유한 접지판 위의 정규화 시험장 감쇠량 비교 (Comparison of Normalized Site Attenuation on Finite Ground Plane)

  • 본 논문은 유한 접지 도체판 위의 시험장에 대해서 접지 도체판의 edge가 NSA(Normalized Site Attenuation)에 미치는 영향에 대해서 검토하였다. 사용하는 안테나를 광대역 미소다이폴안테나로 가정하여 방사성 방해파의 측정시설로 사용하는 시험장의 크기가 방해파의 측정환경으로 적합한지를 평가하기 위한 기준이 되는 NSA의 이론치를 GTD(Geometric theory of diffraction)법을 적용하여 계산하였다. 본 논문에서는 유한 접지 도체판 위의 송 수신 안테나가 상호 영향을 받지 않을 경우, 접지 도체판의 크기가 NSA에 미치는 영향을 수평편파와 수직편파에 대해서 측정거리 3 m법을 이용하여 고찰 하였다. 수치적으로 검토한 결과, 수평편파에서는 일반적인 규격에서 규정하고 있는 타원평면의 규격 정도의 접지 도체판에서도 edge의 영향을 무시 할 수 있으나, 수직편파의 경우에는 edge의 영향을 1 dB 이하로 줄이기 위해서는 유한 도체 접지판의 크기를 크게 가져가야 한다는 것을 확인하였다.

주어진 회전 수열에 대한 최소 히스토그램 (Minimum Histogram for Given Turn Sequences)

  • 히스토그램 H는 가장 왼쪽 수직 에지와 가장 오른쪽 수직 에지를 연결하는 기저라고 불리는 하나의 수평 에지를 가진 x-단조 직교 다각형이다. 여기서 직교 다각형은 수평과 수직 에지들만을 가진 다각형이고, x-단조 다각형 P는 x-축에 수직인 모든 직선이 P와 많아야 두 번 교차하는 성질을 만족하는 다각형이다. 히스토그램 H의 테두리 선을 따라 반시계방향으로 움직이면, 꼭짓점에서 왼쪽 회전과 오른쪽 회전의 수열을 얻는다. 역으로, 꼭짓점에서의 회전들로 이루어진 수열이 히스토그램에 의해서 구현될 수 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 주어진 회전 수열을 구현하는 히스토그램을 찾는 문제를 다룬다. 특별히 면적을 최소화하는 히스토그램과 구속 상자를 최소화하는 히스토그램을 찾을 것이다. 두 문제 모두 선형 시간 알고리즘들에 의해 풀리는 것을 보일 것이다.

Sobel Intensity Profile을 이용한 차선 추출에 관한 연구 (A Study of Lane Extraction using Sobel Intensity Profile)

  • Lane extraction is basically required for a driving car to understand its external road environments via a camera. In this paper, a lane extraction method using "Sobel Intensity Profile" is described. The Sobel intensity profile is obtained using only vertical edge components of Sobel edge outputs, and used to yield fitted lines for lanes. The RANAC algorithm is applied to fit lines using only inliers. Experimental results have shown the reliability of the proposed lane extraction method.

상악 측절치의 교모에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Attrition of Maxillary Lateral Incisors in Korea)

  • This study was aimed to help the construction of esthetic dental prosthesis by investigation of the factors affecting on the atterition position and attrition angle of maxillary lateral incisors. Therefore 197 complete cast of maxillary and mandibualar extracted form the student of K. college were subjected for this study, and result throught the study are as follows. 1. None attrite rate of the maxiilary right lateral incisors was about 16.2% and that of the maxillary left lateral incisors was about 32.4% of examined teeth. 2. Throught mesiodistal attrition area 1) It showed that right lateral incisors was the most frequence in attrition of mesial area of incisal edge, and left lateral incisors was the most frequence in attrition of mesial and mid area of incisal edge. 2) It showed that square type arch was more frequence in attrition of all incisal edge, and ovoid type arch was more frequence in the attrition of mid area of incisal edge, and ovoid type arch was more frequence in the attrition of mid area of incisal edge, and taper type arch was more frequence in the attrition of mesial area of incisal edge than it of average frequence of right lateral incisors, by dental arch type. 3) It showed that square type arch was more frequence in the attrition of all area and mid area of incisal edge, and ovoid type arch was more frequence in the attrition of mid area of incisal edge, and taper type arch was more frequence in the attrition of mesial and distal area of incisal edge than it of average frequence of left lateral incisal, by dental arch type. 4) Sex, vertical overlap, horizontal overlap, incisal guide angle, did not affect significantly to throughout mesiodistal attrition, statistically 3. Throughout labiolingual attrition quantity. 1) It showed that throughout labiolingual attrition quantity was more attrition in order of taper type arch < ovoid type arch < square type arch, by dental arch type. 2) It showed that throughout labiolingual attrition qauntity was more attrition when the length of horizontal overlap is shorter than it of other, by horizontal overlap. 3) Throughout labiolingual attrition quantity of right lateral incisors showed that male was more attrition than it of female. 4) Vertical overlap, incisal guide angle, sex on left lateral incisors did not affect significantly to throughout labiolingual attrition, statistically. 4. Attrition angle 1) It showed that average attrition anlge of right lateral incisors were $30{\pm}13.02$ degree, and it of left lateral incisors were $26{\pm}13.37$ degree. 2) It showed that taper type arch have a bigger attrition angle than it of average of lateral incisors, and square tape arch have a smaller attrition angle than it of average of lateral incisors, by dental arch type. 3) It showed that horizontal overlap of 2.1mm above have a bigger attrition angle than it of average, by horizontal overlap. 4) It showed that female have a bigger attrition angle it of male, by sex.

