Purpose: This study was designed to investigate the level of recognition and utilization of Korean physical therapists for assistive technology. Methods: The subjects of this study were 218 physical therapists who worked in various institutions in Seoul, Kyonggi-do, and Choongchung area. A questionnaire was developed using a related article. Simple descriptive statistics were used for respondent characteristics, and for the level of recognition and utilization. Results: The physical therapists reported having a less-than-average level of recognition and utilization for assistive technology. They were cognizant that the use of assistive technology devices were used mainly for specific outcome such as mobility, seating and position, and ADL. Conclusion: Our findings indicate that physical therapists need more opportunities for training in assistive technology. For effective clinical applications of assistive technology, there should be continuous support, such as college education, continued education, and related seminars.

본 연구의 목적은 리테일테크의 기술활용이 소비자의 구매의도에 어떠한 영향이 있는지를 규명하는 것이다. 더욱이 이러한 영향관계에서 기술 유용성과 용이성의 매개효과를 규명하고, 체험마케팅이 소비자의 구매의도를 조절하는지를 규명하는 것이다. 연구방법은 2023년 8월 1일 부터 2023년 9월 30일까지 설문조사를 실시하였고, 총257명이 연구에 참여하였다. 통계분석은 가설 검증을 위해 위계적 회귀분석, 3단계 매개회귀분석, 위계적 3단계 조절회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 리테일테크 기술 활용에서 빅데이터·AI 활용, 모바일·SNS 활용, 라이브커머스 활용, 사물인터넷 활용이 구매의도에 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 기술 유용성은 사물인터넷 활용, 모바일·SNS 활용, 빅데이터·AI 활용에서 매개효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 기술 용이성은 사물인터넷 활용, 모바일·SNS 활용, 라이브커머스 활용, 빅데이터·AI 활용 매개효과가 확인되었다. 넷째, 일탈적 체험은 모바일·SNS 활용, 라이브커머스 활용에서 조절효과가 확인되었다. 다섯째, 심미적 체험은 모바일·SNS 활용, 빅데이터·AI 활용에서 조절효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 국내 유통산업이 글로벌 시장에 진출하는데 있어 신기술을 활용하여 기업의 경쟁우위를 확보하여 국가 경쟁력에 기여하길 기대한다.

A brief review is presented on the ion beam application in science and technology. ion beams are used very effectively in various fields of science and technology, on the basis of advance in accelerator technology and experimental techniques for ion beam utilization. Recent progress in this field is reviewed in terms of the direct ion beam utilization like ion beam analysis, and the utilization of neutrons as secondary particles.

Despite the proliferation of free trade agreements (FTAs), many exporting firms are still confronted with several challenges in utilizing the FTA preferential tariffs. Based on the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, this study empirically examines the factors affecting the utilization of FTA schemes by exporting firms. To clarify the key factors influencing FTA utilization, this study develops a conceptual model from the perspective of the adoption of information technology innovations. Eight factors derived from the TOE framework are proposed to explore the determinants of FTA utilization in export. Partial least squares structural equation modeling is employed to analyze the data collected from 162 exporting small- and medium-sized enterprises in the South Korean textile industry. The findings reveal that compatibility and trading partner influence are positively associated with FTA utilization, while complexity is negatively related. Factors of organizational context do not show any relationship with FTA utilization. This study is the first to theoretically analyze and empirically test the determinants of FTA utilization from the perspective of technological innovation adoptions. By examining the relative importance of TOE factors in the utilization of FTA schemes, this study expects to advance a holistic understanding on the perceived factors that could potentially affect the utilization of FTA schemes.

Construction firms attempt to improve project performance by adopting technology. However, the advantages gained from technology utilization are still not clear. Lack of information regarding technology benefits has resulted in industry reluctance to implement new technology. Therefore, there are needs for studies that quantify the impacts of technology utilization on project performance. An industry-wide survey was used to collect project data from 70 capital facility projects on the issue of technology usage and project owner satisfaction parameter. This paper reports on integration/automation technology usage in the Taiwanese construction industry and associated impacts on project owner satisfaction. In addition, integration and automation technology findings are presented by project phase. The analyses indicate that projects with owner satisfaction have, on average, higher levels of technology utilization than projects with owner dissatisfaction for all technology usage metrics analyzed.

The study aims at suggesting the direction of industrial utilization for harmful jellyfish which appears in large quantities in the Korean coastal areas. If the technology of industrial utilization for the jellyfish is developed, it will be possible to grow the industry to the export industry due to the mass appearance of jellyfish in Korean coastal areas. The industrial utilization of jellyfish should follow the direction of minimizing the damage by the jellyfish blooms and maximizing the resource recycling of the jellyfish. Therefore, Korea needs construction of infrastructure for the industrialization and promotion of R&D in order to activate the industrial utilization. Finally, the study suggested issues and tasks for promoting the industrial utilization of jellyfish as follows. First, Korea should stabilize the high quality raw material supply system. Second, mass processing technology should be developed for the industrial utilization of the jellyfish. Third, research and manual development should follow for the preparation of turning the jellyfish to the food. Fourth, extraction technology of useful non-food substance such as extracting collagen from jellyfish should be developed and accelerate the industrial utilization of non-food area.
