부속실 급기가압 시 압력특성 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pressure Change during the Pressurization to the Elevator Lobby)

  • 본 연구에서는 공동주택 화재 시 피난시나리오 및 화재실 배연개구부 유무에 따른 부속실 급기가압 시스템의 성능 및 효용성을 평가하기 위해 각 실의 압력변화 특성을 실험적으로 측정하였다. 그 결과, 화재실문과 계단실문 개폐 시나리오 및 배연개구부의 유무에 따라 압력변화 특성이 크게 달라졌으며 최저설계차압으로 재안정화 되기 전에 부속실 과압 또는 부압 발생, 도어클로져 닫힘 기능 저하 등의 현상이 나타났다. 또한. 급기댐퍼의 설치위치보다는 화재실 배연개구부의 존재가 규정방연풍속 유지에 필수적인 것으로 나타났다.

세탁기 드럼 내부의 습기 방출 메커니즘에 대한 수치 연구 (Numerical Study on the Discharge of Humidity in the Drum of a Washing Machine)

  • Washing machine manufacturers typically advise consumers to maintain the relative humidity in the drum less than 80% for three days after the termination of a washing cycle in order to prevent bacteria proliferation. A vent installed in the back of a washing machine is used to release moisture to satisfy this condition. Up to now, the design and installation of the vent have been based on experiments without understanding its roles and physical phenomena. In this study, various CFD results are presented in order to explain the physical mechanism of moisture release in a washing machine. Two methods of moisture release (diffusion and convection) were studied; diffusion was found to be the dominant process in removing moisture. Experiments were also performed to validate this behavior. In addition, this study will aid in the efficient design of vents to keep the relative humidity low inside the drum.

Isolation and Characterization of an Extremely Thermophilic Sulfur-metabolizing Bacterium from a Deep-sea Hydrothermal Vent System

  • A water sample was taken from a black smoker chimney of a deep-sea hydrothermal vent by using an unmanned submersible "Dolphin 3K". The temperature of the hydrothermal fluid from the black smoker was $276^{\circ}C$. After isolation by repeated serial dilutions, An extremely thermophilic bacterial strain was selected. The strain designated as DT1331, was an anaerobic, non-motile, coccoid shaped bacterium with about 0.5 to $1.0\;\mu\textrm{m}$ in diameter. The strain DT1331 could grow up to $93^{\circ}C$, but the optimum temperature of this strain was $80^{\circ}C$. The growth occurred in the pH range of 4.5 to 8.5 and the optimum pH was 6.0. The strain DT1331 required 1% to 5% NaCl for growth and cell lysis was observed below 1% NaCl concentration. The bacterium could grow on polypeptides such as tryptone, peptone, soytone and on proteins such as casein or gelatin. However, no growth was observed on single amino acids, sugar and organic acids. Hydrogen gas was detected slightly during growth. This bacterium obligately required elemental sulfur and hydrogen sulfide gas was produced during growth.

  • 21C 산업의 발전과 더불어 급증하고 있는 가스 산업은 사용의 편리성과 위험성을 공존하고 있다. 따라서 현장의 안전관리자에게 가스폭발의 위험성을 교육하기 위한 실험용 폭발부스를 설치하기 위하여 폭발압력에 의하여 부스의 붕괴를 방지하기 위한 일환으로 방출구를 설계하는데, NFPA 68의 배기모델을 이용하여 방출구를 설계하였다. 가연성가스가 LPG인 경우 $2.8297m^2$, NG인 경우 $3.0518m^2$로 계산되었다.

  • Outside wall systems we lost much energy from the dew of thermal bridge and unsuitable adiabatic construction. The air vent wall system can make reduce cooling loads from the outside wall in summer. The basic concept is connected with buoyant force by the difference of density. An external surface of a wall absorbs solar radiation, and transfers it to the air in the cavity. The warmed air gets buoyant force. So the warmed air is released through the top opening and cooler outside air replaces the space in the cavity. So because of the cavity and the openings, the cooling load reduction by natural ventilation is believed to be considerable. The purpose of this study is finding optimal length of air cavity by numerical analyses.

  • Ventilation through air vent system in a building envelope is expected to be an effective measure to release solar radiation. An external surface of a wall absorbs solar radiation and transfers it to the air in the cavity. The warmed air gets buoyant force. So when openings are provided at the top and bottom of the cavity, the warmed air is released through the top opening and cooler outside air replaces the space in the cavity. This reduces the further heat transmission into the built environment. This natural ventilation effect seems to be steady and strong. So because of the cavity and the openings, the cooling load reduction by natural ventilation is believed to be considerable.

