Mobile Ad-hoc Sensor Network)

  • The development of USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technology is creating numerous application areas. Although a network configuration with fixed sensors was the norm in the past, the coexistence of mobile and fixed sensor nodes is a new trend. Fixed sensor networks focused on the energy efficiency of nodes, but the latest studies consider guaranteeing the mobility of nodes and maintaining their connectivity, while remaining energy efficient at the same time. This paper proposes a routing protocol for a mobile ad-hoc sensor network that improves the mobility, connectivity and energy efficiency of nodes while allowing for the management and maintenance of a large number of nodes even in a complex communication environment where mobile and fixed nodes coexist. An algorithm for multi-hop multi-paths, a technique for topology reconfiguration by node movement prediction and vibration sensors, path setting for a large number of nodes, and efficient data transfer technology have been introduced to implement the modified LEAHC-AOMDV protocol. Furthermore, the excellence of this protocol was verified through a comparative experiment with the conventional LEACH protocol.

MR Damper의 Gap Size에 따른 제어성능 분석 (Analysis of Control Performance in Gap Size of MR Damper)

  • 본 연구에서는 MR Damper의 제어력을 결정하는 다양한 요인들 중, 유로폭(Gap Size)을 다르게 선정하여 그에 따른 제어력의 변화를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 Gap Size 1.0mm, 1.5mm인 MR Damper 두 대를 제작하고 인가전류와 가진조건을 정하였으며 그에 따른 동하중 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 최소제어력은 Gap Size 1.0mm 조건이 Gap Size 1.5mm 조건보다 3.2배 높았으며 최대제어력은 Gap Size 1.0mm 조건이 Gap Size 1.5mm 조건보다 2.3배 높았다. 또한, 인가전류에 따른 제어력의 증가폭은 Gap Size 1.0mm일 때 34N, Gap Size 1.5mm일 때 12.7N으로 나타났다. Gap Size가 커질수록 전체 제어력과 인가전류에 따른 제어력의 증가는 감소하였다. 두 개의 MR Damper의 동적범위를 확인해 본 결과 Gap Size 1.0mm일 때 평균 2.3, Gap Size 1.5mm일 때 평균 2.8인 것을 볼 때 두 MR Damper의 준능동제어장치로써 사용가능성을 확인하였다.
