The temperature of vertical pump bearing metal in the pumped storage power plant has been high enough to shutdown the unit. Attempts such as decreasing the oil supply temperature, increasing the bearing oil gap etc. were performed to resolve the problem, but the issue was not resolved. Finally, the high bearing metal temperature was corrected by adjusting the bearing preload. The preload is formed by the oil wedge between the journal surface and bearing pad surface and the degree of preload is determined by the machined radial clearance, assembled radial clearance, rotor journal diameter etc. This paper focuses on the analysis of the preload depending on the bearing parameters and the result of the modification of the bearing following the analysis. The bearing metal temperature dropped as much as $20^{\circ}C$ which was similar as expected by software calculation. But the shaft vibration could increase when the assembled radial clearance is excessive. So, the adjustment of the bearing preload for the tilting pad type journal bearing should be carefully performed.

The object of this research is to examine the factors leading to intercompany win-win by finding the antecedents and consequences that affect a supplier's fairness perception. We assume that the antecedent factors of a supplier's fairness perception are vertical coordination, cooperation support, information sharing, and legalistic plea. We assume that the consequential factors of a supplier's fairness perception are supply chain dependence and supply chain flexibility. The object industry is an electronic parts manufacturing company. We tested our model by using the SPSS 17.0 and the LISREL 8.5. For measurement validation, we verified by using a confirmatory factor analysis and a reliability analysis. For hypothesis analysis, we did a path analysis with the LISREL 8.5. By checking the modification index and expecting parameter changes, we modified the model. First, the buyer's vertical coordination had a positive effect on the supplier's distributive fairness perception and procedural fairness perception. Second, the buyer's cooperation support had no effect on the supplier's distributive fairness perception and procedural fairness perception: we suppose that the buyer's requests were burdensome, although they cooperated with the supplier. Third, the buyer's information sharing had a positive effect on distributive fairness perception but had no direct effect on procedural fairness perception. Fourth, the buyer's legalistic plea had a negative effect on the supplier's distributive fairness perception. and a negative effect on the supplier's procedural fairness perception at a 0.1 significance level. Fifth, although procedural fairness perception had no direct effect on supply chain dependence, fairness perception had an effect on supply chain dependence and supply chain flexibility both directly and indirectly.

In this paper, the results of empirical methods and the numerical analysis were compared and investigated on the lateral displacement due to embankment in soft soil. The empirical methods gave different results so the possibility of lateral displacement could not be determined only by the empirical methods. The numerical analysis could be used so effectively that its result showed useful lateral and vertical displacements with depth and distance.

Vietnam has exerted intense efforts to ameliorate its commercial environment for becoming WTO member and attracting FDI as next China. Vietnam has become WTO member and Vietnam's system and law relating to international commmerce has been changed for global standard. Vietnam hope to become international commerce leader in ASEAN. so Korea should take diverse efficient measures to assist Vietnam's continuous industrial development and advanced system in international commerce. the two nations should more mutually assist in mega international commerce round negotiation to intensify the two nation's international commerce policy in the international commerce system.

Technology transfer is recognized as a critical issue to strengthen industri competitiveness in today's global and knowledge-based economies. The vertical transfer of technology from R&D labs to industries is becoming more emphasized than the horizontal company-to-company transfer of commercialized technology. The network and cooperation among technology transfer intermediaries are becoming more important with the increasing demand of the comprehensive technology transfer services. This paper presents the configuration models for technology transfer from universities and research institutes to industries. The configuration models are classified and discussed from the viewpoint of information flow, and also technology and knowledge transfer.

We proposed a novel fractal-space multiplexing holographic memory system using moving window and double-focusing lens, which can eliminate crosstalk due to two neighboring moving window rows in the vertical direction of the conventional moving window holographic memory system, and demonstrated its feasibility through optical experiments.

This study aims to suggest the ways of mutually beneficial cooperation between large companies and small companies in the field of telecommunication services. To achieve this goal, it attempts to introduce mutually beneficial cooperation plans based on horizontal relationships rather than vertical relationships among large companies and small companies. Research contents will suggest the similarities and differences of individual telecommunication companies by analyzing mutually beneficial cooperation plans of large companies and small companies based on domestic three telecommunication companies. It examines the perceptions of people who are engaged in large companies and small companies in order to enhance the recognition on the mutual cooperation of large companies and small and medium companies. Based on research results, it attempts the activation methods of mutual cooperation of large and small companies.

After the 1980s, as the economy was growing rapidly and the real estate market was active, a large increase in population was supplied to the city. Accordingly, the national apartment housing market is located in the form of Urban Housing Culture. On the other hand, with time, the supply apartment houses became superannuated and the residential environment became poor. Therefore, the environment of old apartment houses has been changed to improve by reconstruction. Despite this, reconstruction incurred not only a lot of construction waste, but also problems of environmental degradation, noise, traffic congestion, increasing number of households, and so on. Recently, the housing law has changed, and vertical extension remodeling focused on Small/Medium Town House is underway. This has been changed in response to the demand. This is one of essential parts in the remodeling field for the future, even though it has some problems in how uses existing buildings. Therefore, this study analyzed occurrence risk factor for each type through research materials and case analysis regarding the vertical extension remodeling of apartment housing. In addition, the relative importance was determined through questionnaires and interviews from constructors, designers, and experts in the field.
