소비자의 쇼핑가치, 브랜드인지도 그리고 다발가격 화장품의 판촉유형이 화장품 구매에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Consumer's Shopping Value, Brand Awareness and Types of Promotion on Purchase of Bundled Cosmetics)

  • The purposes of this research were to investigate the influences of shopping value, brand awareness, and the types of sales promotion on the purchase of bundled cosmetics. In experiment, 1) shopping value 2) brand awareness 3) types of sales promotion were manipulated as independent variables, and consumer preference and purchasing intention of bundle of cosmetics were measured as dependent variables. This research was an experimental design which was $2{\times}2{\times}2$ mixed factorial design. For the data analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, three-way ANOVA were used by utilizing SAS program. The main results of the study were summarized as follows: First, the results indicated that the consumer of hedonic shopping value have a positive effect on preferring price-cut sales, especially if brand awareness is high. Second, the consumer of utilitarian shopping value preferred price-cut sales to special offer, irrespective of brand awareness. This result indicates that consumers who gets more involved in and enjoys shopping are likely to have more brand awareness than others. This. seems to be the important characteristics of shopping. Consumer who have utilitarian shopping value concerned in price. The result showed the 3-way interaction effects on the consumer preference of bundle of cosmetics.

대학생의 소비가치가 환경의식 소비자태도와 환경 의생활행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of College Students' Consumption Value on Consumer Attitudes Towards Environmental Awareness and Clothing Environmental Behavior)

  • The object of this study is to find out the influence of college students' consumption value on consumer attitudes towards environmental awareness and clothing environmental behavior. Questionnaires were administered to 236 college students living in DaeguCity and Kyoungbuk province. Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and t-test were used for data analysis. Our findings are as follows. Consumption value of college students had factors as differentiated, consumption needs, utility, economies ostentation, others awareness, and belonging. Consumer attitudes towards environmental awareness were found as environmental importance, environmental product purchase, environmental product interest, and environmental action. Clothing environmental behavior were found as up cycle, buying eco-friendly clothing, active participation, saver purchase, and eco-friendly clothing management. The result of this study showed differentiated, others awareness, and belonging had significant effect of environmental product purchase and consumption needs, utility, and belonging had significant effect of environmental action. Differentiated, and others awareness had significant effect of up cycle, buying eco-friendly clothing, active participation, and eco-friendly clothing management. Gender of college students showed significant differences consumption value, consumer attitudes towards environmental awareness, and clothing environmental behavior.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of selection attributes of restaurants specialized in Yaksun food on purchase intentions and satisfaction level of consumers as well as mediating effects of value awareness of Yaksun food on relationships among the variables. The subjects in this study were 200 female adults in Seoul and Busan. The findings of the study were as follows: First, purchase intentions for Yaksun food were positively influenced by food quality, human service, and health effect among selection attributes for restaurants specialized in Yaksun food. Second, customer satisfaction with Yaksun food was positively affected by food quality and human service among selection attributes. Third, purchase intention for Yaksun food and customer satisfaction were positively influenced awareness of functional value, emotional value and economic value of Yaksun food. Fourth, awareness of emotional and economic value of Yaksun food had mediating effects on relationships between selection attributes for restaurants specialized in Yaksun food and purchase intentions, and awareness of functional value of Yaksun food had mediating effects on relationships between the selection attributes of restaurants specialized in Yaksun food and customer satisfaction. The findings of the study illustrate that selection attributes for restaurants specialized in Yaksun food and value awareness have an impact on purchase intentions and customer satisfaction, and value awareness of Yaksun foods has mediating effects on the relationship of selection attributes with purchase intentions and customer satisfaction.

공공도서관의 사회적 가치에 대한 이용자와 비이용자의 인식 차이에 관한 연구 - 파주시를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Differences in Awareness of the Social Value of Public Libraries between Public library Users and Non-Users: Focused on Paju City)

  • 본 연구는 공공도서관의 사회적 가치에 대한 이용자/비이용자 집단의 인식비교를 통하여 사회적 가치라는 추상적인 개념을 보다 구체화하여 도서관 현장에 적용 가능한 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 파주 시민을 대상으로 2023년 5월 7일부터 15일간 대면 또는 온라인 방식으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 유효 응답지 206부를 SPSS 25.0를 활용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 독립표본t검정, 일원배치 분산분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과 첫째, 인구사회적 특성에 따른 공공도서관의 사회적 가치에 대한 인식에서는 연령에 따라 유의한 차이가 있으며, 10대와 40대의 인식이 다른 연령대보다 높았다. 지역사회 개발에 대한 인식에서는 여성이 남성보다 높았고, 직업에 따른 인식에서도 학생, 기타, 주부, 자영업, 직장인 순으로 높았다. 둘째, 공공도서관의 사회적 가치에 대한 인식은 전 영역에서 이용자 집단이 비이용자 집단보다 높았다. 셋째, 도서관 이용 정도에 따른 공공도서관의 사회적 가치에 대한 인식에서는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 향후 파주시 공공도서관의 사회적 가치에 대한 인식 제고를 위하여 비이용자의 이용자로의 유입과 남성과 60대, 20대를 대상으로 하는 신규 콘텐츠 및 서비스의 개발, 지역사회 활동 강화를 제안하였다.

