  • 전자 산업의 발달과 함께 많은 전자 제어 장치가 차량 내부에 탑재됨에 따라 차량의 기능을 검증하는 것은 더더욱 어려워지고 있다. 차량의 기능 오작동은 인명손실의 우려가 있기 때문에 차량에 있어서 신뢰성은 무엇보다 중요하게 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 차량의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 CAN 통신 기반의 고장 진단 플랫폼을 제안한다. 양산 이후에도 독립적인 테스트 경로를 통한 구조적 테스트를 실시함으로써 차량의 신뢰성은 크게 증가할 것이다. 또한, 별도의 테스트 핀이 필요하지 않기 때문에 테스트 비용을 절감할 수 있다.

리치 저분자 폴리페놀인 Oligonol의 Streptozotocin 투여 당뇨 쥐에서 산화적 스트레스와 관련된 간 손상에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Oligonol, a Low Molecular Weight Polyphenol Derived from Lychee on Oxidative Stress-Related Hepatic Damage in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats)

  • 본 연구에서는 STZ 유발 당뇨 쥐에서 고혈당 및 산화적 스트레스 관련 간 손상 기전에 oligonol의 영향에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 10일 동안 oligonol을 투여한 결과 20 mg/kg oligonol 투여군에서 당뇨대조군에 비해 간 무게 및 간조직의 glucose, ROS, peroxynitrite, 지질과산화물 농도가 유의적으로 감소하였다. 간조직의 항산화 효소 단백질 발현을 측정한 결과 정상군에 비해 당뇨대조군에서 발현 정도가 낮아졌지만 oligonol 투여군에서는 유의적으로 증가하였다. 또한 caspase-3 효소의 단백질 발현은 당뇨대조군에서 증가하였으나 oligonol 투여군에서 그 발현이 억제되었다. 따라서 oligonol의 투여는 STZ-유발 당뇨 모델에서 ROS 및 지질과산화물 생성 억제와 항산화효소 작용의 증가 및 세포 사멸 작용이 있는 caspase-3 발현 억제를 통해 고혈당 및 산화적 스트레스에 의해 유발되는 간 손상에 대한 보호 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다.

(-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate Modulates the Differential Expression of Survivin Splice Variants and Protects Spermatogenesis During Testicular Torsion

  • The anti-apoptotic effect of (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) during unilateral testicular torsion and detorsion (TT/D) was established in our previous study. In mice, the smallest inhibitor of apoptosis, survivin, is alternatively spliced into three variants, each suggested to have a unique function. Here, we assessed how EGCG exerts its protective effect through the expression of the different survivin splice variants and determined its effect on the morphology of the seminiferous tubules during TT/D. Three mouse groups were used: sham, TT/D+vehicle and TT/D treated with EGCG. The expression of the survivin variants (140 and 40) and other apoptosis genes (p53, Bax and Bcl-2) was measured with semi-quantitative RT-PCR. Histological analysis was performed to assess DNA fragmentation, damage to spermatogenesis and morphometric changes in the seminiferous tubules. In the TT/D+vehicle group, survivin 140 expression was markedly decreased, whereas survivin 40 expression was not significantly different. In parallel, there was an increase in the mRNA level of p53 and the Bax to Bcl-2 ratio in support of apoptosis induction. Histological analyses revealed increased DNA fragmentation and increased damage to spermatogenesis associated with decreased seminiferous tubular diameter and decreased germinal epithelial cell thickness in the TT/D+vehicle group. These changes were reversed to almost sham levels upon EGCG treatment. Our data indicate that EGCG protects the testis from TT/D-induced damage by protecting the morphology of the seminiferous tubules and modulating survivin 140 expression.

  • An end beam is one of the most important structural members supporting uncovered freight under in-service loading. In general, it needs to endure over 25 years. However fatigue fracture has occurred at dynamic stress concentration location of the end beam because user's specifications demanded high speed and vehicle manufacturer made the uncovered freight car with comparatively low strength and stiffness. For durability analysis, finite element analysis is performed to evaluate the problem of uncovered freight structure and local strain. The uncovered freight car was operated on actual problematic railroad line to measure dynamic stress versus time history on the critical part from which a crack is initiated often. Rainflow cycle counting method was used to estimate fatigue damage at dangerous area under operating condition. Therefore, this study shows that analytical fatigue life at the end beam can be predicted on the basis of S-N curve and structure analysis and has a fairly good correlation with experimental fatigue life.

  • 차량화재는 엔진과열, 이상연료 주입, 냉각수 부재 등 다양한 원인에 의해 발생할 수 있고 발생 후 연소시간이 매우 짧아 전소 후에야 소화되는 특징을 가진다. 이러한 차량화재는 인명손실보다는 화재확대로 인해 발생장소에 따라 큰 물적 피해를 가져올 수 있어 정확한 원인규명이 이루어져야 책임소재에 관한 분쟁 및 제조사 품질 등의 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 특히 기계부품 파손으로 차량화재가 발생한 경우는 제조사의 생산품 전반에 걸친 품질 및 차량 안전성 문제와 관련이 있으므로 유사 사고가 다시 발생할 수 있는 점이 내재되어 있어 그 심각성은 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 차량 부품의 파손형태 검사 및 재료 물성평가 등을 통해 부품파손에 의한 차량화재 사고에 대한 정확한 원인을 규명함으로써 동일 형태의 차량 안전사고 예방에 기여하고자 한다.

