시소러스 도구를 이용한 실시간 개념 기반 문서 분류 시스템 (A Real-Time Concept-Based Text Categorization System using the Thesauraus Tool)

  • The majority of text categorization systems use the term-based classification method. However, because of too many terms, this method is not effective to classify the documents in areal-time environment. This paper presents a real-time concept-based text categorization system,which classifies texts using thesaurus. The system consists of a Korean morphological analyzer, athesaurus tool, and a probability-vector similarity measurer. The thesaurus tool acquires the meaningsof input terms and represents the text with not the term-vector but the concept-vector. Because theconcept-vector consists of semantic units with the small size, it makes the system enable to analyzethe text with real-time. As representing the meanings of the text, the vector supports theconcept-based classification. The probability-vector similarity measurer decides the subject of the textby calculating the vector similarity between the input text and each subject. In the experimentalresults, we show that the proposed system can effectively analyze texts with real-time and do aconcept-based classification. Moreover, the experiment informs that we must expand the thesaurustool for the better system.

  • The equivalent transformation of a brushless DC motor into an separately exited DC motor has been possible with the vector control technique. Vector control is an effective technique for controlling variable speed drives of brushless DC motors. Conventional vector controllers, however, suffer from electrical machine parameter variations because these controllers depend on the parameters. This paper presents the vector control of brushless DC motor using a neural network. In the proposed method, a neural network is employed as on-line estimator of the nonlinear dynamic equations of brushless DC motor. The neural network based vector controller has the advantage of robustness against machine parameter variations as compared with conventional vector controller The simulation results using Matlab/Simulink verify the useful of the proposed method.

  • A vector-photo is a photography which contain image and 5W1H information. Objects pictured and an image in a vector-photo can be linked by 5W1H information in the vector-photo. This study discuss a positioning module to link between vector-photos and 3D BIM model. The module developed in this study can be utilized in a system that can link the vector-photos with objects in BIM model.

Fuzzy ARTMAP 신경회로망의 패턴 인식율 개선에 관한 연구 (A study on the improvement of fuzzy ARTMAP for pattern recognition problems)

  • In this paper, we present a new learning method for the fuzzy ARTMAP which is effective for the noisy input patterns. Conventional fuzzy ARTMAP employs only fuzzy AND operation between input vector and weight vector in learning both top-down and bottom-up weight vectors. This fuzzy AND operation causes excessive update of the weight vector in the noisy input environment. As a result, the number of spurious categories are increased and the recognition ratio is reduced. To solve these problems, we propose a new method in updating the weight vectors: the top-down weight vectors of the fuzzy ART system are updated using weighted average of the input vector and the weight vector itself, and the bottom-up weight vectors are updated using fuzzy AND operation between the updated top-down weitht vector and bottom-up weight vector itself. The weighted average prevents the excessive update of the weight vectors and the fuzzy AND operation renders the learning fast and stble. Simulation results show that the proposed method reduces the generation of spurious categories and increases the recognition ratio in the noisy input environment.

효율적 구조최적화를 위한 유전자 알고리즘의 방향벡터 (Direction Vector for Efficient Structural Optimization with Genetic Algorithm)

  • 본 연구에서는 방향벡터(direction vector)를 이용한 지역 탐색법과 유전자 알고리즘을 결합한 새로운 알고리즘인 D-GA를 제안한다. 새로운 개체(individual)를 찾기 위한 방향벡터로는 진화과정 중에 습득되는 정보를 활용하기 위한 학습방향벡터(Loaming direction vector)와 진화와는 무관하게 한 개체의 주변을 탐색하는 랜덤방향벡터(random direction vector) 등 두 가지를 구성하였다. 그리고, 10 부재 트러스 설계 문제에 단순 유전자 알고리즘과 D-GA를 적용하여 최적화를 수행하였고, 그 결과를 비교 검토함으로써 단순 GA에 비하여 D-GA의 정확성 및 효율성이 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

Encryption Algorithm using Polyline Simplification for GIS Vector Map

  • Recently, vector map has developed, used in many domains, and in most cases vector map data contains confidential information which must be kept away from unauthorized users. Moreover, the manufacturing process of a vector map is complex and the maintenance of a digital map requires substantial monetary and human resources. This paper presents the selective encryption scheme based on polyline simplification methods for GIS vector map data protection to store, transmit or distribute to authorized users. Main advantages of our algorithm are random vertices and transformation processes but it still meets requirements of security by random processes, and this algorithm can be implement to many types of vector map formats.

EQUIVARIANT VECTOR BUNDLES AND CLASSIFICATION OF NONEQUIVARIANT VECTOR ORBIBUNDLES

  • Let a finite group R act smoothly on a closed manifold M. We assume that R acts freely on M except a union of closed submanifolds with codimension at least two. Then, we show that there exists an isomorphism between equivariant topological complex vector bundles over M and nonequivariant topological complex vector orbibundles over the orbifold M/R. By using this, we can classify nonequivariant vector orbibundles over the orbifold especially when the manifold is two-sphere because we have classified equivariant topological complex vector bundles over two sphere under a compact Lie group (not necessarily effective) action in [6]. This classification of orbibundles conversely explains for one of two exceptional cases of [6].

음양오행설 상생상극론(相生相剋論)의 벡터 해석(解析) (Vector Analysis of the Xiangsheng Xiangke(相生相剋) of the Yinyang Wuxing(陰陽五行) Theory)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this paper is to model each Xíng(行) of the Yīnyáng Wǔxíng(陰陽五行) theory as a vector, to interpret the Xiāngshēng Xiāngkè(相生相剋) theory as a vector sum, and argue the objectivity and universal applicability of the Xiāngshēng Xiāngkè(相生相剋) theory. Methods : The five xíngs of the Wǔxíng were modeled and expressed as vectors, and the Xiāngshēng Xiāngkè theories were quantitatively explained by vector summation. Results : We calculated the Wǔxíng vectors using the vector sum formula, and found that the Xíng vectors that received mutual support increased in size by about 62%, and the Xíng vectors that received opposition decreased in size by about 38%. Conclusions : This result could be considered as quantitative interpretation of the contents of the Xiāngshēng Xiāngkè(相生相剋) theory which has mostly been explained qualitatively. The results of this study could hopefully provide ideas to quantify various theories based on the Yinyangwuxing theory such as Korean Medicine and other traditional fields in East Asian culture.

  • A class of topological algebras, which we call it a fundamental one, has already been introduced generalizing the famous Cohen factorization theorem to more general topological algebras. To prove the generalized versions of Cohen's theorem to locally multilplicatively convex algebras, and finally to fundamental topological algebras, the completness of the background spaces is one of the main conditions. The local convexity of the completion of a locally convex space is a well known fact and here we have a discussion on the completness of fundamental metrizable topological vector spaces.

  • This paper introduces a local non-positivity of two set-valued mappings (F,Q) and considers the existences and properties of solutions for set-valued mixed vector FQ-implicit variational inequality problems and set-valued mixed vector FQ-complementarity problems in the neighborhood of a point belonging to an underlined domain K of the set-valued mappings, where the neighborhood is contained in K. This paper generalizes and extends many results in [1, 3-7].
