  • In recent years, the government has pushed ahead with the convergence and innovation of science technology and information technology in order to realize the creative economy. So, a creative economy ecosystem has been set up to realize the creative economy for small businesses growth and small business happiness. According to proliferation of mobile area taking the lead in the recent IT transition, development of various convergence technologies related to mobile such as mobile Apps, SNS, and big data have been promoted. For realizing government's creative economy, systematic raising plan to create newly value-added market and occupation being considered with developing technology for mobile convergence based on imagination and creativity of small businesses is proposed in this paper.

  • In this article, criteria and considerations for selecting a domestic Personal Communications Services (PCS) system in Korea are presented and upbanded IS-95 Common Air Interface (CAI) is asserted to be appropriate as a result of evaluation by the criteria. And Shinsegi Telecomm, Inc. (STI) is claimed to be a suitable operator to provide PCS by upbanded IS-95 considering the experiences as the cellular operator adopting IS-95 CDMA technology. The PCS R&D plan and strategies of STI are given and the joint R&D plan with domestic manufacturers to develop PCS systems are explained. The results from R&D so far are mentioned. The PCS network architecture and various services-basic voice service, value-added services and wireless data services-are discussed.

  • In this study we develop core technology of Multi-Charmel Voice Guidance System based on active 2.45GHz RFID that can be used in the field of advertising. Through this, we can service more familiar with voice information to foreigners by own language in large scale international event. As an alternative to the current high-expensive voice guidance system in exhibition hall and provide more value added services to user. As the result, we present the configuration of integrated software platform which include media server, media client and receiver. It can be as a basis infra equipment for a signtseeing in RFID/USN environment. Additionally through tag information analysis about exposure of advertisement that is collected late, supposed system may achieve role as a new marketing tool.

QoS-Based and Network-Aware Web Service Composition across Cloud Datacenters

  • With the development of cloud computing, more and more Web services are deployed on geo-distributed datacenters and are offered to cloud users all over the world. Through service composition technologies, these independent fine-grain services can be integrated to value-added coarse-grain services. During the composition, a number of Web services may provide the same function but differ in performance. In addition, the distribution of cloud datacenters presents a geographically dispersive manner, which elevates the impact of the network on the QoS of composite services. So it is important to select an optimal composition path in terms of QoS when many functionally equivalent services are available. To achieve this objective, we first present a graph model that takes both QoS of Web services and QoS of network into consideration. Then, a novel approach aiming at selecting the optimal composition path that fulfills the user's end-to-end QoS requirements is provided. We evaluate our approach through simulation and compare our method with existing solutions. Results show that our approach significantly outperforms existing solutions in terms of optimality and scalability.

  • Input impedance of the inverted L antenna which is modified from a monopole antenna varies to very high input impedance value when the ratio of vertical height to horizontal length is reduced. So its impedance matching becomes very difficult. In this paper, we analyzed the input impedance variation range depending on the ratio of vertical height to horizontal length in the normal and ferrite thin film added configuration for the input impedance control. For the exact analysis involving the permittivity, permeability and conductivity of ferrite material, FDTD numerical method is used.

A Study on the Forecast of Industrial Land Demand and the Location Decision of Industrial Complexes - In Case of Anseong City (산업용지 수요예측 및 산업단지 입지선정에 관한 연구 - 안성시를 사례로 -)

  • This study aims to build a model dealing with the location decision of new manufacturing firms and their land demand. The model is composed with 1) the binary logit model structure identifying a future probability of manufacturing firms to locate in a city and their land demand; and 2) the land use suitability of the land demand. The model was empirically tested in the case of Anseong City. We used establishment-level data for the manufacturing industry from the Report on Mining and Manufacturing Survey. 48 industry groups were scrutinized to find the location probability in the city and their land demand via logit model with the dependent variables: number of employment, land capital, building capital, total products, and value-added for a new industry since 2001. It is forecasted that the future land areas (to 2025) for the manufacturing industries in the city are $5.94km^2$ and additional land demand for clustering the existing industries scattered over the city is $2.lkm^2$. Five industrial complex locations were identified through the land use suitability analysis.

