  • We deal with the approximate controllability for semilinear systems with time delay in a Hilbert space. First, we show the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the given systems with the mere general Lipschitz continuity of nonlinear operator f from $R\;\times\;V$ to H. Thereafter, it is shown that the equivalence between the reachable set of the semilinear system and that of its corresponding linear system. Finally, we make a practical application of the conditions to the system with only discrete delay.

  • Ths paper deals with the active and reactive power control of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) during its interconnection operation to power distribution system When an interconnection operation of BESS to power distribution system, it is well suited for peak load shaving and distribution voltage compensation by controlling the real and reactive power. Equivalent mxiel of the distribution system and the BESS is derived and power flow equations are presented to control the real and reactive power of BESS. In this paper, to control the active and reactive power of BESS, $P-\delta$ and Q-V control method and ntJIrerical description is presented. To verify the proposed control method, using PSCAD/EMTDC program simulates the active and reactive power control of BESS.f BESS.

  • In this paper, we realize the active PFC(Power Factor Correction) system of BF(Boost Forward) converter with PWM-PFM(Pulse Width Modulation-Pulse Frequency Modulation) control technique to control DC output voltage, to remove the noise like harmonics at output voltage, and to control the input current with sinusoidal wave synchronized by the source voltage. To achieve the desired load voltage and improved PFC, we first implement current shaping control at the inverting stage and make the converted output DC voltage with forward converter. After making the ratio of output voltage to current as 50V/1A and the duty ratio greater than 0.5. When input voltage is 30V and boost inductance is 1.1mH. we control the voltage changing rate according to the variation of load resistance using a PWM-PFM control technique. And finally we prove experimentally, we attenuated its harmonics and improved PF up to 0.96 using the current shaping technique.

  • The polyaniline (PANI) electrodes are prepared by chemical synthesis and electrodeposition methods and their supercapacitive properties are characterized and compared by morphology observation, cyclic voltammetry as a function of scan rate, and impedance spectra analysis. In particular, the supercapacitive properties obtained in the range of higher potential scan rates (e.g., over $200mV\;s^{-1}$) are emphasized to be capable of utilizing adequately the high power capability of supercapacitor. As a result, the PANI electrode by the electrodeposition shows superior specific capacitance (max. $474F\;g^{-1}$ at $10mV\;s^{-1}$ and about $390F\;g^{-1}$ at $500mV\;s^{-1}$) than those by the chemical synthesis method. This is mainly due to highly porous structure obtained by the electrodeposition to yield higher specific surface area.

  • Based on the 2-dimensional charge-control simulation[4], a purely analytical model for MODFET's is proposed. In this model, proper treatment of the diffusion effect in the 2-DEG transport due to the gradual channel opening along the 2-DEG channel was made to explain the enhanced mobility and increased thershold voltage. The channel thickness and gate capacitance are experssed as functions of gate vlotage including subthreshold characteristics of the MODFET's analytically. By introducing the finite channel opening and an effective channel-length modulation, the slope of the saturation region of the I-V curves was modeled. The smooth transition of the I-V curves from linear-to-saturation region of the I-V curves was possible using the continuous Troffimenkoff-type of field-dependent mobility. Furthermore, a correction factor f was introduced to account for the finite transtition section forming between the GCA and the saturated section. This factor removes the large discrepanicies in the saturation region fo the I-V curves presicted by existing 1-dimensional models. The fitting parameters chosen in our model were found to be predictable and vary over relatively small range of values.

  • Thunberg fritillary (Fritillaria thunbergii), a perennial used in traditional Chinese herbal medicine, is a members of the family Liliaceae. The degeneration of germplasm is a severe problem in the production of Fritillaria thunbergii var. chekiangensis. However, no information about viral infections of F. thunbergii var. chekiangensis has been reported. In this study, we sequenced the small RNAs of F. thunbergii var. chekiangensis from leaves and bulbs, and viruses were identified using a phylogenetic analysis and BLAST search for sequence. In addition, multiplex reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to rapidly detect viruses in this variety. Our study first reported that five viruses infected F. thunbergii var. chekiangensis. Among them, fritillary virus Y (FVY), lily mottle virus (LMoV), Thunberg fritillary mosaic virus (TFMV), and hop yellow virus (HYV) had been reported in F. thunbergii, while apple stem grooving virus was first reported in the genus Fritillaria. A multiplex RT-PCR method was developed to rapidly test the four viruses FVY, LMoV, TFMV, and HYV in F. thunbergii var. chekiangensis. Our results provide a better understanding of the infection of F. thunbergii var. chekiangensis by viruses and a basic reference for the better design of suitable control measures.

  • This paper proposes a fast-transient digital LDO(Low dropout) regulator with binary-weighted current control technique. Conventional digital LDO takes a long time to stabilize the output voltage, because it controls the amount of current step by step, thus ringing problem is generated. Binary-weighted current control technique rapidly stabilizes output voltage by removing the ringing problem. When output voltage reliably reaches the target voltage, It added the FRZ mode(Freeze) to stop the operation of digital LDO. The proposed fast response digital LDO is used with a slow response DC-DC converter in the system which rapidly changes output voltage. The proposed digital controller circuit area was reduced by 56% compared to conventional bidirectional shift register, and the ripple voltage was reduced by 87%. A chip was implemented with a $0.18{\mu}F$ CMOS process. The settling time is $3.1{\mu}F$ and the voltage ripple is 6.2mV when $1{\mu}F$ output capacitor is used.

  • This paper presents a method for the digital control of a high power factor AC/DC converter employing the power balance control technique to achieve a fast response of the output voltage control. To avoid the effects of an output voltage ripple in the voltage control loop, the average output voltage is sampled and used as a feedback signal for the output voltage controller. The proposed control technique was verified by simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and its implementation was realized by a dsPIC30F4011 digital signal processor to control a CUK topology AC/DC converter with a 48V output voltage and a 250 W output power. The experimental results agree with the simulation results. The proposed control technique achieves a fast transient response with a lower line current distortion than is achieved when using a conventional proportional-integral controller and the power balance control technique with the conventional sampling method.