수도권 초대형병원의 브랜드 가치와 시장점유율 분석 (The Analysis of Brand Value and Market Share at the Largest Hospitals the Metropolitan Area)

  • The purpose of this research is to evaluate Brand Value by using the K-BPI(Korea Brand Power Index) of Korea Management Association which is based on consumer awareness, as well as to identify how Brand Value which is composed of top of awareness, unaided awareness, aided awareness, image, possibility of purchasing, preference, affects on the Market Share perceived by consumers. This research subjects were 10 hospitals with more than 1,000 beds in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and survey subjects were 20 or older adults living in the metropolitan area of Korea. Using K-BPI for measuring Brand Value and used calculation of Market Share according to consumer preference model for measuring Market Share. The major results of this research are as follows: First, this research identified that the top 5 hospitals of largest hospitals in metropolitan area measured by using K-BPI and Market Share were same hospitals as Big 4 hospitals of previous research evaluating the comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals and also same as hospitals that appeared recently. Second, Big 5 hospitals ranked first to fifth in both Brand Value and Market Share. To identify the relationship between K-BPI items(top of awareness, unaided awareness, aided awareness, image, availability, preference) and Market Share, multiple linear regression was used by dividing 5 upper and 5 lower group of hospitals per each. The group of 5 upper hospitals had a significant effect on Market Share, with 'top of awareness', 'unaided awareness', 'aided awareness'. The group of 5 lower hospitals had a significant effect on Market Share with 'unaided awareness', 'aided awareness'. The results of this study and hospitals of the first to third hospitals published in the K-BPI press release reported by KMAC in 2017, and the previous studies evaluating the comprehensive competitiveness hospitals, all had one thing in common that Big 4 hospitals ranked high position. This suggests that evaluation of Brand Value also can be a evaluation measure of hospital. A new competitiveness of hospital is expected by managing brand awareness to have a brand competitiveness and by securing intrinsic Market Share of consumer to reach hospital use ultimately.

스마트폰광고 이용자의 광고태도에 영향을 미치는 상황인지가치에 관한 연구 (The Effect of the Context Awareness Value on the Smartphone Adopter' Advertising Attitude)

  • 스마트폰 광고시장의 급격한 성장으로 그간 광고태도연구에서 주요한 요인으로 고려되었던, 재미(Entertainment), 정보(Information), 짜증(Irritation)과 같은 일반적으로 광고가치에 영향을 주는 요인 외에 스마트폰의 특성에 의해 발생하는 상황인지가치(Context Awareness Value)에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그간 상황인지가치에 영향을 주는 요인을 찾기 위해 주로 위치(Location)를 중심으로 연구되어 왔는데, 스마트폰을 통해 발생하는 상황인지가치는 위치 이외에도 다양하다고 할 수 있다. 즉, 무선인터넷기술의 활용을 통한 SNS 활용, 유심카드를 이용한 개인 확인, 다양한 앱의 활용 등의 변화는 기존의 모바일기기에서 제공하는 기능들의 활용이 더욱 중요해지고 있고, 이로 인해 발생하는 다양한 상황인지가치의 요인이 존재한다고 할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 이동통신시장의 광고채널이 스마트폰으로 전환되면서 발생하는 상황인지가치의 영향을 고려한 분석을 실시하여, 이전 연구에서 고려되지 못했던 최근 광고시장 상황이 반영된 연구결과가 도출되었다고 할 수 있다. 분석결과에 따르면, 이전의 광고태도 연구에서 주요한 요인이라고 여겨졌던 재미와 짜증은 영향은 적어지고, 여전히 정보가 미치는 영향은 크게 작용되고 있어 이는 현재의 정보화시대에서 정보의 중요성 및 영향력에 대한 이해와 분석도 여전히 필요하다고 할 수 있다 스마트폰으로 인한 광고시장변화에 따라 활동(Activity), 시기(Timing), 위치(Location) 등과 같은 상황인지가치가 광고태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 점을 확인하였으며, 신원은 영향이 없음으로 나타났다. 또한 광고가치와 상황인지가치는 스마트폰 광고태도에 유의한 영향이 있음으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 스마트폰광고 시 이용자가 원하는 정보를 이용자의 상황에 최적화시켜 스마트폰 광고를 실시하여야만, 광고효과를 극대화 할 수 있다는 점을 시사한다.