Linking Bibliographic Data and Public Library Service Data Using Bibliographic Framework (서지프레임워크를 활용한 공공도서관 서지데이터와 서비스 데이터의 연계)

  • This study aims to improve bibliographic data of public libraries by linking service data, which are produced out of library service programs. Service data collected from the seven award-winning public libraries were selected and analyzed. A Bibliographic Framework is used for linking bibliographic data and service data. Interfaces are also suggested for the two-way data linking. The results can be used to obtain 1) selective and value-added bibliographic data, 2) bibliographic data updated continuously throughout the lifecycle, 3) structured service data for preservation and sharing, and 4) bibliographic data linked to the additional external linked data.

  • 선진 전력시장에서는 오래전부터 전력부가서비스의 중요성을 깨닫고, 전력부가서비스와 전력부가서비스 지원을 위한 인프라에 관하여 다양한 연구와 시도가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 한편, 국내에서는 전력 부가서비스를 인식하고는 있지만 아직까지 이와 같은 연구와 개발이 활성화되지는 못하고 있다. 그러나 전력부가서비스는 전력시장의 변화가 만들어낸 결과물로써, 시간이 흐를수록 그 중요성은 더욱 증가할 것이다. 또한 전력부가서비스 시장은 아직까지 미개척 분야가 많은 블루오션이므로, 국내시장 및 아직까지 전력 부가서비스가 도입되지 못한 해외전력시장에도 진출할 수 있는 가능성을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 초기단계인 만큼 가능성과 위험이 공존하는 국내의 전력시장에서 성공적인 전력부가서비스를 개발하기 위해, 세계적인 전력시장의 변화와, 이 변화가 국내 전력시장에 미친 영향, 그리고 국내 시 장의 전력부가서비스 환경을 분석함으로써 국내 환경에 적합한 전력부가서비스 BM을 개발하고 이를 시스템으로 구축하는 방안에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • 전력부가서비스는 전력 서비스 본질의 가치를 높이기 위한 수단으로, 전력 서비스를 제공하는 과정 중에 취득된 정보를 가공 및 활용하여 제품이나 서비스의 형태로 제공하는 것을 의미하며, IT기술의 발전에 힘입어 전력산업내의 블루오션 시장으로 성장하고 있다. 국내에서는 원격검침시스템 구축 이후 원격검침데이터를 이용한 부가서비스 시스템이 개발되어 여러 형태로 수용가에게 제공되고 있으며, 요금관련 서비스는 비교적 다양하게 제공되고 있으나 그 외의 분야에서는 아직까지 깊이있는 서비스로 발전하지 못하였다. 이는 그동안의 환경적 요인이나 정책 등의 여러 가지 이유에서 기인한 것으로 보여진다. 그러나, 최근에는 시장이 변화하고 이에 따른 표준 인프라스트럭쳐 구축에 대한 논의가 이루어지면서 전력부가서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 이에 대한 연구도 더욱 활발해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 이와 같은 국내 시장의 환경 변화와 전력부가서비스의 발전 현황, 선진 시장의 부가서비스 현황을 분석하고, 실제적인 수용가의 수요 조사 결과를 바탕으로 하여, 국내의 환경 하에서 전력부가서비스 모델의 선정과 구축이 성공적으로 이루어질 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • RFID is issued as a core technology for Ubiquitous environment recently. Especially, Mobile RFID which is converged with RFID and wireless internet, provides new services to users, increased added-value to service providers. For commercial service of Mobile RFID, it needs an accounting service. The Diameter Base Protocol, mostly used for authentication, authorization, and accounting service, supports only deferred accounting service. For more variable accounting policy, Diameter Credit-Control Application which is capable of prepayment accounting, also should be considered. In this paper, a new accounting model with Diameter Credit-Control Application for Mobile RFID service is proposed.
