  • Helicopter dynamics are plenty of nonlinearity. A complete mathematical model including propeller dynamics and fortes generated by the propellers is very difficult to obtain. So the method used to design to design a controller is a parameter estimation. Design controller based on variable structure system. This paper deals with LQR control technique to control efficiently, its elevation angle and azimuth one. The purpose of the experiment is to design a controller allows to use a desired elevation angle and azimuth ones. The system model has a helicopter model with 2-degree-of freedom. The simulation results were verified usefulness of controller.

  • This paper proposes the structure and the algorithm of the Fuzzy-Neural Controller(FNNC) which is able to adapt itself to unknown plant and the change of circumstances at the Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC) with the Neural Network. This Learning Fuzzy Logic Controller is made up of Fuzzy Logic controller in charge of a main role and Neural Network of an adaptation in variable circumstances. This construct optimal fuzzy controller applied to the 2-area load frequency control of power system, and then it would examine fitness about parameter variation of plant or variation of circumstances. And it proposes the optimal Scale factor method wsint three preformance functions( E, , U) of system dynamics of load frequency control with error back-propagation learning algorithm. Applying the controller to the model of load frequency control, it is shown that the FNNC method has better rapidity for load disturbance, reduces load frequency maximum deviation and tie line power flow deviation and minimizes reaching and settling time compared to the Optimal Fuzzy Logic Controller(OFLC) and the Optimal Control for optimzation of performance index in past control techniques.

  • A continuous variable structure system control as a DC servomotor trackhig controller is proposed for the improvement of the chattering problems. The stability property of the proposed algorithms is analyzed. The prescribed trackfiig error is gauranteed in the existence of load variations based on the stability analysis.

  • In the VSS control, reaching phase and chattering problem are the main disadvantages. A simple nonlinear sliding surface is proposed to cope with the reaching phase. The chattering problem is alleviated by almost continuous control with the compensation using the infinite closed loop.

  • The Variable Structure System(VSS) will be of much intrest to educators and design engineers who wish to demonstrate and investigate sophisticated position control methods and their applications. This paper describes DC motor position control by means of VSS concept. The control scheme is derived, implemented and tested in the laboratory where IBM AT computer has been used as a digital controller to control a representative servo system. The control system schematic is given and sample results are shown for illustration. This experiment may serve as a basis for further application of VSS.

  • 일반적으로 슬라이딩모드 제어는 외란이나 시스템의 변수변환에 강인한 특성을 가지나, 그 변화의 최대 경계 값을 알아야한다. 그러나, 이 값은 쉽게 얻어질 수가 없다. 퍼지 논리는 잘 정의되어 있지 않거나 복잡한 시스템의 제어기 설계에 효과적인 방법을 제시하나, 과도응답을 미리 결정할 수가 없다. 본 논문에서는 두 이론의 장점을 결합하여 새로운 제어 알고리듬을 제시한다. 최적의 퍼지변수 값을 결정하기 위하여 적응이론을 도입한다. 마지막으로 제안한 제어 알고리듬의 타당성을 살펴보기 위하여 수치적인 예를 가변길이진자시스템에 적용한다.

  • The theroy of variable structure control system (VSS) is applied to the position control for DC servo-motors. In order to use the microcomputer as a control device, the principles of VSS for the continuous-time system are extended to the discrete-time system. A new switching law is proposed to achieve the reduction of chattering. It adds a new switching structure to the conventional switching sturctures. This switching region is set near and including the conventional switching curve. The new algorithm is obtained for single-input second order system, and applied to the position control of a DC servo-motor. Experimental results show that the transient behavior is improved due to the reduction of chattering and good robustness properties are demonstrated.

Study on Continuously Variable System Using to Centrifugal Belt Pulley

  • In the case of a belt-pulley type CVT that transmits a driving force by using a variable pulley and a metal belt, slippage occurs due to transmission of power by using a belt, which results in a decrease in efficiency. Therefore, in this study, the rails were machined on the plate surface of the pulley to reduce the friction and slip between the belt and the pulley while applying the characteristics of the CVT. As the plate is rotated by the shape of the rail, a centrifugal belt pulley type continuously variable transmission system which shifts while varying the radius of rotation of the belt that transmits power is studied. Accordingly, the structure of the pulley was designed and the centrifugal belt pulley type continuously variable transmission was Manufactured. In addition, to verify the suitability of the manufactured transmission, the power transmission efficiency was monitored by establishing an interface with the controller. The structural analysis of the plate proved the suitability of the centrifugal belt pulley type continuously variable transmission.

  • 본 논문은 고정 슬라이딩면을 갖는 가변 구조 제어기의 단점인 도달영역에서의 파리미터의 불확실성과 외부 외란에 대한 민감성을 감소시키는 방안으로 고정 슬라이딩면 대신 비선형 슬라이딩면을 제시한다. 비선형 슬라이딩면을 통하여 시스템 상태 궤적이 초기 위치에서부터 평형점에 이르기까지 외란과 파라미터의 불확실성에 강인하게 되며 아울러 고정 슬라이딩면까지의 도달시간 뿐만 아니라 평형점까지의 도달시간도 감소하게 되는 특성을 보이고자한다. 제안된 제어 구조의 효과는 시뮬레이션을 통해 증명하였다.
