This paper presents collision prediction and avoidance method for AGVS (Automatic Guide Vehicle System). Also, we propose the PO(Right of Path Occupying) with decentralized delay time for collision avoidance. Classified essential element of AGV's working environment is modeled in this paper. Using this model, we propose a new shortest path algorithm using A* search algorithm and obtain the information on AGVs travel time, coordinates and rotation vector. Finally, we use the AGVs information data as input for simulation program. The simulation practice is used in order to evaluate a collision prediction and avoidance, and it has been presented to demonstrate the applicability of the minimize delay time.

To provide active notification and enhance drivers'awareness of their surroundings, a vision-based collision warning system that detects and monitors surrounding vehicles is proposed in this paper. The main objective is to prevent possible vehicle collisions by monitoring the status of surrounding vehicles, including the distance to the other vehicles in front, behind, to the left and to the right sides. In addition, the proposed system collects and integrates this information to provide advisory warnings to drivers. To offer the correct notification, an algorithm based on features of edge and morphology to detect vehicles is also presented. The proposed system has been implemented in embedded systems and evaluated on real roads in various lighting and weather conditions. The experimental results indicate that the vehicle detection ratios were higher than 97% in the daytime, and appropriate for real road applications.
According to the Korean Traffic Accident Analysis System (TAAS), more than 200,000 traffic accidents occur every year. Also, the statistics including auto insurance companies data show 1.3 million traffic accidents. In the case of TAAS, the types of traffic accidents are simply divided into four; frontal collision, side collision, rear collision, and rollover. However, more detailed information is needed to assess for advanced driver assist systems at intersections. For example, directional information is needed, such as whether the vehicle in the car accident way in a straight or a left turn, etc. This study intends to redefine the type of accident with the more clear driving direction and path by referring to the Negligence standards used in automobile insurance accidents. The standards largely divide five categories of car-to-car/motorcycle /pedestrian/cyclist, and highway, and the each category is classified into dozens of types by status of the traffic signal, conflict situations. In order to present more various accident types for auto insurance accidents, the standards are reclassified driving direction and path of vehicles from crash situations. In results, the car-to-car accidents are classified into 33 accident types, car-to-pedestrian accidents have 19 accident types, car-to-motorcycle accidents have 38 accident types, and car-to-cyclist accidents are derived into 26 types.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the injury mechanism of facial injury related to an air-bag's deployment in occupant motor vehicle accident (MVA) by using Hospital Information System (HIS) and reconstruction program, based on the materials related to motor vehicle accidents. Among patients who visited the emergency department of Wonju Severance Christian Hospital due to motor vehicle accidents from August 2012 to February 2014, we collected data on patients with agreement for taking the damaged vehicle's photos. After obtaining the verbal consent from the patient, we asked about the cause of the accident, information on vehicle involved in the accident, and the location of car repair shop. The photos of the damaged vehicle were taken on the basis of front, rear, left side and right side. Damage to the vehicle was presented using the CDC code by analytical study of photo-images of the damaged vehicle, and a trauma score was used for medical examination of the severity of the patient's injury. Among the 309 patients with agreement for an investigation, thirty five (11.3 %) were the severe who had ISS over 15. And also, sixteen (5.2%) derived from the reconstructed data (maximum collision energy, maximum acceleration, delta V) by PC-Crash. As a result, ISS including the facial injuries was affected by the condition. It was high when the number of crash extent, the safety belt was not fastened, and the seating position of occupant and the direction of collision is same. For accurate analysis of the relationship between occupant injury and vehicle damage in MVAs, build-up of an in-depth database through carrying out various policies for motor vehicle accidents is necessary for sure.

In any mobile ad hoc environment, collision amongst mobile objects is always likely to occur unless there is a certain level of intelligence to detect and avoid the collision. This phenomenon of detection and avoidance is the key attribute for safety applications in vehicle to pedestrian (V2P) communications systems. In this paper, we propose a V2P communications concept for collision detection and avoidance.

Necessities of a traffic means work a car in the modern society human to an usability of a life is enjoying. On the other hand, the damage by traffic accident increment the human quotient worked as we were in proportion to the vehicle which increased. Passing an examination moves necessarily on an obstacle to suddenly appear at the fronts if a car travels and the vehicles which stopped suddenly. Dynamic passing an examination about an obstacle turn on Vehicle Emergency Lamp to by hand when is unhurried, and can turn off, but to appear urgently dynamic passing an examination in time human is instinctive, but cannot inform an emergency to a back vehicle, and a rear-end collision occurs. A car we synthesize a speed of a vehicle, and this unit analyzes as we use GPS, and to drive runs Vehicle Emergency Lamp to automatic in the situations that shall turn on emergencies etc. If a speed of a vehicle continuously slows down in too high-speed driving or low-speed driving, or we are stopped, Vehicle Emergency Lamp is always turned on. It was built if we rise again as clearing itself from risk, and a speed of a vehicle judges, and we turn off Vehicle Emergency Lamp to automatic. It runs till rear-end collision sensor operates, and by hand reset does Vehicle Emergency Lamp a driving vehicle collides from behind to a back vehicle or when a driving vehicle was overthrown. It is shortened very much to the chain rear-end collision traffic accident that is a traffic accident of large size if we use this unit. And we did authentication through the experiment which a driver was helpful to unnecessary operation and a relaxed safe driving during drivings.
A car accident on a highway occurs a chain-reaction collision because of a vehicle's fast velocity. In order to prevent it, the accident vehicle should broadcast a safe message to its neighbors. If there are many neighbor nodes, a frame collision probability is high. To solve this, it was proposed for a system as a previous study to send a safe message without frame-collision using separating channels. However, the separation of multiple channels make feasibility low because of increasing hardware's development cost and complexity. In this paper, we proposes a TDMA-based MAC protocol using a single channel. As a result, we show the frame reception success rate of our protocol was almost the same as the previous protocol.
This paper presents a human-centered control algorithm for personalized autonomous driving based on the integration of inverse time-to-collision and time headway. In order to minimize the sense of difference between driver and autonomous driving, the human-centered control technology is required. Driving characteristics in case that vehicle drives with the preceding vehicle have been analyzed and reflected to the longitudinal control algorithm. The driving characteristics such as acceleration, inverse time-to-collision, time headway have been analyzed for longitudinal control. The control algorithm proposed in this study has been constructed on Matlab/Simulink environment and the performance evaluation has been conducted by using actual driving data.

This paper addresses an algorithm of path planning for autonomous driving of a ground vehicle in waypoint navigation. The proposed algorithm is flexible in utilization under a large GPS positioning error and generates collision-free multiple paths while pursuing minimum traveling time. An optimal path reduces inefficient steering by minimizing lateral changes in generated waypoints along a path. Simulation results compare the proposed algorithm with the A* algorithm by manipulation of the steering wheel and traveling time, and show that the proposed algorithm realizes real-time obstacle avoidance by quick processing of path generation, and minimum time traveling by producing paths with small lateral changes while overcoming the very irregular positioning error from the GPS.