초음속 유동장 내 벤트 혼합기에 관한 수치해석 연구 (A Computational Study of Flowfield for a Vent Mixer in Supersonic Flow)

  • 초음속 연소에서 혼합 효율을 높이면서 전압력 손실을 줄일 수 있는 혼합기에 관한 연구가 수십 년동안 진행되어 왔으며, 본 논문에서는 이를 만족할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 혼합기를 고안하여 그 성능을 수치해석을 통하여 분석하였다. 후면 계단 혼합기를 비교 대상으로 압력과 등밀도선, 유선구조를 분석하였다. 공동이나 탭에서 발생하는 충격파가 후류로 전파되는 것과 달리, 벤트 혼합기의 구멍에서 발생하는 충격파는 벤트 혼합기 끝단에서 형성되는 팽창파에 의해 전파되지 못하며, 후류부의 재순환 영역으로 인해 경계층이 증가하며 이로 인해 후면 계단 방식에 비해 약한 충격파가 형성된다. 따라서 충격파로 인한 전압력 손실을 줄일 수 있으며, 구멍을 통한 공기 유입은 다수의 재순환 영역을 형성하여 혼합 효율을 증대시킨다. 또한 후류부에서 유동 흐름이 전반적으로 안정화되는 것을 볼 수 있다.

  • The vortex ventilation system (VV) which uses a rotating finned swirler installed coaxially with the exhaust duct is a very effective local ventilator. VV can enhance the capture depth by a factor of 3-5 compared to the conventional exhaust hood, in the absence of any solid walls nearby. In real situations there may exist ceiling, side wall and floor, all of which can affect the flow field and suction performance by way of the no-slip condition on the walls. 3D CFD simulation was performed in order to see the effect of the floor on the capture performance of the VV. The presence of floor reduced suction flow velocity, and increased the critical rotational speed which is the rotational speed required for stable vortex formation. Flow velocity profile along the axis could be well approximated by a universal functional form when the distance from the exhaust inlet is non-dimensionalized by the distance to the floor. Capture depth, define by the distance from the exhaust inlet to a point of velocity decreased to 10% of that at the inlet, is reduced by about 10% when the floor distance is 6 times the exhaust hood diameter.

모바일 폰용 마이크로스피커의 음향 및 전기 해석 (Acoustic and Electrical Analysis of Microspeaker for Mobile Phones)

  • In this paper, GUI program for microspeaker system simulation program was developed and verified through closed box, vent box and 6th order bandpass enclosure system. By using the pseudo loudspeaker model concept, TS parameters and rear volume of microspeaker were identified. Their suitabilities were proved by comparing test results with simulations of electrical impedance and sound pressure response curves for the three box types; closed box, vent box and 6th order bandpass box. Also, MSSP was found to be effective regardless of the microspeaker's shape, either circular or rectangular shape. MSSP can be used for the microspeaker system simulation, and can give a general prediction of such as; sound pressure level curve, electrical impedance, diaphragm velocity and displacement curve according to multiple design parameters; diaphragm mass, compliance, force factor, front and rear volume, front and rear port's diameter and length.

층상형(層狀型)의 규장암질(珪長岩質) DIATREME (A Layered Felsic Diatreme near Weolseong, Kyeongsang Nam Do, Korea)

  • 경주(慶州) 남부(南部) 2.8km 지점에는 치술령 화산암층이 분포하며, 이 화산암층 보다 후기에 분출 형성된 distreme이 있다. diatreme은 지름이 1.2km의 원형의 화구로서 화산쇄설물로 충진 되어 있다. 이 화산 쇄설물은 proximal ballistic fall deposits로서 층리를 보여주며, 각 층은 상당히 두껍고 특징적으로 많은 양의 accretionary lapilli가 함유되어 있다. 이러한 특징은 시추에 의해 지표 하부 650m가지 확인되었다. 이러한 특징으로 보아 diatreme은 규장질 magma에 많은 양의 물이 유입되는 환경에서 연속인 분출 활동을 하였음을 의미하고, 화산 활동 기간 중에 연속적으로 화산쇄설물이 퇴적 및 침강 하였음을 의미한다.
