STRONG MORI MODULES OVER AN INTEGRAL DOMAIN

  • Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K, M a torsion-free D-module, X an indeterminate, and $N_v=\{f{\in}D[X]|c(f)_v=D\}$. Let $q(M)=M{\otimes}_D\;K$ and $M_{w_D}$={$x{\in}q(M)|xJ{\subseteq}M$ for a nonzero finitely generated ideal J of D with $J_v$ = D}. In this paper, we show that $M_{w_D}=M[X]_{N_v}{\cap}q(M)$ and $(M[X])_{w_{D[X]}}{\cap}q(M)[X]=M_{w_D}[X]=M[X]_{N_v}{\cap}q(M)[X]$. Using these results, we prove that M is a strong Mori D-module if and only if M[X] is a strong Mori D[X]-module if and only if $M[X]_{N_v}$ is a Noetherian $D[X]_{N_v}$-module. This is a generalization of the fact that D is a strong Mori domain if and only if D[X] is a strong Mori domain if and only if $D[X]_{N_v}$ is a Noetherian domain.

  • It is shown, that both cosmic radiation (external source) and natural radioactive gases (inner source) are sources of neutrons near the Earth crust. Correlation between the Earth crust dynamics and variations of thermal and slow neutron flux near the Earth surface is studied. It is shown, that variations of neutron flux near the Earth crust can be used for short-term predicting of natural hazards.

  • V.M.D(Visual Merchandising Design) covers every space, environment, and visually stimulating factor. This includes not only the architectural appearance but interior, graphic sign boards, window display, layout, store appliances, lighting, and even the looks and service attitude that sales employees have and show to customers. V.M.D aims to display merchandise in multiple ways; to heighten brand images; to steadily lure many customers to the store. One of the characteristics that V.M.D has is, that this abandons the previous design concept which solely puts stress on luxurious interior-focused display; that this displays merchandise in a rational and systemic way and induces customers to buy products. In this regard, the objective of this study is to study brand perception and effect of V.M.D displayed in the stores, on customers, and thereby to present the concepts of V.M.D, suitable for display in the stores, which can be used continuously in the future.

Clinical Analysis of 102 Cases of Open Heart Surgery (개심수술 102례 의 임상적 고찰)

  • A total of 102 patients who had an Open Heart Surgery from April 1976 to July 1981 were reviewed. 55 paeitnts were congenital heart disease and 47 patients were acquired heart disease. Among SS patients of congenital heart disease, 18 T 0 F, 18 V S D, 8 A S D, and each one case of l\ulcorner 0 R V, Truncus arteriosus, Ebstein anomaly, Single ventricle, P D A, P 5, A S D + P 5, E C D, V 5 D + P D A, A - P window, D C R V were noted respectively. In 47 patients of acquired heart disease and one Ebstein patient, 46 prosthetic values were implanted: 17 had M V R, 4 had A V R, 2 had M V R + A V R, and 4 had M V R + T V R and one T V R. The operative mortality was 8.S% in acquired heart disease and 17% in congenital heart disease. The follow up period was between 6 months and 6 years. There were 3 cases of late mortality in acquired heart disease and one case in congenital heart disease.

A Study on Fabrication and Characteristics of Nonvolatile SNOSFET EEPROM with Channel Sizes (채널크기에 따른 비휘방성 SNOSFET EEPROM의 제작과 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The nonvolatile SNOSFET EEPROM memory devices with the channel width and iength of 15[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$15[$\mu\textrm{m}$], 15[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$1.5[$\mu\textrm{m}$] and 1.9[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$1.7[$\mu\textrm{m}$] were fabricated by using the actual CMOS 1 [Mbit] process technology. The charateristics of I$\_$D/-V$\_$D/, I$\_$D/-V$\_$G/ were investigated and compared with the channel width and length. From the result of measuring the I$\_$D/-V$\_$D/ charges into the nitride layer by applying the gate voltage, these devices ere found to have a low conductance state with little drain current and a high conductance state with much drain current. It was shown that the devices of 15[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$15[$\mu\textrm{m}$] represented the long channel characteristics and the devices of 15[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$1.5[$\mu\textrm{m}$] and 1.9[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$1.7[$\mu\textrm{m}$] represented the short channel characteristics. In the characteristics of I$\_$D/-V$\_$D/, the critical threshold voltages of the devices were V$\_$w/ = +34[V] at t$\_$w/ = 50[sec] in the low conductance state, and the memory window sizes wee 6.3[V], 7.4[V] and 3.4[V] at the channel width and length of 15[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$15[$\mu\textrm{m}$], 15[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$1.5[$\mu\textrm{m}$], 1.9[$\mu\textrm{m}$]${\times}$1.7[$\mu\textrm{m}$], respectively. The positive logic conductive characteristics are suitable to the logic circuit designing.

Actinomycins에 의한 Adenosine Deaminase의 억제

  • Adenosine deaminase inhibitor was extracted from culture broth of Streptomyces sp. strain V-8 with ethylacetate. The ethylacetate extract showed the characteristic UV absorption spectrum of actinomycins at 440-450 nm. The ethylacetate extract was compared with respect to inhibitory behavior against adenosine deaminase from calf intestinal mucosa with actinomycin D, -C complex and actinomycin V. The Ki values for actnomycin D, -C complex, and actinomycin V against adenosine deaminase were determined to be 9.9 $\times$ 10$^{-6}$ M, 9.6 $\times$ 10$^{-6}$ M and 9.3 $\times$ 10$^{-6}$ M, respectively. The Ki value for the ethylacetate extract of culture broth against adenosine deaminase was determined to be 5.7 $\times$ 10$^{-6}$ M. The kinetic parameters of actinomycin D, -C complex, -V and ethylacetate extract of culture broth for adenosine deaminase were as follows:I$_{50}$ = 1.5 $\times$ 10$^{-5}$ M (actinomycin D), 2.7 $\times$ 10$^{-5}$ M (actinomycin C complex), 3.5 $\times$ 10$^{-5}$ M (actinomycin V), 8.9 $\times$ 10$^{-6}$ M (ethylacetate extract of culture broth). The adenosine deaminase was inhibited noncompetitively by ethylacetate extract of culture broth as well as by actinomycin D, -C complex and actinomycin V.