The effect of brand equity of CVS PB Products on Repurchase Intention

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to set brand awareness and brand image as independent variables from Keller's (1993) definition of brand equity and to analyze whether those variables have an influence on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty with perceived quality and value as mediator variables. Research design, data, and methodology - Data is collected through questionnaires from 200 of responders. Survey respondents were young people who use convenience stores. Questionnaires were tested in October 2017. SPSS and AMOS were used for structural equation as an analysis method. Results - The analysis results specified above can be summarized as follows: 1) Brand awareness had statistically significant influence on perceived quality and perceived value; 2) Brand image had a positive (+) influence on perceived quality and had no significant influence on perceived value; 3) Perceived quality and perceived value had a significant influence on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction had a statistically significant influence on customers' repurchase intention. Conclusions - Brand awareness and brand image had an influence on young consumers' decision-making process for purchasing PB food products. Convenience stores have to focus on developing food products with brand awareness and brand image more suitable for satisfying consumer preferences.

서울 지역 초.중.고등학생들의 우유 가치구조 인식 및 섭취 행태 분석 (Analysis of the Awareness of the Value and the Consumption Pattern on Milk of Elementary Middle and High School Students)

  • This study was performed to investigate the awareness of the value on milk and the consumption pattern on milk of elementary, middle and high school students. The subjects were 453 students(129 elementary, 129 middle, and 195 high school students) living in the Seoul area. The results were as follows. The students of this study demonstrated low levels of awareness of the value of milk. They had an awareness of the value of milk about 'convenience', 'healthful', 'safety', 'diversity', and 'useful for snack'. Most students reported drinking milk two to three times a week and 13.2% of students preferred flavored milk rather than plain milk. General preference for milk was significantly higher in elementary school students than in high school students(p<0.001). The degree of satisfaction on milk was significantly higher in elementary school students than in middle and high school students(p<0.001). The respondents answered that their source of information about milk was the mass media. Their source of information from school was very low. In order to increase the consumption of plain milk, milk nutritional education is necessary in schools.

Crisis to Opportunity: The Role of Consumer Awareness in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As) during the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • In the uncertainty fueled by the COVID-19 pandemic, mergers and acquisitions (M&As) have emerged as key strategic responses by firms. This study explores the impact of M&As on acquirers' firm value, utilizing a firm-level panel dataset from SDC Platinum. Empirical evidence recognizes the potential negative impact of transaction value in M&As and the pandemic's effect on market uncertainty that may occasionally exacerbate the adverse influence on acquirers' firm value. The findings indicate that effective marketing strategies, such as enhancing consumer awareness through increasing advertising expenditures, can counterbalance these influences, particularly during uncertain times. This study accentuates the importance of adaptability and a responsive marketing approach in managing M&As during a global crisis. It provides valuable perspectives on consumer awareness in strategic decision-making, offering insights for both academic and business communities and focusing on actionable strategies for navigating the global market turmoil transformed by COVID-19.

내시경검사 대상자의 정보인지, 불안, 불편 및 정보의 가치 (Awareness of Information, Anxiety, Distress, and Perceived Value of Information in Patients undergoing Endoscopic Examination)

  • Purpose: A descriptive study was conducted to identify awareness of information, emotional distress, behavioral distress, and perceived value of information in clients who were scheduled for endoscopic examinations, and to determine correlations between the variables. Method: Participants were 87 clients who were scheduled for endoscopic examinations; gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, and colonoscopy. The questionnaires were collected from September to December, 2002 by a trained nurse. Self reports, interviews, and observations were used. Data were analyzed with frequencies, percentages, means, Pearson correlation coefficients, ANOVA, and Scheffe post test using the SPSS/PC 9.0. Result: The score for awareness of information was 17.46, state anxiety was 47.26, emotional distress during exam was 2.90, behavioral distress was 11.18, and perceived value of information was 4.21, Clients aged above 60 showed significantly lower awareness of information than other groups. Clients undergoing broncoscopy reported significantly higher emotional distress during the ekam than subjects for colonoscopy. Clients undergoing gastroscopy showed significantly higher behavioral distress than any of the others. There were no relationships between awareness of information and anxiety, but, a significant positive relationship was found between anxiety and emotional distress during exam, between emotional distress and behavioral distress, and between awareness of information and perceived value of information. Conclusion: Awareness of information by the clients through provision of an educational booklet was low, and clients showed moderate level of state anxiety. Research studies are needed to compare providing information with other interventions for comfortable progress of endoscopic examinations. Especially specific strategies should be established for elderly clients to facilitate awareness of information.
