Study on Development of Educational Program Contents in the National and Public Art Museums in South Korea since the COVID-19 (코로나-19 이후 국내 국공립미술관 교육프로그램 콘텐츠 변화 연구)

  • This paper studies how the nature of educational programs run by public art museums in South Korea have been influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to what extent the pandemic has caused operational problems for these museums. It, in effect, unveils the new museum culture of the COVID-19 era. It finds that the number of educational programs at the eight museums in Korea selected for this study has decreased 34% since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of online educational programs, educational brochures and art kits at six of the museums has also increased by 70% compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, 'untact' programs thought up and created by artists have been gradually developing at certain art museums in South Korea, while VR/AR educational programs have been developing at museums in the Seoul Metropolitan Area. As such, this study reveals the changing characteristics of museum educational programs and the new museum educational culture in the COVID-19 era with the hope of opening up discussion about the future direction these programs will take.

  • As COVID-19 made it difficult to travel abroad and attract domestic tourists to foreigners, the phenomenon of MZ generations flocking to Jeju through consumption patterns occurred. In this study, if Jeju Island uses Jeju's rural tourism and smart glasses to study how to attract and cope with domestic tourists after the pandemic and build a mobile application or smart glass to tour based on village maps, the docent guide service through smart glasses will help tourists. Furthermore, it would be very beneficial to introduce a location-based service to provide the necessary information at the location according to the movement path of tourists. In fact, we conclude that it can be implemented through the development of the Hansung Baekje Museum, and hope that the actual media can be applied to free tourist courses such as Jeju Olle Trail, as it provides various contents in selective development such as AR and VR.

Real-time Markerless Facial Motion Capture of Personalized 3D Real Human Research

  • Real human digital models appear more and more frequently in VR/AR application scenarios, in which real-time markerless face capture animation of personalized virtual human faces is an important research topic. The traditional way to achieve personalized real human facial animation requires multiple mature animation staff, and in practice, the complex process and difficult technology may bring obstacles to inexperienced users. This paper proposes a new process to solve this kind of work, which has the advantages of low cost and less time than the traditional production method. For the personalized real human face model obtained by 3D reconstruction technology, first, use R3ds Wrap to topology the model, then use Avatary to make 52 Blend-Shape model files suitable for AR-Kit, and finally realize real-time markerless face capture 3D real human on the UE4 platform facial motion capture, this study makes rational use of the advantages of software and proposes a more efficient workflow for real-time markerless facial motion capture of personalized 3D real human models, The process ideas proposed in this paper can be helpful for other scholars who study this kind of work.

  • 본 논문에서는 제한된 공간에서 효과적인 기초연습이 필요한 장애인 핸드볼 선수들을 대상으로, XR(Extended Reality) 기술을 활용한 특화된 훈련 서비스를 개발하고자 한다. 경기장에 물리적으로 참석할 필요 없이 집이나 사무실에서 편안하게 핸드볼 게임을 경험하고 연습할 기회가 현재 제한되어 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 장애인이 멀티플레이어 환경에서 기초 연습하는 방법 개발에 중점을 두어 이러한 한계를 해결하는 것이다. 이를 통해 선수들은 제한된 실내 환경에서도 가상 현실(VR) 및 증강 현실(AR)을 활용하여 핸드볼 게임을 쉽게 경험하고 연습할 수 있는 가능성을 제공한다.

  • In this paper, the write analysis the application of basic video content of Mobil Device Platform in China and studies the future development scheme. According to the survey, as of 2019, 78% of Chinese total population is the Internet service users and application software users. Mobile Device Platform is independently developed to provide video content application services, which already have 640 million video application users from 2013 to the present. 65% of users install and use more than two video content applications. In China TikTok, Kuai Shou, MeiPai and other video content applications, not only can easily achieve simple user interface and users can directly shoot video content. These production functions is different from YouTube, a famous video platform in the United States. In the video platform market, the core competitiveness is content creation. In the future, the integration of video content of VR, AR and other video projects will expecte to further activate the video platform market.