쌍끌이 중층트롤어법의 연구 ( 2 ) - 모형어구의 깊이에 관하여 - ( A Study on the Pair Midwater Trawling ( 2 ) - Working Depth of the Model Net - )

  • Working depth of the model net was determined by using of the same experimental tank and the same model net that used in the forwarded report in a series studies. The depth of the net which indicates the depth of the head rope from the water surface, was determined by the photographs taken in front of the net mouth with the combination of towing velocity, warp length and distance between paired boats. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1. Working depth of model nets A and B was varied in the range of 0.09~1.66$m$,and 0.04~1.34$m$(which can be converted into 2.7~40.2$m$and 1.2~49.8$m$in the full-scale net) respectively, and the depth of model net A was slightly deeper than the depth of the model net B. 2. Working depth ($D$,which is appendixed m for the model net, f for the full-scale net, A and B for the types of the model nets) can be expressed as the function of towing velocity$V_t$, as in the model net($V_t$=$m$/$sec$) $D_{mA}$=(-1.99+0.65$L_w$) $e^{-1.72V_t}$ $D_{mA]$=(-1.91+1.04 $L_w$) $e^{2.88V_t}$ in the full-scale net($V_t$=$k$'$t$ $D_{fA}$=(-29.32+0.65$L_w$)$e^{0.40 V_t}$ $D_{fB}$=(-57.60+1.04$L_w$)$e^{-0.67 V_t}$ 3. A Study on the Integrated-Optical Electric-Field Sensor utilizing Ti:LiNbO3 Y-fed Balanced-Bridge Mach-Zehnder Interferometric Modulators (Ti:LiNbO3 Y-fed Balanced-Bridge 마하젠더 간섭 광변조기를 이용한 집적광학 전계센서에 관한 연구)

  • We have demonstrated a $Ti:LiNbO_3$ electro-optic electric-field sensors utilizing a $1{\times}2$ Y-fed balanced-bridge Mach-Zehnder interferometric (YBB-MZI) modulator which uses a 3-dB directional coupler at the output and dipole patch antenna. The operation and design were proved by the BPM simulation. A dc switching voltage of ~16.6 V and an extinction ratio of ~14.7 dB are observed at a wavelength of $1.3{\mu}m$. For a 20 dBm rf power, the minimum detectable electric-fields are ~1.12 V/m and ~3.3 V/m corresponding to a dynamic range of about ~22 dB and ~18 dB at frequencies 10 MHz and 50 MHz, respectively. The sensors exhibit almost linear response for the applied electric-field intensity from 0.29 V/m to 29.8 V/m.

A Survey on the M&V to guarantee the energy saving performance of ESCO (ESCO 에너지절약 M&V 방법의 선택 및 적용방안 연구)

  • ESCO industry should guarantee the energy saving performance with M&V such as developed countries. The application of the ESCO M&V is a necessary condition on energy saving performance. This study recommends a goal, direction, and order of application and suggests selection of M&V between option A, option B, option C, option D by energy conservation technology in Korea, with reference to the examples from IPMVP and applied in US and Japan. In the future, it is needed to study on the guideline for plan report and result report of M&V based on a goal, direction, and selection of M&V option.

Structure and physical properties of Earth Crust material in the Middle of Korean Peninsula(2) : Comparison between elastic Velocity and point-load of core specimen of sedimentary rocks. (한반도 중부권 지각물질의 구조와 물성연구(2) : 퇴적암류 코아시료의 탄성파 속도와 점재하 강도 비교)

  • In order to investigate the correlation of sedimentary rock properties. specific gravity, porosity, water content, sonic wave velodty, and point4oad strength index of core samples of limestones, sandstones and shales were measured. The relationships between density and velocity show $V_p=16300d-38719.3,{\;}V_s1896.4d-29225.1$ of regression equation for sandstones and $Vp=4085d-10264.8,{\;}V_s=3519d-7841.3$ for shales and <$Vp=4085d^2-20747d+303,{\;}V_s=3899d^2-21442d+318$ for limestones. Seismic wave velocity of shales which have high density is lower than that of sandstones, and this seems to be an effect of bedding in shale. P-wave velocity and S-wave velocity of limestones, sandstones and shales show the linear relationships as a whole. The regression equations are respectively calculated V_s=0.26V_p+1041.6m/sec,{\;}V_s=0.43V_p+424.2m/sec,{\;}and{\;}Vs=0.51V_p+261.9m/sec$ and the correlation coefficients of the velocity show r= 0.86 in sandstones, r= 0.75 in limestones and r=0.86 in shales. According to the point4oad strength test for limestones, point4ord strength anisotropy was not so dear even though the specimens show generally the banded structure. Variations of dip angle of bedding whihin the range $30^{\circ}-60^{\circ}$ does not have much influence upon the diametral strength index and axial strength index. From the result of point load test, P-wave velocity increases with point4ord strength index but the regression equations are $V_p=98.5lI{s_d}+4082.1m/sec,{\;}V_p=106.41{s_a}+3954m/sec$ and their correlation coefficient is low.
