  • This paper summarizes the results of these efforts by offering a photovoltaic system structure in 50kW large scale applications installed in Chosun University dormitory roof and simulation tool. This describes configuration of utility interactive photovoltaic system which generated power supply for dormitory. In this paper represent 50kW utility PV system examination result.

  • This paper deal with a necessary factors for design grid connected photovoltaic system with stand-alone operation, and show simulation results of individual functions and multi- operation according to utility condition. Generally, photovoltaic system have only one operation of either stand-alone or line interactive, and have a isolation transformer for electrical isolation from utility therefore it is bulky, weighty, and a high price system as compared with usefulness. In this paper, A topology and algorithm adequate for lightweight, high efficiency, low price, multi function is selected and inquired into the validity using simulation of variable conditions.

  • The solar cells should be operated at the maximum power point because its output characteristics are greatly fluctuated on the variation of insolation, temperature and load. The output power of solar cell is DC, therefore it is necessary to install an inverter among electric power converts. The inverter have to supply a sinusoidal current and voltage to the load and the interactive utility line. In the paper, the proposes a photovoltaic system designed with a step up chopper and single phase PWM voltage source inverter. Synchronous signal and control signal was processed by microprocessor for stable modulation. The step up chopper operates in continuous mode by adjusting the duty ratio so that the photovoltaic system tracks the maximum power point of solar cell without any influence on the variation of insolation and temperature because solar cell has typical dropping character. The single phase PWM voltage source inverter consists of complex type of electric power converter to compensate for the defect, that is, solar cell cannot be developed continuously by connecting with the source of electric power, from 10 to $20\%$. The single phase PWM voltage source inverter operates in situation that its output voltage is in same phase with the utility voltage. The inverter supplies an ac power with high factor and low level of harmonics to the load and the utility power system.

  • Since the residential load is an AC load and the output of solar cell is a DC power, the photovoltaic system needs the DC/AC converter to utilize solar cell. In case of driving to interact with utility line, in order to operate at unity power factor, converter must provide the sinusoidal wave current and voltage with same phase of utility line. Since output of solar cell is greatly fluctuated by insolation, it is necessary that the operation of solar cell output in the range of the vicinity of maximum power point. In this paper, DC/AC converter is three phase PWM converter with smoothing reactor. And then, feedforward control used to obtain a superior characteristic for current control and digital PLL circuit used to detect the phase of utility line.

  • The photovoltaic inverter is a system which transforms the solar energy to the electrical energy. Because the output of photovoltaic inverter depends on solar radiation, it is necessary to save generated power or to interface with utility line. This paper describes a 2KVA photovoltaic inverter utilizing IGBT, designed to have a very high efficiency in stand alone mode and to have the function synchronizing the phase between inverter and utility voltage as a fundamental study for utility interactive mode.

  • It is expected that utility interactive small scale dispersed PV system will be widely diffused in the future. This paper discussed the design and control method of single phase PV inverter system with compensation capability of reactive power including harmonic distortion, based on state space modelling. As the results, compensation effects were suggested by simulation and experiment.

  • This paper describes a new inverter active inverter between a photovoltaic(PV) array and single-phase utility that avoid the bulky input(60Hz) transformer on the AC side. The interface employs a pwm boost converter on the DC side followed by a pwm boost converter on the DC side followed by a pwm current-forced single-phase rectifier for injecting the power from the PV array into the mains. The current waveform at the AC side remains sinusoidal and exactly in phase at all time. The circuit also has the advantage of requiring fewer switching device than high-frequency link system. This paper describes modeling of PV array and new system topology. Simulation results on the performance of the connection are also presented.

  • For the purpose of more effective simulation of the utility interactive WPGS(Wind Power Generation System) the SWRW (Simulation method for WPGS using Real Weather condition) is used in this paper, in which those of three topics for the WPGS simulation. user-friendly method, applicability to grid-connection and the utilization of the real weather conditions, are satisfied. The simulation of the WPGS using the real weather condition including components modeling of wind turbine system is achieved by introducing the interface method of a non-linear external parameter and FORTRAN using PSCAD/EMTDC. The simulations of steady-state and transient-state are performed effectively by the introduced simulation method. The generator output and current supplied into utility can be obtained by the steady-state simulation, and THD can be achieved by analyzing the results as well. The transient - state of the WPGS can be analyzed by the simulation results of over cut-out wind speed.

  • The development of mobile applications is fast in recent years. However, nearly all applications are for messaging, financial, locating services based on simple interactions with mobile users because of the limited screen size, narrow network bandwidth, and low computing power. Processing an algorithm for supporting a group decision process on mobile devices becomes impossible. In this paper, we introduce the mobile-oriented simple interactive procedure for support a group decision making process. The interactive procedure is developed for multiple objective linear programming problems to help the group select a compromising solution in the mobile Internet environment. Our procedure lessens the burden of group decision makers, which is one of necessary conditions of the mobile environment. Only the partial weak order preferences of variables and objectives from group decision makers are enough for searching the best compromising solution. The methodology is designed to avoid any assumption about the shape or existence of the decision makers's utility function. For the purpose of the experimental study of the procedure, we developed a group decision support system in the mobile Internet environment, MOBIGSS and applied to an allocation problem of investor assets.