  • The web is one of the most intimate technologies in people's daily lives, and most of the time, people are sharing data on the web. Simple messenger, news, video, as well as various data are now spreading through the web. In addition, with the emergence of Web assembly technology, the programs that run in the existing native environment start to enter the domain of the Web, and the data shared by the Web is now getting wider and larger in terms of VR / AR contents and big data. Therefore, in this paper, we have studied how to effectively deliver web contentsto users who use Web service by using service worker that can operate independently without being dependent on browser and cache API that can effectively store data in web browser.

  • Purpose : According to the Korean Diabetes Association, the number of metabolic disease patients in Korea is approximately 14.97 million as of 2020;, the prevalence of diabetes among adults over 30 years old is 44.3 %, and the prevalence of diabetes in the elderly over 65 years old is 50.4%. These individuals exposed to the risk of complications. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine a distribution method for a customized fusion exercise marine healing program for metabolic disease patients. Methods : We have searched numerous papers concerning artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and marine resources related to marine healing programs that can be introduced in marine healing centers for people with metabolic diseases Results : Through the production of various marine resources and evidence-based exercise programs, the provision of exercise programs using AI, and the development of exercise platforms using AR and VR, we were able to establish guidelines for how to operate marine healing programs at marine healing centers. Conclusion : Korea has much more diverse marine healing resources than other advanced countries in the marine healing industry. However, the development of these resources has only just begun. It is hoped that the studied marine healing program will be of great help to metabolic patients by creating contents that will be implemented in marine healing centers by using the cutting-edge technologies and various marine resources that Korea possesses.

Development of Character Goods Content Utilizing Marker-based Augmented Reality (마커기반 증강현실을 활용한 캐릭터 굿즈 콘텐츠 개발)

  • Recently, there has been growing interest in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with a particular focus on the advancement of augmented reality (AR) devices. However, there is a shortage of AR content. Augmented reality operates through marker-based and markerless methods. The marker-based approach involves using a camera to capture images that serve as markers, enhancing them through AR principles. To address the scarcity of AR content and improve the quality of character goods, this study proposes integrating AR technology into character goods. The character industry is expanding each year, leading to a diverse range of character goods. Character acrylic stands, among these goods, leverage game, webtoon, and animation character IPs for sales. To enhance the design process, we utilized the character image as a marker, allowing for the creation of content that aligns with the characteristics of the character IP. We selected a webtoon character and developed AR content, incorporating features such as voice, speech bubbles, and an introduction to the webtoon, tailored to the webtoon's characteristics. This study demonstrates the potential of AR to present visual and auditory information, paving the way for a variety of products, including diverse content. We anticipate that utilizing this research will lead to the emergence of products encompassing various contents.

  • In this thesis, the objective is to identify and analyze trends in the evolution of virtual reality in the midst of the trend of digital content and the trend of the 4th industrial revolution. The analysis is divided into devices, development, distribution platforms and content fields, which are divided into active, static, and classical content and trend. This thesis is meaningful as a basic material in the planning stage of virtual augmented reality contents.

  • 최근에 들어서 VR, AR 등 '현실'을 기반으로 하는 장르가 주목을 받고 있다. 그 중에서도 ARG 장르가 존재하는데, 우리가 살고 있는 현실 세계에서 가상의 이야기들을 마치 실존하는 것처럼 꾸며 놓고 관객 혹은 플레이어들이 스스로 단서를 찾아 스토리의 끝을 매듭짓는 것이 목표인 장르이다. ARG 장르는 그 자체가 게임이 될 수 있고, 메인 게임 장르의 세부적인 요인으로 작용할 수도 있는 매력적인 장르이다. 본 논문에서는 ARG 게임에 대한 세부적인 분석과 인식 조사를 진행하여, 그 결과를 바탕으로 해당 장르를 보편화 시킬 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.
