  • Recently, in the elevator of the buildings, such as apartment and office building, the visitor monitoring cameras for surveillance, advertising LCD to provide a variety of information, emergency call devices, and safe driving information sensors are installed. A variety of multimedia data from these devices to the central control office, management office, or to guard room are transmitted in real-time. Each sub-systems in the elevator are installed with a separate lines and operated independently and use different management principals, so integrated management for each sub-systems are very difficult. In this study, we develop a new IP-based multi-channel video surveillance system which is integrated surveillance camera, emergency call devices, communications devices, various sensors in the elevator, DVR, ODM, and can manage all devices by two-way communication and integrated interface. And we evaluated the performance of the developed system.

  • This paper analyzes the impact of Call Setup Time on UPT performance based on the AIN platform. Call Setup Time is used as the performance parameter. In implementing UPT based on the AIN platform, the geographical location of VLR affects network performance. In order to find an optimum location of VLR among three different types of structures, i.e. VLR is located close to Service Switching Point and Cell Site Controller and located at Service Control Point, each Call Setup Time on proposed time delay model is calculated and compared. Network performance is analyzed by changing the number of STP in No.7 signaling network in UPT and the utilization ratio, $\rho$, for SSP, STP and SCP.

An Empirical Study on the Quality Attributes of Museum Service by ICT: Comparisons of South Korea and Austria (KANO모델을 활용한 박물관 ICT 서비스 품질 속성에 관한 실증연구: 한국-오스트리아 비교)

  • Museum management has been centered on curated exhibitions. Today, however, visitor-tailored exhibitions are all the rage, and various ICT-based services such as museum app's and exhibition explanation through QR code are being provided. To this trend, research on museum services using smartphones and SNS has been conducted. But there have been few studies of technical influence on the museum service satisfaction factors. This study, therefore, attempted to identify and classify the satisfaction factors of museum services with Kano model which explains service quality attributes. Samples from South Korea and Austria were analyzed There was a significant gap in quality factors according to cultural differences and a notable difference in perceived quality even for the factors in the same dimension. It implies that cultural differences need to be taken into account for the priority of museum services.

A Study on Management Strategies of Time Based on Visitor's Moving Pattern in Mudeungsan Provincial Park (무등산도립공원 시간대별 탐방객 이동패턴에 따른 관리방안 연구)

  • This study aims to understand the time-based moving pattern and suggest management strategies through surveying the number of visitors from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for 3 days of each season in 3 key sites (Jeungsimsa district, Wonhyosa district and Jungmeorijae) of Mudeungsan Provincial Park. Majority of visitors who entered through Jeungsimsa district and Wonhyosa district visited the Mudeungsan provincial park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the number of enterers reached the peak from 10 to 11 in the morning. Majority of the visitors left the Mudeungsan provincial park from noon to 5 p.m.. The number of leavers showed the peak between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. Most of visitors who moved via Jungmeorijae from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. climbed toward Jangbuljae or Jungbong or came down to Jeungsimsa district or Wonhyosa district. The number of enterers hit the highest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. However, there was no stark difference in the time-based moving pattern of each season and days of week. The special intensive management such as providing visitor service, conducting a campaign and restoring the damaged land in concentrated site and time is needed for conserving natural resources and improving visitors satisfaction.

Preference and Service Satisfaction of Campsite Visitors - Focus on Wolaksan.Sokrisan National Park - (야영장 이용객의 선호요인과 이용 만족도 - 월악산.속리산국립공원을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze visitor preferences and the degree of service satisfaction for campsites and investigate factors that influence visitor satisfaction so that the study may provide proper data needed to build and operate campsites. The results are as follows. 1. It was found that men use campsites more frequently than women. Campsites are most often used by those in their thirties, the highest percentage out of all the age groups. Relaxation proved to be the main purpose for using campsites. It was also found that usually 2 to 4 people use a campsite at a time, the highest percentage as well. 2. The factor-analysis of 13 items related to campsite satisfaction can be divided into facilities, psychological factors, the surrounding-environment and access. 3. It was found that the satisfaction of lavatories has the most influence in the facilities factor. The satisfaction on the intention to revisit has the most influence in the psychological factor. The landscape element has the most influence in regards to the surrounding-environment and the guidance and sign system has the most influence in the access factor. 4. It was found that the factors that most influence overall satisfaction are facilities factor, psychological factors and the surrounding environment, in that order.

Analysis on Visiting Characteristics and Satisfaction according to Travel Routes of the Hallyeohaesang National Park's Visitors (한려해상국립공원 탐방객의 여행경로에 따른 탐방특성 및 만족도 분석)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop basic materials useful for the visiting management policies' establishment of national parks by analyzing the characteristics of and satisfaction with the visit to Hallyeohaesang National Park according to travel routes. For this, a total of 671 visitors to Hallyeohaesang National Park were recruited and field surveys were conducted three times in spring, summer, and fall from March to November 2017. The Hallyeohaesang national park's visitors were surveyed using a self-administered questionnaire about visitor characteristics (ex: motivation of visiting, travel routes, travel time, and participating activities, etc.) and satisfaction (ex: satisfaction with the visit, intention to revisit, and intention to recommend). SPSS 21.0 program was used for the statistical analysis: frequency analysis and independent-samples t-test analysis. As a result of analysis the motivation of visiting, those who visited only Hallyeohaesang National Park (a single destination) showed a mean value statistically significantly higher level in health improvement and vacation, relaxation, and healing compared to those who had visited or would visit other places along with Hallyeohaesang National Park (multi-destinations). Single destination visitors spent less time traveling from home to national park than multi-destinations visitors. Those who visited only Hallyeohaesang National Park (as a single destination) showed a mean value statistically higher satisfaction and intention to revisit and recommend. The results of this research have significance in providing basic materials to develop efficient park management policies by studying the characteristics of Hallyeohaesang National Park visitors.