Protective Effect of Taurine on TNBS-induced Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Rats

  • We had previously reported that the protective effect of taurine against indomethacin-induced gastric mucosal injury was due to its antioxidant effects, which inhibited lipid peroxidation and neutrophil activation. In this study, we examined the effect of taurine on reducing the inflammatory parameters of trintrobenzene sulfonic acid (TNBS)-induced inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in rats. In order to induce IBD, ethanolic TNBS was given to rats intracolonically. Then they received 500 mg/kg.day of taurine orally and were sacrificed one week after IBD induction. While ulceration and inflammation of distal colon with formation of granuloma in the vehicle-treated IBD rats two days after administration of TNBS were observed, treatment with taurine ameliorated colonic damage and decreased the incidence of diarrhea and adhesion. also, colon weight as an index of tissue edema, which was mardedly increased in the IBD rats, became significantly lower after administration of TNBS were observed, treatment with taurine ameliorated colonic damage and decreased the incidence of diarrhea and adhesion. Also colon weitht as an index of tissue edema, which was markedly increased in the IBD rats, became significantly lower after taruine treatment. Myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity in the vehicle-treated IBD rats was substantially increased, compared with that of normal control. the taurine-treated animals significantly reduced MPO activity (35% lower) when compared with that of the vehicle-treated animals. Taurine treatment decreased both basal and formyl-methionyl leucyl phenylalanine-stimulated reactive oxygen generation from colonic tissue in the IBD rats. These results suggest that the administration of taurine reduce the inflammatory parameters in this IBD rat model by increasing defending capacity against oxidative damage.

  • Recently in the design of fuel tanks(launch vehicle, ship, automobile) which transport a large amount of liquid in the cargo holds, the structural damage due to liquid-sloshing becomes an important problem. The impact pressure from sloshing is most violent when the liquid motion of a partially filled tank is in resonance with the motion of a system. In this paper, the sloshing natural periods in liquid tanks are estimated for partially filled tanks with various geometries. In addition to, controlled for a launch vehicle with liquid sloshing effect by PD controller and sloshing filter The PD gain and sloshing filter parameter arc determined by optimal algorithm.

  • For the purpose of evaluation the damage repairability of a Frame Type Passenger vehicle which experienced a Low Speed 40% Offset front and rear Crash Test. tests were made according to the RCAR testing procedures. Test results concluded ; (1) The deceleration at C.G(center of gravity) off 6.9∼11.39 was similar to that for the vehicle. The airbag system was found to affect neither the passenger's safety nor the savings of the repairing costs. (2) In order to improve the repairability of the Frame Type Passenger vehicle after collision should be a higher crash performance of the bumper on the RCAR standards.

  • It is important to guarantee the safety of vehicle to minimize the damage to the driver in case of the accidents. In order to inspect and later enhance the safety of vehicle, the owner of the vehicle usually have a vehicle safety inspection. The Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) issues the Comprehensive Performance Inspection Certificate after vehicle inspection. The certificate only specify the legal inspection criteria for safety and measured values of the safety parameters, however, as ordinary driver in lack of expert knowledge about the vehicle is difficult to understand the contents of the Certificate. Thus, in this paper, the authors try to give the information about the inspection results in easier way to understand. This information not only guarantees the owner of the vehicle to better understand the inspection results, but it also gives the opportunity to the driver to deal with the specific problem listed in the results. The methods in this paper are to transform the vehicle inspection data into the non parametric distribution to easily represent the values to the index later on. Also, example indexes are presented to the actually inspected vehicle based on the reference distribution to show the better assessment of the developed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 IoT와 저 전력 장거리 통신(NB-IoT)기술을 적용한 차량관제용 단말기를 개발했다. 본 시스템은 주차중인 차량의 위치, 상태에 대한 정보를 수집하고, 저 전력 실시간으로 차량 소유자의 단말로 차량 상태를 전송하여 차량의 도난을 방지하고, 주행 중인 차량의 경우, 주행 속도, 급제동, 미끄러짐, 충격 등 차량의 1차 정보를 수집하여 서버로 전송하면 서버에서 관련 데이터를 분석하여 교통 정체, 도로 파손 안전사고 발생 등에 대한 2차 정보를 생성할 수 있으며, 주기적 알람 형태로 목적지의 예상 도착 시간을 전송하여 목적지에 차량의 정확한 도착 시간을 알 수 있다. 본 단말 장치는 차량용 IoT 게이트웨이로 차량 내부의 다양한 유무선 센서와 연결될 수 있다. 또한 자동차의 유지관리, 효율적인 운행과 차량들에게서 수집된 데이터를 민간 또는 공공부분에서 유용하게 활용할 수 있다.
