CNC 공작기계의 고속 고정밀 가공을 위한 모서리 속도궤적 연구 (Study on the Velocity Trajectory for High Speed and High Precision Machining of CNC Machines)

  • This paper proposes a method to generate the velocity trajectory which guarantees user specified contour errors at corners for high speed and high precision motion control of CNC machines. The relation among the desired trajectory, system bandwidth and corner contour error are derived. Experiments show that the corner contour error specified by users can be guaranteed with the proposed velocity trajectory.

  • Characteristics of laminar lifted names in coflow jet with various coflow velocities have been studied experimently. USlI1g the fuel nozzle with d=0.254 for the pure propane, liftoff heights are fitted by using power equation with jet velocity. As coflow velocity increases up to 60 cm/s powers of fitting equation steeply decrease. From the result of numerical analysis using the FLUENT, the stoichiometry contour and the axial velocity nondimensionalized by initial jet velocity along the stoichiometry contour are changed with variations of coflow velocities, The change of axial velocity along stoichiometric contour is more sensitive than that of stoichiometric contour, For this reason, powers of fitting equation for liftoff height with jet velocity decreases with the increase of coflow velocity. Using the fuel nozzle with d=4,35 mm for the highly diluted propane by nitrogen, the liftoff height increases with the increase of coflow velocity when coflow velocity is less than the maximum value of initial jet velocity. But when coflow velocity is faster than that, the liftoff height decreases with the increase of coflow velocity.

Analysis of Steady Vortex Rings Using Contour Dynamics Method for Fluid Velocity

  • Most studies on the shape of the steady vortex ring have been based on the Stokes stream function approach. In this study, the velocity approach is introduced as a trial approach. A contour dynamics method for fluid velocity is used to analyze the Norbury-Fraenkel family of vortex rings. Analytic integration is performed over the logarithmic-singular segment. A system of nonlinear equations for the discretized shape of the vortex core is formulated using the material boundary condition of the core. An additional condition for the velocities of the vortical and impulse centers is introduced to complete the system of equations. Numerical solutions are successfully obtained for the system of nonlinear equations using the iterative scheme. Specifically, the evaluation of the kinetic energy in terms of line integrals is examined closely. The results of the proposed method are compared with those of the stream function approaches. The results show good agreement, and thereby, confirm the validity of the proposed method.

  • The characteristics of near wakes of circular cylinders with serrated fins are investigated experimentally using a hot-wire anemometer for various freestream velocities. Near wake structures of the fin tubes are observed using a phase average technique. With increasing fin height and decreasing fin pitch. oscillation of streamwise velocity increases. It file oscillation of lateral velocity decreases. The time averaged V-component velocity distribution of the finned tube is contrary to that of the circular cylinder due to the different strength of entrainment flow. This strength is affected by the distance of (equation omitted) = 1.0 contour lines. (equation omitted) = 1.0 contour line approaches to the wake center line when the fin density is increased. When the distance between (equation omitted) = 1.0 contour lines comes close the shear force should be increased and the flow toward the wake center line can be more strengthened because of the shear force. Factors related to the velocity recovery in the near wake of the finned tube are attributed to tile turbulent intensity, the boundary layer thickness. the position and strength of entrainment process.

An enhanced analytical calculation model based on sectional calculation using a 3D contour map of aerodynamic damping for vortex induced vibrations of wind turbine towers

  • To model the aeroelasticity in vortex-induced vibrations (VIV) of slender tubular towers, this paper presents an approach where the aerodynamic damping distribution along the height of the structure is calculated not only as a function of the normalized lateral oscillation but also considering the local incoming wind velocity ratio to the critical velocity (velocity ratio). The three-dimensionality of aerodynamic damping depending on the tower's displacement and the velocity ratio has been observed in recent studies. A contour map model of aerodynamic damping is generated based on the forced vibration tests. A sectional calculation procedure based on the spectral method is developed by defining the aerodynamic damping locally at each increment of height. The proposed contour map model of aerodynamic damping and the sectional calculation procedure are validated with full-scale measurement data sets of a rotorless wind turbine tower, where good agreement between the prediction and measured values is obtained. The prediction of cross-wind response of the wind turbine tower is performed over a range of wind speeds which allows the estimation of resulting fatigue damage. The proposed model gives more realistic prediction in comparison to the approach included in current standards.