  • Although the medicine is developed to support the quality of treatment, if we do not increase the quality of health care for customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction does not rise any more. The competitiveness of the hospital slows down since the visitor to the hospital is reduced. It is medical reason that the focus of the medical information moves from doctors to customers. This study analyzed websites, the private hospital located in Busan. The websites provide contact information; web-based information from health services is increasing. Statistical analysis was carried out cross analysis using available variables on websites by using the SPSS 21.0 for Version. Departments were also significant, depending on the health services by the external contact elements and contact elements designed to study the problem in analyzing the results presented in this study. This means the contact is different by departments. The results of this study is to better consider the Departments website when making specific characteristics we expect the increase of health care quality and patient satisfaction.

An Evaluation Model on Supply Factors of Urban Park (도시공원의 공급인자 평가모형)

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate supply factors of urban parks to answer the research question: What are the causal effects of supply factors of urban parks on visitor satisfaction? After reviewing the literature and the Korean park planning process, we constructed a conceptual framework and have formulated the hypothesis of this research. We had obtained data through a questionnaire, which surveyed 452 visitors at 8 urban parks in Daegu Metropolitan City in 2008, based on a stratified sampling method. After the elimination of 96 unsuitable samples, we have analyzed the data using descriptive statistical methods, Pearson's correlation analysis and a path analysis method. We have found that: 1) While the direct and indirect effect of accessibility(ACC) on visitor satisfaction(VS) turned out to be 0.184 and 0.220, respectively, the indirect effect of information(IFM) and promotion(PRM) on VS turned out to be 0.101 and 0.177, respectively. 2) While the direct and indirect effect of service(SVR) on VS turned out to be 0.130 and 0.236, respectively, the direct effect of ACC turned out to be 0.698. 3) While the direct effect of ACC, SVR and attraction(ATT) on VS turned out to be 0.184, 0.130 and 0.698, respectively, composing 67.96% of causal effect, the indirect effect of ACC, IFM, PRM and SVR on VS turned out to be 0.220, 0.101, 0.177 and 0.236, respectively, composing 42.04% of causal effect. 4) The magnitude of causal effect of supply factors on VS turned out to be ATT(39.98%), ACC(23.14%), SVR(20.96%), PRM(10.14%) and IFM(5.78%) in order, and 5) the causal effect of external supply factors of ACC, IFM and PRM compose 39.06% of the causal effect while that of the internal supply factors of SVR and ATT is 69.94%. The research results suggest that: 1) Planning for park marketing strategy and remedial directions for existing urban parks, in order to increase visitor satisfaction, be focused on IFM and PRM, especially. 2) The research approach and path analysis method adopted by this research be valid and highly useful for planning and evaluation of other recreation areas. It is recommended that: 1) Structural Equation Model on supply factors of urban parks be established in the future. 2) Evaluation of supply factors by type of urban park be performed.

Effects of Service Quality of Culture and Tourism Festivals in Relation to Satisfaction and Re-visit of Visitors(Focusing on Cheonan World Dance Festival) (문화관광축제의 서비스품질이 이용객의 만족과 재방문에 미치는 영향(2013 천안흥타령 춤 축제를 대상으로))

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate a total of 800 visitors of those who had enjoyed "2013 Cheonan Heung-taryeong dance Festival". In order to achieve the research goal, the study conducted the questionnaire in the venue of the festival and selected the research subjects at random. With certain standards to measure the social quality, the process quality and the physical quality as in the service quality determined, the study looked into how each of the extracted factors would influence the service quality in general. The study also discussed effects of the general service quality both on the satisfaction and the re-visit intention of the festival visitors. According to the results from the analysis, 1) the social quality factors (the cultural effect and the image effect), 2) the process quality factors (the visitor-focused service and the food and souvenir), 3) the physical quality factors (the convenience in connection with the visitors' enjoying the festival and the facility arrangement) and 4) the general service quality of the festival were confirmed to affect the visitors' satisfaction. 5) The study also learned that how much the visitors of the festival have been satisfied with the event would have an effect on the visitors' intention to re-visit. After all, the study came up with every statistically significant difference in relation to the effects of the service quality on the satisfaction and the re-visit intention of the visitors in the festival.

A Study on customer experience centered innovation model for Funeral Mutual Enterprise - Centered on Funeral service - (상조기업의 고객경험 기반 혁신모델 연구 - 장례서비스 산업을 중심으로 -)

  • This study is a study on the methodology of establishing an innovation strategy centering on the customer experience, which is essential in order to transform the existing collection and preservation-centered mutual aid company service into a visitor-centered service. To this end, we conducted literature research on environmental changes in the funeral industry from the perspective of service science and the significance and value of customer experiences within them, good customer experiences and bad customer experiences from the perspective of customer experience management. A study was conducted to present and prove a specific model. The customer experience-oriented innovation strategy of the funeral industry means to search for various alternatives that can reach the target state from the present state, focusing on the customer, and select the most appropriate transformation plan among them. As an effect of application, it was found that it is a source of differentiation by generating positive emotions to customers, and that customer experience data is highly helpful in making important decisions for the actual resource input of the parent company. This innovation model was presented, and its value was firstly proved by analyzing the difference from the existing evaluation method. Finally, as a result of analyzing the causal relationship through regression analysis using the customer experience measurement procedure, customer experience diagnosis/evaluation, customer experience innovation strategy, and cooperative company's performance as variables, the relationship proved to be significant.
