In the high-frequency characterizations of planar circuit components, measurement data may not be physical. It is mainly due to resonance effects concerned with discontinuities which are inevitable for a planar component characterization. In this paper, a novel accurate transmission line characterization method is presented that excludes the resonance effects based on measurement data reconfirmation. For the physically obvious data acquisition near the resonance frequencies of a transmission line, the additional lines with different line lengths are fabricated on the same substrate. The test transmission lines are characterized by using vector network analyzer (VNA) in 100 MHz to 26.5 GHz. It is shown that an accurate transmission line characterization can be achieved with the proposed measurement data reconfirmation technique.

A line parallel to the ground is frequently shown in our daily life, which enables us to guess its direction. Especially, such a guess tends to become clear when a vanishing line of the ground is shown together. In this paper, a vision based pallet measurement method is suggested, which uses a technique for estimating three-dimensional direction of a line parallel to the ground. The technique computes actually a vector heading to intersection of a given imaged line parallel to the ground and the ground vanishing line determined previously on calibrating a measurement camera. Through an experiment of measuring a real commercial pallet with various orientation and distance, we found that the technique could measure the orientation of the pallet correctly and accurately. The technique worked well even though an edge line available on the front plane of a pallet was almost parallel to the ground vanishing line.

논문에서는 타원판의 벡터 중력과 중력 변화율 텐서 반응식을 유도하였다. 타원판의 벡터 중력은 이중 적분으로 표현한 타원판에 의한 중력 퍼텐셜을 각 축 방향으로 미분하여 유도한다. 이중 적분으로 정의된 타원판에 의한 벡터 중력은 복소 그린 정리를 이용하여 타원판 경계를 따라 폐곡선의 선적분으로 변형한다. 최종적으로 타원판 경계를 매개변수로 설정하여 1차원 수치적분을 통하여 타원판에 의한 벡터 중력을 유도한다. 타원판에 의한 중력 변화율 텐서의 xz, yz, zz성분은 타원판의 벡터 중력을 수직 방향으로 미분하여 구한다. xx, yy, xy성분은 이중 적분 형태의 벡터 중력의 수평 성분을 먼저 수평 방향으로 미분한 후 복소 그린 정리를 이용하여 유도한다.

This paper investigates a normal induced voltage according to earth resistivity from distribution lines using calculation method of the normal induced voltage on telecommunication line. The induced voltage according to earth resistivity from distribution lines is verified by vector analysis and EMTP(Electro-Magnetic Transients Program).

A linear method for determining three-dimensional motion of a rigid object is presented. In this method, two three-dimensional line correspondences are used. By using three-dimensional information of the features and observing that the rotation is unique regardless of the translation vector, the two components of motion parameters (rotation and translation) are computed separately. Also in this paper, the solution is given without a scale factor which is necessary in other methods that use only the two-dimensional projective constraints.

This paper presents a vector control of parallel drive, a beatless control and a low switching PWM technique for the propulsion system of Electric car as transient state which are included interrupting line voltage, changing line voltage slowly, suddenly, regenerating light load and starting from backward running. Improved performance and a validation of proposed method is shown by the experimental results using a 1.65MVA IGBT VVVF inverter and inertia load equivalent to 160 tons electric cars through a running and transient state test.

In this paper, the method for dielectric constant and less tangent measurements of microwave substrates using a microstrip line is presented. The two samples of an open-ended line and a short-ended tine are made and complex propagation constant is evaluated from the one-port scattering parameter measurements. This method has been automated fully using a personal computer and a vector network analyzer.

본 논문은 주성분 분석을 이용한 직선 검출 알고리즘을 분석하여 새로운 두 기능이 추가된 개선된 알고리즘을 제안한다. 첫 번째 기능은 검출된 직선을 통해 무효 화소를 제거하고 다시 직선을 검출하는 것이고, 두 번째 기능은 겹치지 않는 블록들에서 직선 검출을 통해 후보 직선들 선택하고, 각 후보 직선의 주변 화소들을 이용해 유효 직선을 검출하는 것이다. 제안된 알고리즘은 정제된 직선 영상에서는 기존 알고리즘보다 적은 계산량으로 더 정확한 직선을 검출하고 있다.

This paper presents an instantaneous space vector modulated voltage source type three-phase soft-switching PFC rectifier using a single auxiliary resonant DC Link snubber for alternative energy utilizations. in the first place, the operating principle of an active auxiliary resonant DC link snubber circuit is described including its unique features. In the next place, the simulation analysis of three-phase soft-switching PWM rectifier is implemented, and the operating performances or the three-phase voltage-fed PWM rectifier treated here, which can operate under the conditions of sinewave line current shaping and utility power factor are evaluated and discussed on tile basis of this simulation results.