자연영상에서 적응적 문자-에지 맵을 이용한 텍스트 영역 검출 (Text Region Detection using Adaptive Character-Edge Map From Natural Image)

  • 본 논문은 자연영상에서 문자의 크기와 방향에 무관한 적응적 문자-에지 맵을 이용한 에지-기반 텍스트 영역검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 첫 번째로, 에지 이미지로부터 에지 레이블을 얻고, 레이블 이미지로부터 문자를 찾기 위해 배열문법을 이용하여 적응적 문자-에지 맵을 적용한다. 선택된 레이블은 이웃 레이블과의 거리를 기준으로 클러스터 된다. 그 결과 텍스트 후보 영역이 얻어진다. 최종적으로, 텍스트 후보 영역은 경험적 규칙과 텍스트 영역에 대한 수평/수직 프로파일을 분석함으로서 검증된다. 실험결과 제안한 알고리즘은 다양한 문자의 크기 변화, 문자열의 방향, 그리고 복잡한 배경에서도 강인한 텍스트 영역 검출 결과를 보였다.

구멍뚫기법을 이용한 수직형 롤러 분쇄기용 테이블 라이너의 안전성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safety Estimation of Table Liner for Vertical Roller Mill Using HDM)

  • The vertical roller mill is the important machine grinding and mixing various crude materials in the manufacturing process of portland cement. Table liner is one of grinding elements of vertical roller mill and is subjected to the cyclic bending stress by rollers load and the centrifugal force by rotation of table. It demands $4{\times}10^7$ cycle but has $4{\times}10^6{\sim}8{\times}10^6$ cycle. It fractures at the edge of grinding path of outside roller. The repair expense for it amounts to $30\%$ of total maintenance of vertical roller mill. Therefore, this study shows the fracture mechanism of table liner for vertical roller mill using HDM and fatigue analysis and makes the estimation for safety of vertical roller mill.

수직선 특징을 이용한 이동 로봇의 자기 위치 추정 (Localization for Mobile Robot Using Vertical Line Features)

  • We present a self-localization method for mobile robots using vertical line features of indoor environment. When a 2D map including feature points and color information is given, a mobile robot moves to the destination, and acquires images from the surroundings having vertical line edges by one camera. From the image, vertical line edges are detected, and pattern vectors meaning averaged color values of the left and right regions of the each line are computed by using the properties of the line and a region growing method. The pattern vectors are matched with the feature points of the map by comparing the color information and the geometrical relationship. From the perspective transformation and rigid transformation of the corresponded points, nonlinear equations are derived. Localization is carried out from solving the equations by using Newton's method. Experimental results show that the proposed method using mono view is simple and applicable to indoor environment.

Adaptive Scanning for H.264/AVC Intra Coding

  • In this letter, an adaptive scanning that improves intra coding efficiency in the H.264/AVC standard is proposed. The proposed adaptive scanning utilizes the prediction directions (modes) that include the horizontal and vertical edge information in a block. Depending on the prediction directions, the proposed method uses three scanning methods: zigzag scanning, horizontal scanning, and vertical scanning. In the proposed method, horizontal and vertical scanning are used in vertical and horizontal prediction modes, respectively, and the normal zigzag scanning in the H.264 standard is used in all other intra prediction modes. The proposed method reduces the bit rate by approximately 2.5% compared with H.264/AVC, without the degradation of video quality.