  • We reported the method for the relatively simple equalizing pulse to reduce dynamic false contour. Equalizing pulse is determined by look-up-table and moving direction and velocity of the image. Used lookup-table is a few. If image moves to right or left, necessary LUT is only one for the velocity of 1 pixel/tvfield to right or left. This technique makes the process simple after obtaining motion information.

  • This research is an experimental investigation of the region of the Biased Flow. This experiment was carried out in a circulating water channel, and the results are analyzed by using the PIV technique. The results are presented in velocity vector field, velocity contour and vorticity contour. The results were compared with those of Zdravkovich which were carried out in a wind tunnel. These results will be very useful to verify numerical codes.

  • 최근 임계속도 (critical velocity)는 터널안전 분야의 연구자들로부터 많은 관심을 끌고 있는 주제가 되고 있다. 이러한 임계속도는 화재시 화재연의 역류 (backlayering)를 방지하기 위한 최소유속으로써 지금까지 많은 식들이 제안되고 있으며, 다음의 3가지 식들이 제연팬의 용량을 산정하기 위한 국내 기준으로 고려되고 있다. Froude 수에 기초한 Kennedy 식, Kennedy 식을 수정하여 ${\beta}$ 변수값을 고려한 Tetzner 식, 그리고 초임계속도 (super critical velocity) 개념을 도입한 Wu 식 등이 본 연구의 비교 분석대상이며, 또한 임계속도와 제연팬 용량간의 관계를 보여주는 등고선도 (제연팬 특성도)는 국내 도로터널의 화재시 제연팬의 대수를 산정하기 위한 툴로써 제시되고 있다.

행동궤적의 패턴 분류를 위한 에너지 최소화 모델 (Energy Minimization Model for Pattern Classification of the Movement Tracks)

  • 본 논문은 외부 자극에 대한 생물 행동의 복잡하고 다양한 특징들을 추출하고 분석하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 물 속 생물인 깔따구의 행동궤적으로부터 얻어 낸 속도 벡터의 위상영상에 적응적이고 수리적인 방법인 에너지 최소화 모델을 적용한다. 즉, 다이아지논이라는 약물이 처리되기 전과 후의 깔따구의 행동궤적의 특징을 위상영상으로부터 찾아내어 행동 패턴을 분류하고 이 약물에 대한 깔따구의 적응적 행동 특징을 추출하는 것이다. 특징추출을 위해 도입한 방법은 T. Chan과 L. Vese에 의해 제안된 개선 Active Contour 모델에 근거한 것으로 Active Contour를 진화시키는 과정에서 생성되는 에너지함수 값의 변화를 이용한 것이다. Active Contour 모델이란 주어진 영상에 놓인 커브를 그 커브에 의해 분할된 부분영상들의 에너지 값들의 합을 최소화하는 방향으로 변화하게 함으로써 영상 내 객체의 경계를 찾는 영상분할 방법이다. 깔따구의 행동궤적 데이터는 CCD 카메라를 통해 0.25초 간격으로 약물을 처리하기 전과 후 4일 간을 관찰하여 획득하고, 이 행동궤적 데이터에서 행동의 특징 요소가 되는 속도벡터 성분을 15-20분 간격으로 추출하여 위상영상을 만든다. 그리고 이 위상영상에 Active Contour를 적용함으로써 시간에 따라 감소하는 에너지 함수 값의 그래프에서 구해진 기울기 변화에 대한 수리적 계산과 분석을 통해 깔따구 행동궤적의 특징을 찾고 행동 패턴을 분류한다. 또한, 에너지 최소화 모델은 약물 처리된 깔따구의 반응적인 행동이 이에 적응하고 있음을 효과적으로 보여준다.

Reduction of Dynamic False Contour in PDP using Equalizing Pulses

  • In this paper, we report relatively simple equalizing pulse method for reducing dynamic false contour in PDP. Calculation cost is reduced by limiting pixels to add equalizing pulse and using look-up-table(LUT) for given subfield pattern. Pixels to be modified are determined after comparing selected number of most significant bits(MSB) with those of adjacent pixels. The equalizing pulse amount is determined by consulting LUT, which is for a fixed velocity of 1 pixel/tv field. Even though the suggested scheme does not cover every luminance combination of neighboring pixels, it is expected to work well after appropriate modifications are made according to the velocity.
